가청화를 이용한 댐 수차 발전기소음의 저감효과 평가 (Evaluation on Reduction Effect of Dam Hydraulic Turbine Dynamo Noise using Auralization)

  • In case of the hydraulic turbine dynamo room at Dam, due to its big volume and reflexible finishing material, since the noise of electricity-generation is amplifying, it influences the difficulty of mutual communication among the workers, also it is causing both mental and physical damages to those workers in the neighboring office. Accordingly, after presentation of the optimized renovation model of the hydraulic turbine dynamo room using the acoustic simulation, this Research has compared and evaluated them using the auralizational technique between the present condition of "before improvement" and the acoustic condition of "after improvement". As the result of psycho-acoustics experiment, as the acoustic conditions at both "before & after Improvement" were apparently compared, it appeared that there is a considerable amount of noise-reduction effect at psycho-acoustics. It is considered that such material could be utilized as the valuable data hereafter for the time when any construction and renovation of the hydraulic turbine dynamo room and other similar workshop.

3축 전기유압 매니퓰레이터의 컴플라이언스 제어 (Compliance Control of a 3-Link Electro-Hydraulic Manipulator)

  • An electro-hydraulic manipulator using hydraulic actuators has many nonlinear elements, and its parameter fluctuations are greater than those of an electrically driven manipulator. So it is relatively difficult to obtain stable control performance. In this report, we applied disturbance estimation and compensation type robust control to all axes in a 3-link electro-hydraulic manipulator. From the results of experiment, it was confirmed that the performance of trajectory tracking and attitude regulating is greatly improved by the disturbance observer, which model is the same for each axis. On the other hand, for the autonomous assembly tasks, it is said that compliance control is one of the most available methods. Therefore we proposed compliance control which is based on the position control by disturbance observer for our manipulator system. To realize more stable contact work, the states in the compliance loop are feedback, where not only displacement but also velocity and acceleration are considered. And we applied this compliance control to Peg-in-Hole insertion task and analyzed mechanical relation between peg and hole. Also we proposed new method of shifting the position of end-effector periodically for the purpose of smooth insertion. As a result of using this method, it is experimentally confirmed that Peg-in-Hole insertion task with a clearance of 0.05[mm]can be achieved.

  • Due to the nature of cavitation numerical analyses, computational optimization of a pump with respect to the cavitation properties is extremely demanding. In this paper it is shown how a combination of Transient Blade Row (TBR) method and some simplifications can be used for making the optimization process more efficient and thus possible on current generation of hardware. The aim of the paper is not the theory of hydraulic design. Instead, the practical aspects of numerical optimization are shown. This is done on an example of a radial pump and a combination of ANSYS CFX, ANSYS software tools and custom scripts is used. First, a comparison of TBR and fully-transient simulation is made. Based on the results, the TBR method is chosen and a parametric model assembled. Design of Experiment (DOE) table is computed and the results are used for sensitivity analysis. As the last step, the final design is created and computed as fully-transient. In conclusion, the results are discussed.

  • This study deals with the speed control of an overcentered variable-displacement hydraulic motor on a constant pressure network, which is noted for its high system efficiency fast dynamic response and energy recovery capability. The speed control characteristics of the conventional cascade PI controller are largely affected by load-torque disturbances. To obtain robust speed control despite torque disturbances, the load torque is estimated by an observer based on a mathematical model and compensated for by a feedforward loop. It is shown by experiment that robust speed control may be obtained with the proposed controller. The experimental data agree fairly well with the theoretical analysis.

  • This paper presents dynamic analysis of a hydraulic excavator based on experimental data. A three dimensional multibody model of a hydraulic excavator is modeled for the computer simulation. The hydraulic pressures acting on the cylinders are measured from experiments, and the forces exerting on the cylinders are calculated from the measured pressures. Using these forces, the dynamic analysis of the excavator is carried out to regenerate the motion in the computer simulation. A proper operation scheme is assumed to match the computational result and the experiment. The DADS program is used for the dynamic analysis.

