  • At least, there are intense pressures on the natural habitats from various disturbance, including urbanization, extension of industrial area, and road construction. These human land use result in fragmentation of landscape and natural habitat. The ecological consequences of habitat fragmentation include the direct effects of habitat loss and the indirect effects of reduced inter-patch dispersal. The decline of biological diversity has been rapidly declined by the habitat loss and fragmentation. Conservation strategists should consider not only the habitat amount of that must be preserved, but also the spatial configuration of habitat across the landscape. But, the paucity of available data for most species forces landscape ecologists to develop the concept, model, and theory. The developed theories are often misused in academic papers and practical applications. The development history, presumption of concept, model, theory is ignored. This tendency have leaded to failure of landscape restoration and the use of theory in conservation practice have come under increasing attacks. This paper will highlight the ecological theory that have proven the most influential in landscape ecology, restoration and conservation : the theory of island biogeography, the theory of nested subset analysis, minimum viable population(MVP), the theory of metapopulation dynamics. And, it find the problem and usefulness of four theory in application to real world. Consequently, the understanding of theoretical implication about landscape ecological theory is required. We must carefully apply the theory after examining the problem and availability of various theory because of no existence of only one general theory.

  • The rapid progress of AI technology gives us the expectation to solutions to various problems in our society, and at the same time, it gives us anxiety about the side effects that can occur if AI develops beyond human control. This study was conducted in the early 20s with less objection to advanced devices. We attempted to provide clues to understand thoughts and attitudes of the targets about the future environment that will be brought by AI through the process of finding intent the acceptance of strong AI technology. For this, we applied the Theory of Planned Behavior, and further expanded this research model to identify factors affecting the attitude toward AI. As a result, the attitude toward AI and perceived behavioral control had a significant effect on the intention to use to strong AI. In addition, we found that the expectation of the benefit of improving task performance and the anxiety on the threat of relationship disturbance had a significant effect on the attitude toward AI. This study suggests implications for AI-related companies establishing the direction of technology development and for government setting a policy direction for AI adoption.

  • Background: Beedi rollers are exposed to unburnt tobacco dust through cutaneous and pharyngeal route and it is extremely harmful to the body since it is carcinogenic in nature and can cause cancer during long exposure. This indicates that occupational exposure to tobacco imposes considerable genotoxicity among beedi workers. Materials and Methods: In the present study, 27 beedi workers and age and sex matched controls were enrolled for clinical, cytogenetics and molecular analysis. Clinical features were recorded. The workers were in the age group of 28-67 years and were workers exposure from 8-60 years. Blood samples were collected from workers and control subjects and lymphocyte cultures were carried out by using standard technique, slides were prepared and 50 metaphases were scored for each sample to find the chromosomal abnormalities. For molecular analysis the genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood, to screen the variations in gene, the exon 1 of CYP1A1 gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and then screened with Single Strand Conformation Polymorphism (SSCP) analysis. Results: A statistically significant increase was observed in the frequencies of chromosomal aberrations in exposed groups when compared to the respective controls and variations observed in Exon 1 of CYP1A1(Cytochrome P450, family 1, subfamily A, polypeptide 1) gene. Conclusions: This study shows that, the toxicants present in the beedi that enter into human body causes disturbance to normal state and behavior of the chromosomes which results in reshuffling of hereditary material causing chromosomal aberrations and genomic variations.

  • In new housing demand, proportion of occupied multi-housing is 89.9% (statistics from 2013). In this way, with many generations living together, apartment noise disputes between the neighbors are continuously rising. The apartment noise problem in Korea is at a very serious level worldwide (about 88% of the population is experiencing stress due to apartment noise). On the other hand, the government has strengthened the regulations (such as the thickness of the floor and floor impact sound reduction performance, etc.) and promoted a resolution of its own for each multi-housing estates for mediating disputes on apartment noise. However, such physical regulations and passive management policies still presents a limit to the dispute mitigation of apartment noise. Also, in order to improve the quality of life in living spaces, policy on health effects of apartment noise should be provided. Therefore, we investigated a case study of the noise exposure-human body reaction to analyze the effect of noise on health. On the basis of this, the health effects according to the exposure period of apartment noise were considered.

