This paper introduces a method for extracting subtitles from lecture videos through a Korean morpheme analyzer and classifying video categories according to the extracted morpheme information. In some cases incorrect information is entered due to human error and reflected in the characteristics of the items, affecting the accuracy of the recommendation system. To prevent this, we generate a keyword table for each category using morpheme information extracted from pre-classified videos, and compare the similarity of morpheme in each category keyword table to classify categories of Lecture videos using the most similar keyword table. These human intervention reduction systems directly classify videos and aim to increase the accuracy of the system.

In order to experiment the acoustic remote classification of seabed sediment, we achieved ground-truth data(i.e. video and grab samples, etc.) and developed post-processing for automatic classification procedure on the basis of 300 kHz MultiBeam Echo Sounder(MBES) backscattering data, which was acquired using KONGBERG Simrad EM3000 at Sock-Cho Port, East Sea of South Korea. Sonar signal and its classification performance were identified with geo-referenced video imagery with the aid of GIS (Geographic Information System). The depth range of research site was from 5 m to 22.7 m, and the backscattering amplitude showed from -36dB to -15dB. The mean grain sizes of sediment from equi-distanced sampling site(50 m interval) varied from 2.86$(\phi)$ to 0.88(\phi). To acquire the main feature for the seabed classification from backscattering amplitude of MBES, we evaluated the correlation factors between the backscattering amplitude and properties of sediment samples. The performance of seabed remote classification proposed was evaluated with comparing the correlation of human expert segmentation to automatic algorithm results. The cross-model perception error ratio on automatic classification algorithm shows 8.95% at rocky bottoms, and 2.06% at the area representing low mean grain size.
The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing management case simulation (NMCS) framework based on the five components of nursing management process and to apply it to clinical nursing practice of nursing college students. The subjects of this study were NMCS reports submitted by the 4th grade 105 nursing students of an university. The research tool is a simulation framework for nursing management practice. It reflects the brainstorming and debriefing process used in the previous simulation exercise based on the five elements of planning, organization, human resource management, directing and control of the nursing management process respectively. As a result of the study, 32 nursing management cases were found to have 79.6% correct rate, 11.6% concept error rate, and 5.6% classification error rate in the first brainstorming and debriefing process for the five components of nursing management process. On the other hand, in the second brainstorming and debriefing process, 94.6% correct rate, 0.0% concept error rate, and 4.4% classification error rate. Based on these results, the NMCS framework developed in this study can be applied to the nursing management theory and practice course of nursing college students as well as simulation based job training and maintenance educations for clinical nurses. Therefore, we propose follow-up studies in various clinical nursing settings and a longitudinal cohort study to investigate the effect of nursing management job skills of nursing college students after graduation.
This paper presents the proposed a classifier of liver cirrhotic step using MR(magnetic resonance) imaging and hierarchical neural network. The data sets for classification of each stage, which were normal, 1type, 2type and 3type, were analysis in the number of data was 231. We extracted liver region and nodule region from T1-weight MR liver image. Then objective interpretation classifier of liver cirrhotic steps. Liver cirrhosis classifier implemented using hierarchical neural network which gray-level analysis and texture feature descriptors to distinguish normal liver and 3 types of liver cirrhosis. Then proposed Neural network classifier learned through error back-propagation algorithm. A classifying result shows that recognition rate of normal is $100\%$, 1type is $82.8\%$, 2type is $87.1\%$, 3type is $84.2\%$. The recognition ratio very high, when compared between the result of obtained quantified data to that of doctors decision data and neural network classifier value. If enough data is offered and other parameter is considered this paper according to we expected that neural network as well as human experts and could be useful as clinical decision support tool for liver cirrhosis patients.

