Financial planning in the United States has evolved since 1980 from a field comprised of specialists, such as insurance agents, bankers, accountants, and stock brokers, offering particular services to clients, to the situation today, where most professionals offering financial services to households market themselves as comprehensive financial planners. The breadth of knowledge required for financial planning can be seen in the 106 topics covered by the Certified Financial Planner(CFP) Exam. This study reviews the actual conditions of financial planning in the U.S. including suppliers of financial services to household, the philosophy of financial planning, and the financial planning process as described by the CFP Board. Also, this study discusses related research about problems and challenges faced by households in financial planning in the U.S.

Human Resource Management (HRM) performs numerous activities in organizations including employee recruitment, selection, placement, job analysis, training and development, and labor relations. POSCO (Pohang Steel Company) has concerned with employee management related to job placement and analysis among these activities because of the problems of over-complexity of placement precedures for the variety of recruits, the frequency of selection, a large amount of job descriptions / specifications, and their changes. This study, as a phase of developing the entire HRM systems in the organization, briefly summarizes the preliminary information related and describes an implementation of expert system as a means for effective job placement based on the principle of right-person-in-right-place with identifying aptitudes and personalities of employees. Thus, a new approach for developing a job description/specification using a formal specification language like Z is also proposed. The result of this study will cultivate the performance of personnel, prevent conflicts between labor and management, promote overall productivity of organization, as well as helpfully verify job analysis.

This study examines how experience diversity of chief technology officer (CTO) drives radical innovation of the firm, and the moderation effect of group attributes of top management team. Using data of 148 firms in U.S. manufacturing industries, this study finds that a CTO's diverse functional experience increases a firm radicalness, and diverse industrial experience also increases the radicalness. This study also examined the moderating effect of top management team (TMT) characteristics such as TMT size, TMT tenure, and gender composition in TMT. The positive relationship of CTO knowledge diversity and firm radicalness is weakened as TMT size or TMT tenure increased while the relationship is strengthened as gender diversity in TMT increased. These results of the analysis of firm-level radicalness provide implications for both academics and practitioners.

본 논문에서는 워크플로우 기반 인적 자원의 소속성 분석을 위한 업무-수행자 이분 행렬 생성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 워크플로우 기반 인적 자원은 워크플로우 관리 시스템에 의해 관리되는 조직의 모든 수행자들을 말하며, 워크플로우 모델의 실행 과정에서 특정 업무 집합에 참여하게 된다. 이러한 워크플로우 모델에 정의된 수행자들과 업무들과의 소속성을 나타내는 소셜 네트워크를 업무-수행자 소속성 네트워크라 정의하였으며, 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 워크플로우 모델로부터 발견된 업무-수행자 소속성 네트워크 모델(APANM)에 대한 이분 행렬을 생성하기 위한 알고리즘이다. 결론적으로, 알고리즘에 의해 생성된 업무-수행자 이분 행렬은 중심성(centrality), 밀집도(density), 상관 관계(correlation)와 같은 다양한 소셜 네트워크 관련 속성들을 분석하는데 적용될 수 있으며, 이를 통해 워크플로우 기반 인적 자원의 소속성에 대한 유용한 지식을 획득할 수 있다.

The international government committee is progressing their agreements about intellectual property protection of traditional knowledge(TK), gene resource(GR), folklore(FL) in WIPO. It is in the course of selection with precedence of TK, GR, FL in WIPO, focused on discussions about listing of TK documents, standardization of DB construction, sharing and profit distribution of GR. There are disagreements between developed countries and developing countries about intellectual property protection agreements of TK, GR. The developed countries insist on using the existing intellectual property protection, but the developing countries ask new ones on character of TK, GR. It causes intangible assets to be valuable trade properties in future world trade. This research Groped for a summary program about intellectual property protection of traditional knowledge(TK) etc. debating in WIPO. This program confirms that such as TK, GR etc. not only to be the cultural property accumulated in human history, but also to be the original resource may be using at present. Therefore, we suggest that the focus of discussion should transfer to UNESCO instead of WIPO which only deal with the intellectual property protection. Besides, the main body which protecting and supporting TK should become its holding organization so as to achieve more effective management about it. In order to protect and support TK, the government should have firstly the recognition that TK is the property belongs to the country. By this viewpoint, it needs to setup DB through overall excavation of the unofficial knowledges in order to protect and support these TK, GR. Because the positive dealing with those WIPO's discussion means to support our TK, GR, so there should have some reorganization about existing related ones, and also needs systemic supporting policies & management' system.