  • The principle purpose of this research is to figure out whether the inhalation of Wood Essential oil (Chamaecyparis obtusa) affect not only human beings' concentration for surroundings but also change as to status of feelings. total number of subjects for this experimental are determined to be 66 (men 44 and women 22) among 85 adults who agreed to participate in this experiment after excluding 19 participants who were not able to smell scent due to flu and nasal inflammation. After both experimental group and control group being measured referring to their status of mood such as concentration, depression, vigor, fatigue, confusion, tension and anger, the experimental group is offered to get a piece of cotton that includes Wood Essential oil and they are asked to inhale it for 5 min. On the other hand, control group is offered to wait for the experimental group finishing inhaling wood Essential oil for 5 min. After 5 min, the status of mood from both groups were measured again. simultaneously, I conducted a survey targeting experimental group to see what their preferences are like regarding scent of wood essential oil. The experiment shows that the status of experimental group's concentration is improved about 0.94 point when compared to control group's. Moreover, Total mood disturbance is lower than control group's. Therefore it is proved that the inhalation of wood Essential oil alleviates overall status of mood. according to the analyses result of favor to scent for wood essential oil from experimental group, some of them who were positive got much better improvement when it comes to concentration and far more relieved on their feelings than those who weren't. Based from this result, it is definitely confirmed that there is a Phytoncide's psychophysiological effect which transcends the Placebo Effect generated by Phytoncide's positive image.

  • The structure of modern society are complex, fast, overflowing of individualism and losing of independence through the standardization of human relationship. The frequency increased that children watch television and play computer game alone through this structure. Also, the mental disorder like as autism tend to be increase for childhood because, parents overprotect, unmethodical bringing up children, emotional disturbance and effect of genetic. Therefore, research and case study of art therapy publish that illustrates a tendency of developing and growing. On the base of this situation art therapy realize more important than before and gain power. Therefore, this research consider that clay therapy effect for autistic just children and investigate function of catharsis through the case study. Also, make study that social rappot and function of catharsis develop for children who has autism. The suggest effect of synergy which come from clay therapy(education of ceramic) and development of education program.

  • Recent climate change, which is mostly ascribed to anthropogenic activities, is believed to be a major factor leading to biodiversity decreases and ecosystem service deteriorations. I have reviewed recent studies on climate change effects for many ecological processes involved with plants, in order to improve our understanding of the nature of ecological complexity. Plants in general have better growth and productivity under high levels of $CO_2$, although the long term effects of such $CO_2$ fertilizers are still controversial. Over the last 30 years, the Earth has been greening, particularly at higher latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere, perhaps due to a relaxation of climatic constraints. Human appropriation of net primary productivity (NPP), which corresponds up to 1/3 of global NPP, is ultimately responsible for climate change and biodiversity decreases. Climate change causes phenological variations in plants, especially in regards to spring flowering and fall leaf coloring. Many plants migrate polewards and towards higher altitudes to seek more appropriate climates. On the other hand, tree mortality and population declines have recently been reported in many continents. Landscape disturbance not only hinders the plant migration, but also makes it difficult to predict the plants' potential habitats. Plant and animal population declines, as well as local extinctions, are largely due to the disruption of species interactions through temporal mismatching. Temperature and $CO_2$ increase rates in Korea are higher than global means. The degree of landscape disturbances is also relatively high. Furthermore, long-term data on individual species responses and species interactions are lacking or quite limited in Korea. This review emphasizes the complex nature of species responses to climate change at both global and local scales. In order to keep pace with the direction and speed of climate change, it is urgently necessary to observe and analyze the patterns of phenology, migration, and trophic interactions of plants and animals in Korea's landscape.

  • Studies on effects of human action on the destruction of ecosystems and changes in biodiversity are being processed actively from the view point of landscape ecology. This study investigated present distribution status of the naturalization plant by disturbance of natural ecosystem which could be seen on 35 rural villages in Korea. The study made a landuse map on the study area then quantified the landscape ecologic characteristic using landscape index based on this landuse map. Correlation between landscape index on the study area and distribution characteristic of naturalization plant was analyzed. The landscape index was calculated by FRAGSTATS, a spatial analysis program, and naturalization index and urbanization index were used in the distribution characteristic of naturalization plant. As a result, naturalization index and patch density, naturalization index and edge density, naturalization index and area-weighted mean shape index were shown as having positive correlation, and naturalization and core area percentage of landscape, naturalization index and mean core area were displayed as having negative correlation.