일체형 순수유압식 브레이커의 민감도해석에 의한 성능 향상 (Performance Improvement of an Integrated-type Fully-Hydraulic Breaker by Sensitivity Analysis)

  • The performance improvement of a small-size integrated-type fully hydraulic breaker is studied in this paper. Mathematical modeling of the breaker is established and verified by experiment. Through sensitivity analysis using AMESim, the key design parameters are selected and nearly optimized to maximize the impact energy as well as to improve the dynamic characteristics such as the piston upper chamber pressure, piston and valve displacements. As a result, the impact energy, blows per minute(bpm) and output power are increased by 52.9%, 1%, and 55.6%, respectively compared with the current design. The dynamic characteristics of the piston upper chamber pressure, piston and valve displacements are also improved by the design change.

자연 친화형 해안 침식방지 구조물의 안정성 (Stability on Preventive Structures of Shore Erosion with Natural Affinity)

  • 본 연구에서는 자연 친화형의 해안을 보호하고 침식을 방지할 수 있는 해수유통 호안블록을 개발하였다. 개발한 호안블록 구조물은 반사율과 안정성 및 월파량에 대한 기존 구조물과 수리모형 비교실험을 통해 안정성과 우수성을 입증하였다. 또한 이를 현장에 시공하여 구조물서의 현장 적용성과 기능을 검토하기 위해 침식해안의 일부 구간에 본 구조물을 설치하고 해안 표사의 변화를 조사관찰한 결과, 많은 양의 모래가 퇴적되는 것을 확인함으로써 해안침식 방지용 호안 구조물로서의 기능과 적용성을 확보하였다.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL HYDRAULIC COMPONENT FOR THE BEST ESTIMATE SYSTEM ANALYSIS CODE MARS

  • A multi-dimensional component for the thermal-hydraulic system analysis code, MARS, was developed for a more realistic three-dimensional analysis of nuclear systems. A three-dimensional and two-fluid model for a two-phase flow in Cartesian and cylindrical coordinates was employed. The governing equations and physical constitutive relationships were extended from those of a one-dimensional version. The numerical solution method adopted a semi-implicit and finite-difference method based on a staggered-grid mesh and a donor-cell scheme. The relevant length scale was very coarse compared to commercial computational fluid dynamics tools. Thus a simple Prandtl's mixing length turbulence model was applied to interpret the turbulent induced momentum and energy diffusivity. Non drag interfacial forces were not considered as in the general nuclear system codes. Several conceptual cases with analytic solutions were chosen and analyzed to assess the fundamental terms. RPI air-water and UPTF 7 tests were simulated and compared to the experimental data. The simulation results for the RPI air-water two-phase flow experiment showed good agreement with the measured void fraction. The simulation results for the UPTF downcomer test 7 were compared to the experiment data and the results from other multi-dimensional system codes for the ECC delivery flow.

불규칙 단파가 신월저류배수시설의 수리적 안정성에 미치는 영향에 대한 실험 연구 (An experimental study on the influence of undular bore on the hydraulic stability at Shinwol rainwater storage and drainage system)

  • 대심도 터널은 기 개발된 도시의 부족한 배수관망 능력을 보강하기 위하여 지하에 설치하는 대규모 도시홍수 배제 시설물로 역 사이펀 관로 형태를 하고 있는 시설물이다. 대심도 터널과 같은 구조에서는 하류에서 발생한 불규칙 단파에 의하여 터널의 수리적 안정성에 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 최초로 건설 중인 '신월 빗물저류배수시설'의 수리적 안정성에 불규칙 단파가 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 다양한 홍수유입 시나리오에 대하여 수리모형실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 수리모형실험 결과 하류에서 발생한 불규칙 단파가 상류로 이동하면서 관 내 포집되어 압축상태인 공기덩어리를 밀어내는데, 이 공기덩어리가 상류 수직유입구를 통하여 급배기 되는 과정에 수직유입구를 질식시키고 홍수유입을 차단하여 월류가 발생하는 것으로 판단된다. 또한 불규칙 단파의 이동속도를 분석한 결과 불규칙 단파가 이동하면서 에너지를 전달하고 이때 관 내 압력 상승 및 불규칙 단파의 속도 증가분이 발생하는 것으로 판단된다. 대심도 터널의 수리적 안정성에 중요한 역할을 하는 불규칙 단파의 크기 및 속도 예측을 위한 추가 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
