가축에 있어서 X-정자와 Y-정자의 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Separation of X- and Y- Spermatozoa in Farm Animals)

  • This experiment was carried out to clarify the methods of the F-body test in human and the B-body test in buil and hog. The effect of pH and albumin concentration on the migration of X- and Y- sperm was also investigated. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. In the human semen, the frequency of sperm in which an F-body is visible was different by the fluorochrome. Namely, in case of quinacrine mustard, the F-body frequency was 48.8∼43.4 percent (average 49.6%), and in case of quinacrine dihydrochloride, that was 40.7∼50.8 percent (average 42.0%). 2. The frequency of a, pp.rance of B-body was 43.4${\pm}$1.3 percent in bull semen, and 45.5${\pm}$0.7 percent in hog semen. 3. A, pp.arance of B-body in bovine semen was increased due to duration of time after washing till 12 hours. 4. Separation of X- and Y- spermatozoa using diluents with different hydrogen ion concentration was impossible. 5. A, pp.arance of B-body separated in medium with 6, 10 and 20% ovalbumin was 51.1${\pm}$2.4, 50.6${\pm}$2.5 and 58.2${\pm}$3.0 percent, respectively, and those values were significiantly higher (p<0.01) than corresponding control values.

인체 상 위치를 고려한 다양한 WBAN 안테나 설계 (Design of Various WBAN Antennas Considering for the Location on a Human Body)

  • WBAN은 다양한 응용 가능성 때문에 최근 들어 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기기의 위치에 따른 WBAN 통신 환경에 적합한 몇 가지 안테나와 모의 인체 제작에 대하여 소개하고자 한다. WBAN 시스템은 인체 내부 및 인체 표면에서 동작하므로 고유전율 및 고도전율을 갖는 인체 매질에 대한 영향을 고려해야 하며, 특히 안테나는 근역장 매질 특성에 따라 안테나의 방사 특성 및 반사 손실 특성이 변하게 되므로, 이를 고려한 안테나 설계가 요구된다. 또한, 안테나의 인체 영향을 고려하기 위해 모의 인체를 이용해 안테나를 설계하고 측정하였다. 서론에서는 WBAN 통신 채널의 분류를 소개하고, 각각의 통신 채널에 적합한 안테나의 특성에 대해 간단히 언급하였다. 제안된 몇 가지 안테나 사례 및 모의 인체 구현에 대하여 논의하였다. 결론에서는 안테나 설계 시 고려해야 할 사항과 향후 연구에 대해 언급하였다.

  • Nei Ching referred to as a canon of Chinese medicine is a comprehensive life philosophy that applied the life principle of the universe to the human body to combine the philosophical concept with the human nature as well as the functions of the body's organs. The book formed a complete system of a Qi Philosophy by using the medical terminology and theory based on the concept of Qi. It is remarkable that the Qi philosophy of Chang Tsai, who is a Neo-Confucianist and representative scholar of Qi philosophy in the era of Song Dynasty, has been influenced by the Qi philosophy in Nei Ching and developed into a Confucian school Furthermore, Chang Tsai's theory, in effect, impacted upon the rise of Qi Determination of the Human Nature in Medicine of Zhang Jie Bin who is a profound thinker in the era of Ming dynasty. As mentioned above, both traditional philosophy and medical philosophy in china in regard to Qi Theory have interacted and developed each other. This paper is to make a comparative study of the Qi Determination of the Human Nature proposed by Chang Tsai and Zhang Jie Bin and to trace the orgin of the Qi Determination of Human Nature.

Effects of Caloric Restriction on Endocrine Functions and Body Fat Distribution in Overweight Premenopausal Women, Related to their UCP3 (Uncoupling Protein 3) Genotypes

  • A mutation in the promoter region of uncoupling protein 3 (UCF3), specifically the -55C longrightarrow T transition, may influence an individual's energy metabolism and body weight. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of a weight reduction program on endocrine functions and body fat distribution, related to UCP3 promoter genotype. Ninety overweight pre-menopausal female subjects participated in the weight reduction program at Yonsei University Hospital, and were placed on a calorie-restricted diet (300 kcal less than their daily requirements) for 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, all subjects on the program lost approximately 5% of their initial body weights and had lower Body Mass Index (BMI) values. Among the 90 women, 56 had a normal (without mutation) UCP3 genotype, while 34 women had mutations in the promoter region of UCP3. Despite similar weight reductions in both groups, a significantly higher decrease in abdominal adipose tissue was observed in the normal UCP3 genotype group, compared to the group with mutations. In particular, there was a significant reduction of fat at the lumbar 1 (Ll) level in the without-mutation group. Serum levels of total cholesterol, apolipoprotein Al were significantly decreased in the without-mutation group, by 4.4% and 5.7% respectively. Serum levels of hormones were not significantly changed in both groups artier the intervention. However, in the group without the mutations, the leptin level significantly reduced by 23.4% (p<0.001). Serum free fatty acid (FFA) concentration was significantly increased in the group with mutation following the weight reduction program. On the other hand, FFA responses were shown similar increases in both groups. In conclusion, although no difference was found in the magnitude of weight reduction in both groups, there were significant differences in body fat distribution and in endocrine function between the groups.

