병렬 공진형 인버터에서 사용되는 새로운 형태의 이산시간 예측 전류 제어기 (A Novel Type of Discrete Time Predictive Current Controllers for Parallel Resonant Inverters)

  • In this paper, we propose two types of novel discrete time current control methods of modified fixed band hysteresis control and optimal control for Parallel Resonant DC Link Inverters(PRDCLI). Because zero bus voltage intervals are generated on the DC link of PRDCLI, we can obtain the information of counter electromotive force(emf) by a simple estimation strategy. The proposed current controllers predict the currents of the next resonant cycle using the obstained information of counter emf and the average values of DC link voltages. The computer simulation results for a simple equivalent circuit of induction motor show that the proposed control methods are more effective than conventional methods.

  • In recent years, as the robot technology is developed the researches on the artificial muscle actuator that enable robot to move dextrously like biological organ become active. The widely used materials for artificial muscle are the shape memory alloy and the electroactive polymer. These actuators have the higher energy density than the electromechanical actuator such as motor. However, there are some drawbacks for actuator. SMA has the hysterical dynamic characteristics. In this paper the segmented binary control for reducing the hysteresis of SMA is proposed and the simulation of anthropomorphic robotic hand is performed using ADAMS.

  • In the design and analysis of electric machines the precise calculation of iron loss has incredible significance. It is tough to foresee iron losses precisely in machines due to distribution of non sinusoidal flux density. It is necessary to approximate the iron losses for the precise computation of efficiency. This paper presents a novel approach for the prediction of iron losses of the brushless dc (BLDC) motors by considering the effects of minor hysteresis loops in the simplified model. The novel iron loss model results are compared with the simplified model and with finite element method (FEM).

  • The rotational loss is one of the most important problems for the practical applications of PM synchronous motor/generator. This rotational loss is divided as the mechanical loss by windage and bearing and iron loss by hysteresis loop and eddy current in the part of the magnetic field. So, In this paper, a double-sided PMSM/G without the iron loss is designed by analytical method of the magnetic field and estimation of the back-EMF constant represented as the design parameter. This design model consists of the double-sided PM rotor with Halbach magnetized array and coreless 3-phase winding stator. The results show that the double-sided PMSM/G without iron loss can be applicable to the required system without the rotational loss.

Torque Control Strategy for High Performance SR Drive

  • This paper attempts to summarize torque control strategy for high performance SR drive. There are primarily two strategies for torque control. One method is direct torque control, which uses the simple control scheme and hysteresis controller to reduce the torque ripple. Another method is indirect torque control, which uses the complicated algorithms or simple distribution function to distribute each phase torque and obtain current command. The current controller is used to control phase torque by a given current command. In order to compare these two strategies of torque control, five torque control methods are introduced. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are presented. At last, they are verified by some simulations and experimental results.

  • This paper is proposed that the photovoltaic/fuel cell hybrid generation system for the stand-alone system. In case of the photovoltaic generation system, it depends on the weather condition, irradiation and so on... On the contrary, fuel cell has not this limitation. It can be interactive generation system between photovoltaic and fuel cell. This paper simulated stand-alone co-generation system based on the control of DC link. Moreover, 1[kw] BLDC motor system with speed and hysteresis current controller is used for the proposed system.

  • This paper describes the sensorless technique for the surface-mounted permanent-magent synchronous motor(SPMSM or PMSM) drive based on magnetic saliency. The control technique is a sensorless control algorithm that injects the high frequency voltage to the stator terminal in order to estimate the rotor position and speed. The rotor position and speed for sensorless vector control is achieved by appropriate signal processing to extract the position information from the stator current in the low speed range including zero speed. Proposed sensorless algorithm using the double-band hysteresis controller and initial rotor position detection exhibits excellent reference tracking and increased robustness. Experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed control schemes.

Improving Light Stability of Natural Rubber Latex Foam

  • In this study, natural rubber latex foam was prepared in order to replace commercialized polyurethane foams as a car seat material. Physical properties of the latex foam were investigated and the light stability was improved. The latex foam was mixed in an aqueous solution state, and the degree of foaming and the accelerator ratios were appropriately controlled. Tensile properties, hysteresis and dynamic mechanical properties of the latex foam were measured to compare with those of polyurethane foams. UV light absorbers and radical scavengers were added for improving light stability of the latex foam. Xenon lamp test was conducted to investigate the effects of the reagents on light stability. Our results revealed that the prepared latex foam including a light absorber with an antioxidant showed excellent light stable performances.

전기강판의 벡터 자기특성을 고려한 전기기기의 손실특성 해석 (Iron Loss Analysis of Electric Machine Considering Vector Magnetic Properties of Electrical Steel Sheet)

  • This paper presents vector magnetic properties of an electrical steel sheet (ESS) employed for electric machine and iron loss analysis considering the vector magnetic properties of the ESS. The vector magnetic properties of the ESS are measured by using a two-dimensional single sheet tester and modeled by an E&S vector hysteresis model to be applied to finite element method. The finite element analysis considering the vector magnetic properties is applied to iron loss analysis of a three-phase induction motor model, and the influences of the vector magnetic properties on the iron loss distribution are verified by comparing with numerical results from a typical B-H curve model.

  • An interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is receiving increased attention for many industrial applications because of its high torque to inertia ratio, superior power density, and high efficiency. IPMSM is necessary to use the accurate information of the inductance for the precise torque control owing to the reluctance torque. This paper presents two method to measure the each-axis Inductance. The first method uses the peak current that is measured by applying the pulsewise voltage on the each position of IPMSM. The second uses the hysteresis loop of the flux and current measured by applying the positive and negative pulsewise voltage alternately on the each-axis.
