  • While many services appear, it are performed in the various researches about a service. Among them, as to the basic reason for measuring the service level, in order to find out the strategy improving service quality. But the method for measuring quality of services up to date was unable to make it enough the role. This research tried to propose the approach systematically analyzing the human errors in order to improve service quality about the call center which utilizes the information technology. In fact, the human errors was found in the customer contact point in which the actual service is delivered. An interaction between the element for comprising call service was classified into 3 while defining the human error as 3 group. Moreover, the process where a service is delivered was classified according to 5 step and the generated error was measured in each step. The implication of this research looks at the service failure and dissatisfaction as the occurrence of the human errors and illustrates the service quality improvement as a correction or a reduction. This approach is used that service is materially easily understood and is formulated with the quality improvement strategy.

  • Antigenic potential of genetically-engineered human erythropoietin (EPO) was assessed in guinea pigs (active systemic anaphylaxis [ASA] ; passive cutaneous anaphylaxis [PCA]) and in vitro (hemagglutination test [PHA]). In ASA, EPO at 70~700 U/kg elicited a weak anaphylactic response tvhereas the positive control ovalbumin (OVA) did cause intensive responses leading to death in 40% animals. However, the extract of CHO cells, to which EPO gene was introduced, did not cause any symptom. In PCA and PHA tests, neither EPO nor CHO cell extract induced positive responses. OVA, in contrast, produced high titers in both PCA and PHA tests. It was concluded that, in light of the fact that EPO was slightly antigenic only in ASA but not in PCA or PHA and also that human EPO is a foreign protein to guinea pigs, the present EPO may not be antigenic in humans.

  • Background: The aim of this study was to screen for human papillomavirus (HPV) infections in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCCs) using P16 immunostaining. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study was performed on 150 samples from patients diagnosed with HNSCCs. HPV status was determined using $p16^{INK4A}$. Results: 31 of the 150 (20.7%) HNSCCs were HPV positive. Conclusions: A large proportion of HNSCCs in Sudan are associated with HPV infection. The fact that the prevalence of HPV is high among Sudanese patients with head and neck cancers (HNC) has obvious implications for vaccine therapy.

  • Ginkgetin was previously reported as an inhibitor of group II phospholipase A$_2$. It also inhibited in vitro arachidonate release from the activated macrophages and lymphocyte proliferation. These previous studies suggested an anti-inflammatory nature of ginkgetin, especially on chronic inflammation. In fact, ginkgetin showed potent anti-inflammatory activity against rat adjuvant-induced arthritis, a chronic inflammatory animal model, with comparable analgesic activity. In order to investigate the action mechanisms, tumor necrosis factor and interferone release were studied from human PMMC. It was found that ginkgetin clearly inhibited release of these cytoknes from human PMMC. Ginkgetin was also found to inhibit immunoglobulin M production at 1 - 10 uM. These results may contribute to antiarthritic activity of ginkgetin in vivo.

  • Studying language by the quantitative linguistic method is not a recent development. Lately however, the interest in the quantitative linguistics has increased according to the demand on communication between human and human or between human and machine. We are required to transfer the system of the natural language onto machine. This requires the study of quantitative linguistics because we are unable to seize the characters of the tiny linguistic units and their structure in an intuitive way. In fact, the quantitative linguistics treats the internal structure of the language by the relation between the linguitic units and their quantitative characters. It is natural then that there is this growing interest in quantitative linguistics. In addition, Korean linguists take interest in the quantitative linguistics, although quantitative linguistics in Korea is not advanced by the level of the statistical analysis. Therefore, this present study shows how statistics can be applied in the field of linguistics through the two texts written in French: Lovers of the Subway and Our life's A. B. C.

  • A paleoparasitological study was carried out on 2 lead coffins recovered from the Roman site of Jaunay-Clan (near Poitiers, France). For the first time, this particular type of burial gave positive parasitological results, and eggs of the whipworm Trichuris trichiura were identified in 1 individual. In the present case, thanatomorphose associated with funerary practices may explain the scarcity of the recovered eggs. However, human whipworm has now been observed in 9 individuals dated to the Roman period. The very high frequency of Trichuris sp. eggs in Roman archaeological sites (up to 80%) suggests that fecal peril, hygiene, and waste management were problematic during this period. Finally, due to the fact that very few analyses have been conducted on human bodies dated to the Roman period, more analyses must be performed in the future to provide further information about diseases in the Roman world.

  • Development of artificial intelligence is expected to revolutionize today's medicine. In fact, medicine was one of the areas to which advances in artificial intelligence technology were first applied. Recently, state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, especially deep learning technology, has been actively utilized to treat cancer patients and analyze medical image data. Application of artificial intelligence has the potential to fundamentally change various aspects of medicine, including the role of human doctors, the clinical decision-making process, and even overall healthcare systems. Facing such fundamental changes is unavoidable, and we need to prepare to effectively integrate artificial intelligence into our medical system. We should re-define the role of human doctors, and accordingly, medical education should also be altered. In this article, we will discuss the current status of artificial intelligence in medicine and how we can prepare for such changes.

  • As the artificial intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role in machine translation (MT) which has loomed large as a new translation paradigm, concerns have also arisen if MT can produce a quality product as human translation (HT) can. In fact, several MT experimental studies report cases in which the MT product called post-editing (PE) as equally as HT or often superior ([1],[2],[6]). As motivated from those studies on translation quality between HT and PE, this study set up an experimental situation in which Korean literature was translated into English, comparatively, by 3 translators and 3 post-editors. Afterwards, a group of 3 other Koreans checked for accuracy of HT and PE; a group of 3 English native speakers scored for fluency of HT and PE. The findings are (1) HT took the translation time, at least, twice longer than PE. (2) Both HT and PE produced similar error types, and Mistranslation and Omission were the major errors for accuracy and Grammar for fluency. (3) HT turned to be inferior to PE for both accuracy and fluency.

From like that cotton, this dissertation the both sides flag executed the research regarding a sound arresting reduction in the object in one example. It compared the piping structure which generally is space-time and a specific piping structure and it tested and research and the modeling regarding a sound arresting reduction the simulation which leads and it executed result and comparison of existing it analyzed. The duplication where the reduction effect is bigger the result general VG2 piping structure than escape it did with the fact that it appears the large effect the piping structure which it connects. Also, the straight pipe effect of multiple sound arresting could not go mad with the fact that.

  • Due to the fact that there are low birth rate and longer life longevity, schools have been shutting down and converted into welfare facilities. However, most of researches about utilizing closed down school are focused on case researches or architectural planning and design. Moreover, majority of existing welfare centers for the aged are not designed with the flow of human traffic in mind, which means there is no consideration of physical or psychological characteristics of elderly people. That fact leads to increasing number of shutting down welfare facilities. Therefore, this thesis will present the necessity of effective space allocation, extension and reconstruction for residents in aged care by analyzing space using index of space syntax with depth-map software.