마이크로 버블과 LED조명을 이용한 고령자용 반신욕조 시스템 인체영향 평가 (Evaluation of Human-body Effect on Half Body Bathing System Using Micro Bubble and LED Lighting for the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 고령자를 대상으로 마이크로 버블과 LED 조명을 이용하여 반신욕 시 인체의 변화를 평가하였다. 피험자는 남성 고령자 6명과 여성 고령자 7명을 대상으로 마이크로 버블을 이용하는 그룹(남성 3명, 여성 4명)과 마이크로 버블을 이용하지 않는 그룹(남성 3명, 여성 3명)으로 나누었다. 실험은 LED 조명의 색상을 달리하여 4회 진행하였다. 실험 결과 교감 신경에 비하여 부교감 신경의 활성화를 보였으며(마이크로 버블을 이용 한 반신욕 : 21.41%), 빨간색 조명과 마이크로 버블을 이용한 반신욕에서 $5.93^{\circ}C$로 체열의 가장 큰 증가를 보였다. 본 결과는 마이크로 버블과 LED 조명이 반신욕 시스템에 활용될 거라 사료된다.

극초단파치료기를 사용하는 물리치료실의 환경이 물리치료사의 인체자율신경계에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Physical Therapy Treatment Room Environment Using Microwave Diathermy on the Autonomic Nervous System of Human Body)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the physical therapy treatment room environment using microwave diathermy on the autonomic nervous system of human body. METHODS: Participants were 24 healthy adults. Standard deviation of all normal R-R intervals(SDNN), root mean square of successive differences(RMSSD), low frequency(LF), high frequency(HF), LF/HF ratio were compared in microwave irradiation and non-irradiation group. Data were analyzed in Wilcoxon's signed-ranks test and Mann-Whitney U test. RESULTS: Standard deviation of all normal R-R intervals (SDNN), root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD), low frequency(LF), high frequency(HF), LF/HF ratio were not significantly different in microwave irradiation group. Standard deviation of all normal R-R intervals(SDNN), root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD), low frequency(LF), high frequency(HF), LF/HF ratio were not significantly different in microwave non-irradiation group. Standard deviation of all normal R-R intervals(SDNN), root mean square of successive differences (RMSSD), low frequency(LF), high frequency(HF), LF/HF ratio were not significantly different between two groups. CONCLUSION: There was no significant change in the sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system regardless of the presence of microwave irradiation. There was no significant change in the autonomic nervous system adaptability regardless of the presence of microwave irradiation.According to this study, microwave diathermy does not have significant effect on the autonomic nervous system.Future study is necessary to investigate the long term effect of the physical therapy treatment room environment using microwave diathermy on the autonomic nervous system of the human body.

체형유형에 따른 의복의 착의 공간 형상 변화 (Out-line Space-shape Variation of Clothing Fitness with Somatotype)

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc.. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with somato type by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results were obtained three somato type. Also I made skirts in order to analyzed to the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The effect of somato type on the shape of flare skirts was determined by the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. Results for flare skirts show changes in amplitude and mean with fabrics, somato type. therefore gray-level histogram are correlated with changes out-line space-shape, differences in drape spacing and related fabric properties and their somato type.   • IR classified by wavelength three parts NIR, MIR. FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-14m. The Sun's ray is composed of Infared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(60%), IR(20%), and UV(20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time, in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FIR had been begun to use making products. FIR with low temperature can deeply penetrate on the human body composed things without troublesome, since FIR has effectively operated on the human body at low temperature (35-40 $^{\circ}$C). In this study, we experimented in the specific temperature FlR radiation intensity. water consumption rate, feed consumption rate. survival rate and mean of weight balance with FlR radiation instrument. According to the results, the FlR radiation to the mice assisted to increase the survival rate.

임신토끼에 있어서 새로운 Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor(YHB6211)의 배.태자 발생독성평가 (Developmental Toxicity Study in the Embryos/Fetuses with a Recombinant Human Granulocyte Colony-Stimulating Factor (YHB6211) in Pregnant Rabbits)

  • YHB6211, a newly developed recombinant human granulocyte colonystimulating factor, was administered at dose levels of 0, 3, 15, and 75 $\mu$g/kg/day intravenously to the pregnant New Zealand White rabbits (20 rabbits per group) during the organogenetic period, days 6 to 18 of gestation. All dams were subjected to Caesarian section on day 28 of gestation and their fetuses were examined for external, visceral, and skeletal abnormalities. No abnormalities in clinical signs, body weight changes, gross findings, mortality, and external appearance were found in all dams and fetuses exposed to 0, 3, and 15 $\mu$g/kg/day of YHB6211. However, in the group treated with 75 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg/day of YHB6211, maternal body and uterine weights, fetal body weights and length, and the number of live fetuses were significantly decreased and further fetal mortality was remarkably increased. It is suggested that YHB6211 may have no side effect up to the dose level of 15 $\mu$g/kg/day, and there would be no teratogenicity for fetuses of rabbits up to 75 $\mu\textrm{g}$/kg/day even if it may have some toxic effects over 75$\mu\textrm{g}$/kg/day for dams and fetuses of rabbits.

  • Keeping in step with four seasons, Spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the heaven and earth(天地) has been born(生), grown(長), coverted(化), gained(收), and kept(藏) by interaction of yiyang and yuqi(五氣: 木火土金水). And according to Naiching, human being is born with energy of heaven and earth(天地之氣) and is grown with the law of four seasons(四時之法). So, we now know that the human's body and nature interact each other. The oriental medical science has been studied the effect that the nature's change influences on human body. Now, I get some idea that using herb medicine and acupuncture should have hanged following the change of four seasons. We know that there is a cycle in nature. Every day sun arise and down, and every month moon gets full and new. And every year, four seasons orderly change, from spring to winter. All of this is the law of nature and human body adapts this law. Man always shows the physiological phenomena which changes under the law of nature, especially the turning of the seasons. Therefore, we should use different medical methods in different seasons.
