  • This paper presents energy efficiency about an electrolyser which is related with the hybrid system of solar cell and fuel cell for using the system more fully. The water electrolyser is the exact reverse of a hydrogen fuel cell; it produces gaseous hydrogen and oxygen from water. Electrolyser technology may be implemented at a variety of scales wherever there is an electricity supply to provide hydrogen and/or oxygen for virtually any requirement. Also, this paper shows optimum operating point in the electrolyser for saving cost of the electrical energy with hybrid system.

  • In the coming 21st centuries, words of development of information communication technology among the key words being emerged as an important concern have been talked about frequently and ubiquitous environment that helps human living being networked with humans, objects and environments has been rapidly progressed, influencing significantly over the various fields as well as architectural area. And eventually in this architectural area, the space that is desired to be shown to and experienced by the people could be found in the creation of a space in a new form that has not been existed in this world by utilizing the information communication technology. The future housing delicately add using technology and AR system which is an essential element. The purpose of this study is to production and using each element and develop one-step advanced the hybrid system space. We have to select the best way of the construction future housing.

  • The paper proposes a hybrid fire fighting control intelligent system(H-FFIS) using rules and cases to detect fire in Integrated Platform Management System. By far most conventional systems have been based on rule-based system in which expert knowledges are expressed with production rules. It is hard to express the knowledges to detect fire with production rules only. The knowledges of fire detection are often based on previously encountered situations of fires. For improvement of system capability renewing and adding of rules is needed in an already build-up system and such adding and renewing procedures could hinder users from fluent utilization of the system. We design and implement H-FFIS. Compared with rule-based FFIS(Fire Fighting control Intelligent System), H-FFIS extended with case-based reasoning shows that the system proposed here can lead to an improvement in fire detection rate.

Neutronic investigation of waste transmutation option without partitioning and transmutation in a fusion-fission hybrid system

  • A feasibility of reusing option of spent nuclear fuel in a fusion-fission hybrid system without partitioning was checked as an alternative option of pyro-processing with critical reactor system. Neutronic study was performed with MCNP 6.1 for this option, direct reuse of spent PWR fuel (DRUP). Various options with DRUP fuel were compared with the reference design concept; transmutation purpose blanket with (U-TRU)Zr fuel loading connected with pyro-processing. Performance parameters to be compared are transmutation performance of transuranic (TRU) nuclides, required fusion power and tritium breeding ratio (TBR). When blanket part is loaded only with DRUP, initial $k_{eff}$ level becomes too low to maintain a practical subcritical system, increasing the required fusion power. In this case, production rate of TRU nuclides exceeds the incineration rate. Design optimization is done for combining DRUP fuel with (U-TRU)Zr fuel. Reactivity swing is reduced to about 2447 pcm through fissile breeding compared to (U-TRU)Zr fuel option. Therefore, a required fusion power is reduced and tritium breeding performance is improved. However, transmutation performance with TRU nuclides especially $^{241}Am$ is degraded because of softening effect of spectrum. It is known that partitioning and transmutation should be accompanied with fusion-fission hybrid system for the effective transmutation of TRU.

  • The purpose of this study is an attempt to improve the functionality of a conventional Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process using the Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) to perform multimaterial production and post-processing. Hybrid-FDM means a fusion of an Additive Manufacturing process and grinding process using the ATC system. In order to enhance the potentiality of production capacity for multi-material fabrication and surface roughness improvement, two extrusion tools and one grinding tool system are suggested. A pneumatic chuck is attached on a moving platform in the XY axes plane and an extrusion head and grinding head are placed in a docking station, allowing for a quick changeover with each other. Therefore, the manufacturing lead time can be reduced efficiently for the fabrication of a product.

  • A CIM implementation case is introduced in this paper. It is accomplished through the integration of two fundamental approaches to production planning and control; JIT and MRP. The resultant system is a hybrid where some JIT methodologies prevail, but the benefits of the MRP are also required. A new BOM structure called 'Family-BOM' is designed for the load leveled production with small lot size and the synchronized production. The overall production planning concept is described with actual data.

  • Geothermal water at moderate temperature in a range between 30 to $50^{\circ}C$ exists sparse in surroundings. Mostly they are utilized as heat or water source at spar zones in Korea. However, a large portion of used water is discarded due to its poor recovery quality and inferior application technologies. In this research, an innovative heat pump system based on the hybrid concept that combinate compression cycle and absorption cycle was investigated mathematically. The hybrid heat pump aims to recycle various kind of the heat sources at moderate temperature including geothermal water effectively. The prime objective of the simulation is to design a compression/absorption hybrid heat pump system which can make high temperature above the level of $90^{\circ}C$ and low temperature of $20^{\circ}C$ as well at the same using $50^{\circ}C$ geothermal heat water. As a result, primitive data was provided as a basis to design a prototype 3 RT class hybrid heat pump.

  • The necessity of using rapid prototyping(RP) for short-run manufacturing is continuously driving a development of a cost-effective technique that will produce completely-finished quality parts in a very short time. To meet these demands, the improvements in production speed, accuracy, materials, aid cost are crucial. Thus, a new hybrid-RP system performing both deposition and machining in a station is proposed. For the new hybrid RP process to maintain the same degree of process automation as in currently available processes like SLA or FDNI, a sophisticated process planning system is developed. In the process planner, CAD models(STEP AP203) are partitioned into 3D manufacturable volumes called 'Ueposition feature segment"(DFS) after machining features called "machining feature segmenf'(MFS) are extracted from the initial CAD model. Once MFS and DFS are identified, the process planner arranges them into a chain of processes and automatically generates machining information for each DFS and MFS. The goal of this paper is to present a framework for a process planning system for hybrid RP processes and to outline the geometric algorithms involved in developing such an environment.

  • There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. There use many production management systems for increasing productivity, minimizing inventory, keeping due dates and maximizing use of resources. MRP, GT and JIT are popular among these systems. In this study, we had designed mixed production system which integrated searching and grouping function of GT, purchasing function of JIT and based on MRP and developed related algorithms and applied systems. The developed system was based on appling renewed algorithms for existing MRP system. To test efficiency operated real-data but we have tested renewed algorithms using sample-data because of massive real-data.

Stabilization of ship's heading in AIS of fishing vessel by a hybrid GPS/EM compass (어선 AIS에서의 하이브리드 GPS/EM 컴퍼스에 의한 선수방위 안정화)

  • The ship's heading information of hybrid GPS/EM compass were applied to the AIS of fishing vessel and examined the possibility of accuracy improvement. It is observed 453 each in AIS receiver of land among 3,982 each in AIS Rx/Tx transponder of the test ship at sea, and transmission interval according to the speed of ship is determined the 11.4% good transmitting data of the all information. In results, maximum compass error for the ship's heading of an EM compass was $19.1^{\circ}$. The variance of ship's heading owing to the speed of ship is surveyed. The COG (Course Over Ground) was changed extremely in $180^{\circ}W-179^{\circ}E$ range under 4.9knots, and in $24^{\circ}W-23^{\circ}E$ range over 4.9knots. Finally, using the ship's heading of EM compass and the COG from GPS for the autopilot system of a small fishing boat and the ship's heading information of AIS results in danger on the own ship's navigation safety and leads to make confusion both the others and VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) center. Therefore, the hybrid GPS/EM compass is identified as the best system for a small fishing boat and is allowed to offer continuously a ship's heading information with high accuracy and stability.
