고정식 집속형 PV모듈 복합패널의 BIPV적용성 검토 (A Study on the Application of Fixed-concentrated PV Module Hybrid Panel for BIPV)

  • The verified thermal efficiency, thermal capacity confirmed the effects of the cooling system. Therefore, it is useful for preventing the PV cell temperature rising when solar radiation accumulates in summer. When adopting a hybrid panel for the BIPV system, the affected areas include the vertical outside walls facing the south, southeast, and southwest on the curtain walls excluding windows. The standards on replace aluminum panel which were the popular exterior material were investigated, Designing practice made sure that it could be manufactured in various sizes, and confirmed the most proper method to install a hybrid panel in the BIPV system.

  • A new progressive advanced approach (Loop thermosyphon Thermoelectric Power generation System) is suggested to optimize heat recovery ability from vehicle exhaust gas. As an initial look at device feasibility, the present new TE system adopted the loop thermosyphon as a cooling heat exchanger. The TE system with loop thermosyphon was investigated in terms of working fluids, instability of system, amount of working fluid, and so on. Basically, the present experimental works have been focused on finding the optimum working condition of the system to improve thermoelectric power output and to obtain stable power generation to operate hybrid vehicles. The present experimental results with the loop thermosyphon TE module shows possibilities as an improved TE system for future thermoelectric hybrid vehicles.

태양열을 이용한 흡수식 냉방시스템의 시뮬레이션과 운전조건의 검토 (Simulation of Solar/Absorption Cooling Hybrid System and Examination of Its Operating Condition)

  • Solar/absorption cooling system was analyzed and its operating condition was examined. For the system, the optimum size of absorption refrigerator and collector area should be determined. As the temperature of water supplied to the generator increases, the collector efficiency decreases whereas the coefficient of performance of absorption refrigerator increases up to a certain point, and vice versa for decreasing of the temperature of water supplied to the generator . Thus if the reeling load is given, the appropriate operating condition can be determined between the two opposing trends by simulation program. As an example of the simulation, the case of Jejudo province was studied. Under the conditions (such as weather data and prices of components, etc.) given en the sample calculation, the result shows that the optimum temperature of water supplied to the generator turned out to be $80.3^{\circ}C$, and still shows a large economical disadvantage in present stage compared to the case of conventional vapor compression cooling/heating combined heat pump system.

  • 본 논문에서는 건물통합형 태양광 발전 시스템의 전기적 열적 성능을 얻기 위해 하이브리드 PV/T 모듈을 제시한다. 건물 외벽에 부착하는 BIPV 시스템은 태양광 발전 시 온도상승으로 인하여 시스템의 효율이 떨어진다. 이러한 문제점의 해결과 BIPV 시스템의 효율을 향상시키기 위해 수냉방식을 적용시키고 발생된 열은 온수 시스템에 사용된다. 수냉 냉각방식은 전력손실과 물의 온도를 고려한 유량제어 알고리즘을 이용하고 실증연구를 통하여 제시한 하이브리드 PV/T 모듈의 전기적 열적 성능을 확인하여 본 논문의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • This paper proposes photovoltaic thermal hybrid module to get the electrical and Thermal performance of building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system. BIPV system is decreased the system efficiency because output of PV is decreased by the thermal rising on generating. In order to improve the efficiency of BIPV module, water cooling system is applied and generated thermal is used the warm water system. Water cooling system uses the flux control algorithm considering water temperature and power loss. Electrical and thermal performance of proposed photovoltaic thermal hybrid module is confirmed through the actual experiment and herby proved the valid of this paper.

실증 실험을 통한 하이브리드 제습냉방 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Hybrid Desiccant Chiller Based on Field Test)

  • 2011년 7월과 8월에 걸쳐 하이브리드 제습냉방기의 실증 실험를 진행하였다. 계측 자료들은 인터넷 회선을 통해 원격 모니터링을 하며 및 취득하였다. 취득한 자료를 바탕으로 하여 하이브리드 제습냉방시스템의 실거주 환경에서 외기조건에 따른 성능을 분석하였다. 또한 실증실험에서 나타난 외기 조건에 대해 성능 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 실험값과 비교하였다. 실험과 시뮬레이션 결과는 대체로 일치하였다. 외기습도가 높은 경우 예측결과와 같이 실증 실험에서도 시스템 성능이 감소하는 것이 확인되었다.

  • The importance of the more efficient cogeneration system is emphasized. Also the more clean energy is needed at recent energy system. The cogeneration system using Lean burn engine is more preferred to the system using Rich burn engine because of the electrical efficiency. Although the cogeneration system using Lean burn engine is economically preferred, because of the NOx emission level, the system using Rich burn engine with 3-way catalyst can only be used in Korea. The NOx regulation level is 50ppm at oxygen level 13%. The cogeneration hybrid system is consist of Lean burn gas engine, afterburner, boiler, economizer, DeNOx catalyst, combustion catalyst, absorption chiller, cooling tower and grid connection system. The system was accurately evaluated and the result is following ; 90% total efficiency, below 10ppm NOx, 50ppm CO, 25ppm UHC. The cogeneration hybrid system can meet the NOx level and exhaust gas regulation. It can achieve the clean combustion gas and efficient cogeneration system.

  • Efforts have been made to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from ships by limiting the energy efficiency index, and net zero CO2 emission was proposed recently. The most ideal measure to achieve zero emission ship is electrification, and fuel cells are considered as a practical power source of the electrified propulsion system. The electric efficiency in the electrochemical reaction of fuel cells can be achieved up to 60% practically. The remaining energy is converted to heat energy but most of them are dissipated by cooling. In the author's previous research, a hybrid propulsion system utilizing not only electricity but also heat was introduced by combining electric motor and steam turbine. In this article, long term efficiency is evaluated for the introduced hybrid propulsion system by considering a virtual 24,000 TEU class container carrier model. To reflect a more practical operating condition, the actual navigation data of a similar real ship in the real world were collected from automatic identification system data and applied. From the result, the overall efficiency of the hybrid propulsion system is expected to be higher than a conventional electric propulsion fuel cell ship by 30%.

  • 하이브리드 자동차 및 전기 자동차(하이브리드 및 전기자동차)용 배터리 팩은 고용량 대면적 셀을 적용하기 때문에 배터리 셀의 평균 온도는 중요한 관리 기준이 된다. 최근에는, 배터리 충전시간을 줄이기 위한 고속 충전 기술이 요구되고 있으며, 이에 따른 셀과 전장부품의 발열로 인해 배터리 팩 성능 및 수명의 저하가 발생한다. 따라서, 고속 충전에 따른 배터리 팩의 성능저하를 방지하기 위해 효과적인 배터리 냉각시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 파우치형 고속 충전용 배터리 셀 적용 냉각시스템 및 모듈 설계를 도출하고 배터리의 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 냉각성능을 분석하였다. 베이퍼챔버 냉각시스템을 적용한 모듈의 온도 편차 분석 결과 모듈 내 온도 편차는 5.82 ℃로 기존 알루미늄 냉각판 대비 낮은 온도를 보여 우수한 냉각시스템 효과를 보였다.