It is important to select the personnel with ideal pilot aptitude considering dramatically advancing aircraft performance and complexity of military operations as a consequence to the highly developed science and technology. The opportunity cost lost from dropouts and human error being the first cause of aviation accidents are the realistic reasons for the significance of personnel selection based on their aptitude. This study analyses the ROKAF pilot aptitude test that was improved in 2004, using various classification models. This study discusses the significance of the selected variables along with the direction of ROKAF pilot aptitude test for its development in the future. The accuracy of the classification models was improved by taking into account differing personnel characteristics of individuals on the test.
In ubiquitous computing that is to build computing environments to provide proper services according to user's context, human being's emotion recognition based on facial expression is used as essential means of HCI in order to make man-machine interaction more efficient and to do user's context-awareness. This paper addresses a problem of rigidly basic emotion recognition in context-sensitive facial expressions through a new Bayesian classifier. The task for emotion recognition of facial expressions consists of two steps, where the extraction step of facial feature is based on a color-histogram method and the classification step employs a new Bayesian teaming algorithm in performing efficient training and test. New context-sensitive Bayesian learning algorithm of EADF(Extended Assumed-Density Filtering) is proposed to recognize more exact emotions as it utilizes different classifier complexities for different contexts. Experimental results show an expression classification accuracy of over 91% on the test database and achieve the error rate of 10.6% by modeling facial expression as hidden context.

O-rings fill the gaps between mechanical parts. Until now, the sorting of defective products has been performed visually and manually, so classification errors often occur. Therefore, a camera-based defect classification system without human intervention is required. However, a binarization process is required to separate the required region from the background in the camera input image. In this paper, an adaptive binarization technique that considers the surrounding pixel values is applied to solve the problem that single-threshold binarization is difficult to apply due to factors such as changes in ambient lighting or reflections. In addition, the convex hull technique is also applied to compensate for the missing pixel part. And the learning model to be applied to the separated region applies the residual error-based deep learning neural network model, which is advantageous when the defective characteristic is non-linear. It is suggested that the proposed system through experiments can be applied to the automation of O-ring defect detection.

In this paper, image compression based on neural networks is presented with block classification and coding. Multilayer neural networks with error back-propagation learning algorithm are used to transform the normalized image date into the compressed hidden values by reducing spatial redundancies. Image compression can basically be achieved with smaller number of hidden neurons than the numbers of input and output neurons. Additionally, the image blocks can be grouped for adaptive compression rates depending on the characteristics of the complexity of the blocks in accordance with the sensitivity of the human visual system(HVS). The quantized output of the hidden neuron can also be entropy coded for an efficient transmission. In computer simulation, this approach lie in the good performances even with images outside the training set and about 25:1 compression rate was achieved using the entropy coding without much degradation of the reconstructed images.

The advent of microarray technologies gives an opportunity to moni tor the expression of ten thousands of genes, simultaneously. Such microarray data can be deteriorated by experimental errors and image artifacts, which generate non-negligible outliers that are estimated by 15% of typical microarray data. Thus, it is an important issue to detect and correct the se faulty probes prior to high-level data analysis such as classification or clustering. In this paper, we propose a systematic procedure for the detection of faulty probes and its proper correction in Genechip array based on multivariate statistical approaches. Principal component analysis (PCA), one of the most widely used multivariate statistical approaches, has been applied to construct a statistical correlation model with 20 pairs of probes for each gene. And, the faulty probes are identified by inspecting the squared prediction error (SPE) of each probe from the PCA model. Then, the outlying probes are reconstructed by the iterative optimization approach minimizing SPE. We used the public data presented from the gene chip project of human fibroblast cell. Through the application study, the proposed approach showed good performance for probe correction without removing faulty probes, which may be desirable in the viewpoint of the maximum use of data information.
Quality sorting of cut flowers is very essential to increase the value of products. There are many factors that determine the quality of cut flowers such as length, thickness, and straightness of stem, and color and maturity of bud. Among these factors, the straightness of stem and the maturity of bud are generally considered to be more difficult to evaluate. A prototype grading and sorting machine for cut flowers was developed and tested for a rose variety. The machine consisted of a chain-drive feed mechanism, a pneumatic discharge system, and a grading system utilizing color image processing and neural network. Artificial neural network algorithm was utilized to grade cut roses based on the straightness of stem and maturity of bud. Test results showed 89% agreement with human expert for the straightness of stem and 90% agreement for the maturity of bud. Average processing time for evaluating straightness of the stem and maturity of the bud were 1.01 and 0.44 second, respectively. Application of neural network eliminated difficulties in determining criteria of each grade category while maintaining similar level of classification error.
