  • In this paper we proposed the design of the hybrid road lighting control system using solar-light generation. The proposed hybrid road lighting control system be power offer through hybrid controller using Solar-Light Generation, and it is designed so that it can control lighting up. To control supply of continuous power when during power shortages. And the gateway be transmit control command using zigbee to road lighting to ensure that automatic lighting control on human sensing. In this case, the gateway is apply the lighting control algorithm that decisions to the status of the system by a pre-set time schedule and be able to operate. In this paper, the proposed efficiency analysis results of a hybrid road lighting control system was consumed power of 129.6W per day, 3.8KW per month, 47.3KW per annual. As a result, it were able to increase the energy efficiency than existing lighting control system by reduce power consumption of 76.2% and the electricity prices of 76.8%.

  • 본 연구에서는 비선형 최적화 문제를 효율적으로 해결하기 위한 혼합유전알고리즘(Hybrid Genetic Algorthm : HGA)을 개발하였다. HGA는 기존 유전알고리즘의 적용에 있어 문제점으로 지적된 정밀도의 적용문제와 벌금함수의 사용을 배제하였으며 지역적최적점으로 빠르게 수렴하는 기존의 지역적 탐색법과 유전알고리즘 적용이후 수렴된 해 주변에 대한 정밀탐색법을 함께 고려하여 설계하였으며 이를 세가지의 비선형 최적화 문제 적용하여 본 논문에서 개발한 HGA의 유효성을 보였다.

  • Cooperative query answering provides neighborhood or associate information relevant to the initial query using the knowledge about the query and data. In this paper, we present an intelligent query answering system for suporting cooperative query answering system presented in this paper performs query relaxation process using hybrid knowledge base. The hybrid knowledge base which is used for relaxation of queries, composes of semantic list and rule based knowledge base for structural approach. Futhermore, this paper proposes the query relaxation algorithm for query reformulation using initial query on the basis of hybrid knowledge base.

Hybrid BFPSO Approach for Effective Tuning of PID Controller for Load Frequency Control Application in an Interconnected Power System

  • Penetration of renewable energy sources makes the modern interconnected power systems to have more intelligence and flexibility in the control. Hence, it is essential to maintain the system frequency and tie-line power exchange at nominal values using Load Frequency Control (LFC) for efficient, economic and reliable operation of power systems. In this paper, intelligent tuning of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller for LFC in an interconnected power system is considered as a main objective. The chosen problem is formulated as an optimization problem and the optimal gain parameters of PID controllers are computed with three innovative swarm intelligent algorithms named Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Bacterial Foraging Optimization Algorithm (BFOA) and hybrid Bacterial Foraging Particle Swarm Optimization (BFPSO) and a comparative study is made between them. A new objective function designed with necessary time domain specifications using weighted sum approach is also offered in this report and compared with conventional objective functions. All the simulation results clearly reveal that, the hybrid BFPSO tuned PID controller with proposed objective function has better control performances over other optimization methodologies.

  • 본 논문에서는 대표적인 비선형 동특성을 가지는 실제 헬리콥터의 회전 및 자세 운동을 근사화한 모형 헬리콥터의 시스템을 소개하고 이 시스템의 정지 자세 제어를 위하여 WAVENET 제어기와 PID 제어기를 설계하였으며, WAVENET의 신경망 연결 가중치(weight) 및 웨이브렛의 신축 및 이동변수와 PID 제어기의 최적 이득 계수를 GA를 사용하여 조정되도록 하였다. 그리고 과도 응답 특성이 우수한 WAVENET 제어기와 정상 상태 특성이 우수한 GA-PID 제어기를 Hybrid 형태로 구성한 Hybrid GA-PID WAVENET 제어기를 비선형 시스템인 모형 헬리콥터 시스템에 적용하여 제안한 제어기 설계 알고리즘의 유효성과 우수성을 입증하고자 한다.

  • When robot manipulatros as mathematically modeled. uncetainties may not be avoided. The uncertain factors come from imperfect knowledge of system parameters, payload change. friction, external disturbance and etc. In this work, we proposed a class of robust hybrid control of manipulatosrs. We propose a class of expanded robust hybrid control with the separated bound function and the simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

  • A hybrid charging method with serial and parallel architecture has been developed to resolve the unbalanced charge problem among battery cells for Electric Vehicles. In this method, the major charging is performed with serial part and the balancing is carried out with the parallel part, where the serial part is big and heavy but the parallel part is smaller and lighter than serial part. A sensor array to detect the individual battery cell voltage, duty rate control incorporated IGBTs, and battery management system are employed as the core parts of the proposed system.

  • We present a framework of an intelligent design support system for embodiment design of machine tools which can support efficiently and systematically the machine design by utilizing design knowledge such as objects(part), know-how, public, evaluation, and procedures. The design knowledge of machining center has been accumulated through interview with design experts of machine tool companies. The processes of embodiment design of machining center are established. We also introduce a hybrid knowledge representation so that the systm can easily deal with various and complicated design knowledge. The intelligent design system is being developed on the basis of object-oriented programming, and all parts of a design object, machining center, are also classified by the object-oriented modeling. For the demonstration of effectiveness of the suggested system, a structural design system for machine tools is implemented.