This study was carried out to examine the tendency about the relative importance of STS education of the 6th and 7th primary science curriculum. The results of the research are as follows. Primary science textbooks in the 6th curriculum, average 13.3% of the total pages was assigned to STS contents but it is increased to 24.2% in the science textbooks of the 7th curriculum. STS constituents of the 6th primary science textbooks come out orderly applications of scientific knowledge(47.1%), relevance of a community(40%), social problems and issues(11.8%). Of the 7th science textbooks, the contents about applications of scientific knowledge amount to 67.1% of the total STS constituent and relevance of a community(32.2%) rank behind it. The contents of other components are not enough. The 6th science textbooks contents about the effect of technological development amount to 35.3% of the total STS subject area, and environmental quality(20.0%), natural resource(15.2%), energy(11.8%), sociology of science(11.8%) ranks behind it. In the 7th science textbooks ranking is the effect of technological development(42.3%), natural resource(17.3%), energy(12.5%), sociology of science(12.5%), environmental quality(20.0%). There are few contents about population, human engineering and space research and national defense in the science textbooks.

2010년 STCW 마닐라 수정안은 항해사에게 선교자원관리에 대한 지식 및 기능에 관한 해기능력을 강제적인 사항으로 포함하고 있다. 본 연구는 선교자원관리의 관점에서 STCW 2010 개정안에 토대를 둔 국내 교육 프로그램의 적절한 방향을 제안한다. 선교자원관리 프로그램과 관련하여 그 내용 및 교육방법이 국내 교육프로그램에 대한 설문조사를 통하여 분석되었다. 그 결과로서 본 연구는 현재의 선교자원관리 교육 프로그램을 개선하기 위한 몇 가지 제안을 한다.

지식, 기술, 정보가 경쟁력의 원천이 되는 산업 발전의 변화추세에 따라 세계 각국은 일-교육$\cdot$훈련-자격의 긴밀한 연계체제인 국가직업능력표준을 통해 국가 인적자원 개발 시스템을 개선해 나아가고 있다 우리나라에서도 노$\cdot$사$\cdot$정 합의에 의해 2002년부터 전 산업분야에 적용될 국가직업능력표준이 개발되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이렇게 개발된 국가직업능력표준을 이용하여 우리나라 기능대학/전문대학의 컴퓨터 응용기계설계과에서 활용할 수 있는 교육과정과 교재개발방안을 개발하여 제시한다.

Intellectual capital is becoming a crucial factor for a firm's long-term profit and performance in the knowledge-based economy as more firms identify their core competence as invisible assets rather than visible assets (Itami, 1987). The company was encouraged to measure financial and non-financial factors, including the customer perspective groups, the internal business process, learning and growth perspective, then to link all these measurements in a coherent system. This paper seeks to investigate the influence of intellectual capital elements on company performance, as well as the relationship among intellectual capital elements from a cause-effect perspective. Resource-Based View (RBV) considers intellectual capital as resource and capability to sustain competitive advantage on company performance. The partial least squares approach is used to examine listed banks in Indonesia Stock Exchange for year 2017-2019. Results show that human capital directly has positive influences on innovation capital, customer capital, and process capital. Innovation capital has positive, but less significant influence on process capital, which in turn influences customer capital. Human capital and process capital also influence customer capital. Finally, customer capital contributes to performance. This study helps management to identify relevant intellectual capital elements as competitive advantage and their indicators to enhance business performance.

교육인적자원부에서는 지식기반사회에서 요구하는 자율적이고 창의적인 인재를 육성하고, 제7차 교육과정을 구현하는데 있어서 학교도서관이 필수적이라는 인식 하에 "학교도서관 디지털자료실" 시범 구축사업을 추진하고 있다. 학교도서관 디지털자료실을 효과적으로 설치하고 교육적 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 시범 운영중인 디지털자료실의 운영 실태와 교육적 효과를 분석함으로써 향후 개선 및 발전 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다 이에 본 연구는 2001년도에 설치된 96개의 학교도서관 디지털자료실을 대상으로 운영 실태와 교육적 효과를 분석함으로써 초.중등학교의 도서관정보화 사업을 효율적으로 추진할 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 마련하고자 한다.
