  • Surge pressure problem at the oil return line of the hydraulic circuit of an active suspension system for passenger cars was investigated by experiments and numerical analyses. In the numerical analyses, the method of characteristics was used for simulating unsteady flow in the hydraulic system and gas discrete model was adopted for estimating gas volume variation in separated liquid column. In the experiments and analyses, effects of the physical parameters of the accumlator on smoothing surge pressure was elucidated.

유압 구동계 에너지 제생 브레이크의 동특성 해석 (Dynamic Analysis on the Energy Regenerative Brake of Hydraulic Driven Systems)

  • The hydraulic energy regnerative brake systems is introduced in this work. An accumulator stores kinetic energy during braking action, and the stored energy is used in a following acceleration action. The dynamic model of the brake system is derived for computer simulation study, and the Runge-Kutta numerical integration method is applied to the simulation work. Since the model contains several unknown parameters, these were determined by data which had been proceeded. Through a series of computer simulation , dynamic performance of the energy regenerative brake system is compared with that of a conventional system in which a conventional brake circuit is used. A series of test is carried out in the laboratory. The dynamic characteristics of the hydraulic motor system, such as the surge pressure and response time, are investigated in both brake action and acceleration action.

  • Hydraulic systems are widely used as a power transfer and/or power control system due to its flexibility, controllability, accuracy and high power density. Valve controlled and/or pump capacity controlled systems are normally adopted as a control device, but nowadays pump speed controlled systems are emerging as a new energy-efficient hydraulic control system. In this paper the pump speed controlled system for the cylinder position control of a counter balance circuit is investigated by simulation study and position control experiments were carried out. As a result, the possibility and efficiency of the pump speed controlled system were verified.

  • The closed circuit pump is applied to control rotating speed and direction of hydraulic motor in hydrostatic transmission. To development of this pump, first of all the servo control regulator has to be designed. Mechanical-hydraulic type servo control mechanism is excellent to be compared with electronic-hydraulic type servo control valve to reliability and economy. In this paper to development positive and negative variable displacement type servo regulator, the hydro-mechanical servo control mechanism is calculated and designed with force balance of pilot piston and position feedback of servo piston.

  • 전기-정유압식 작동기(EHA)는 독립적으로 유동력원을 운용함에 따라, 복잡한 유압 배관을 제거할 수 있어 누유 및 중량 최소화, 안전성 향상의 장점이 있어 최근 항공기용 비행제어 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 이러한 EHA를 탑재하는 항공기의 경우, 기존 중앙 유압시스템을 탑재한 항공기에 비해 제한된 냉각원에 따른 EHA의 열관리 이슈가 대두된다. 이러한 열관리 이슈의 해결을 위해서는, EHA의 열특성을 예측할 수 있는 열해석 모델이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 유압펌프 및 전기모터로 구성되는 EHA 유압동력모듈의 내부 회전체를 고압 하에서 고속으로 회전이 가능하도록, 유압동력모듈 내부에 유체 순환 회로를 적용하였다. 적합한 열해석 모델을 구축하고, 유냉식 또는 비유냉식 유압동력모듈 적용에 따른 해석 결과의 비교 및 검토를 통해 EHA의 열특성 영향성을 확인하고자 하였다.

  • The hydraulic excavator has been a popular research object for automation because of its multi-workings and economic efficiency. When it works crane tasks, most of disasters happen. The objective of this paper is to design each components and to construct boom, arm, bucket circuit. These models modeled with AMESim show us change of variables and behavior of excavator. Simulation model will be used for simulator of excavator.

  • In the electro-hydraulic injector for the common rail Diesel fuel injection system, the injection nozzle is being opened and closed by movement of a injector's needle which is balanced by pressure at the nozzle seat and at the needle control chamber, at the opposite end of the needle. In this study, the piezo actuator was considered as a prime movers in high pressure Diesel injector. Namely a piezo-driven Diesel injector, as a new method driven by piezoelectric energy, has been applied with a purpose to develop the analysis model of the piezo actuator to predict the dynamics characteristics of the hydraulic component(injector) by using the AMESim code. Aimed at simulating the hydraulic behavior of the piezo-driven injector, the circuit model has been developed and verified by comparison with the experimental results. As this research results, we found that the input voltage exerted on piezo stack is the dominant factor which affects on the initial needle behavior of piezo-driven injector than the hydraulic force generated by the constant injection pressure. Also we know the piezo-driven injector has more degrees of freedom in controlling the injection rate with the high pressure than a solenoid-driven injector.

  • In order to reduce energy consumption, secondary controlled system has been applied to many types of equipments. In lifting equipments or press machines using hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic transformer is used as a control component instead of a valve for motion control and a component for recovering potential energy of load. The transformer is a combination of a variable displacement pump/motor as a secondary controlled element and a fixed displacement pump/motor. In this paper the effect of transformer is studied. Multiple closed loop controllers with displacement feedback of variable pump/motor, speed feedback and position feedback of cylinder are used. The efficiency and energy consumption when cylinder is driven up and down is calculated by simulation. Simulation results show that considerable energy saving is achieved by choosing load ratio, circuit type and supply pressure.

  • Agricultural hydraulic robot which was reported in Part Ⅰ had been developed . The robot satisfied performance to intend before development. For actual use, however, it have been necessary to reduce manipulator weigh and to simplify construction of hydraulic control valve. Then, working stress of manipulator link and pressure fluctuation of hydraulic circuit were measured. Step and frequency response tests were done subject to amplitude of reference voltage of 0.1 , 0.3 , 0.5 and 1.0v. and delivery pressure of 3.5 and 5.0MPa. Working stress were about 25% comparing with fatigue strength, Thus, mass of manipulator might be reduce to 30 %. In hydraulic control system, virtual natural frequency of 6.5Hz is produced from the combination of drain passage area shortage of servovalve. Further , because of passage area shortage , working pressure at both side of cylinder was acted on. This phenomenon prevent utilize effectively engine power. Then, control valve for new model was p oposed.

  • EHPS는 탈엔진형 조향기술로 BLDC 모터를 통해 유압펌프를 작동시켜 조향력을 보조하는 동력 조향장치이다. EHPS는 BLDC 모터, 기어펌프 및 유압회로, 파워 스티어링 등으로 이루어진 전기전자, 유압 및 기계시스템의 복합적 시스템으로 모델링이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 EHPS 시스템의 구성 부품을 수학적 모델링 하였고, AMESim을 이용하여 multi-domain 시스템의 시뮬레이션 모델을 구축하였다. 이를 활용한 다양한 시뮬레이션을 통해 개발 초기단계에서의 시행착오를 줄이고 완성도 높은 EHPS 개발 업무를 수행하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
