Recently, human attribute recognition (HAR) attracts a lot of attention due to its wide application in video surveillance systems. Recent deep-learning-based solutions for HAR require time-consuming training processes. In this paper, we propose a post-processing technique that utilizes the historical video frames to improve prediction results without invoking re-training or modifying existing deep-learning-based classifiers. Experiment results on a large-scale benchmark dataset show the effectiveness of our proposed method.

Human action recognition received many interest in the computer vision community. Most of the existing methods focus on either construct robust descriptor from the temporal domain, or computational method to exploit the discriminative power of the descriptor. In this paper we explore the idea of using local action attributes to form an action descriptor, where an action is no longer characterized with the motion changes in the temporal domain but the local semantic description of the action. We propose an novel framework where introduces local action attributes to represent an action for the final human action categorization. The local action attributes are defined for each body part which are independent from the global action. The resulting attribute descriptor is used to jointly model human action to achieve robust performance. In addition, we conduct some study on the impact of using body local and global low-level feature for the aforementioned attributes. Experiments on the KTH dataset and the MV-TJU dataset show that our local action attribute based descriptor improve action recognition performance.

The human has recognizable part of body such as a fingerprint, a crimson, a blood vessel. This part has been investigated constantly, its confidence for personal recognition is high. In spite of specialized part of human body, a lip print recognition is developed less than the other physical attribute that is a fingerprint. a voice pattern, a retinal blood-vessel pattern, or a facial recognition. This paper is to implement hardware for lip print recognition system using VHDL.

한글에서 발생하는 자소의 접촉에 의한 오인식을 해결하기 위하여, 접촉점을 중심으로 원소를 변환하여, 확장 가능한 구조를 모두 검증하고, 수락된 후보패턴에 대하여 가장 근접한 패턴 클래스로 할당하는 한글 인식방법을 제안한다. 프로그램드 배열운법을 이용하여 화소의 2차원 배열에서 입력패턴을 인식하고, PEACE(Primitive-Extraction and Attribute-Computation Embeded ) 파싱을 이용하여, 원소(primitive)의 추출과 숙성 (attribute)의 계산을 구문분석 과정에 통합하고, 전체 시스템이 동적인 구조를 갖게하여, 1차원 스트링으로의 변환에 따르는 패턴의 변형과 부가적인 노력을 억제한다.

This study aims at searching for educational quality of abstract expression from the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun'[亦君恩/ also the king's mercy] which appears frequently in the classics. I clarified that the expression can be used to mean not only eulogy and missing the king, which is a conventional phrase, but also cynicism or excuse for oneself, curative response and so forth. In other words, the symbol, 'Yeok-goon-eun', has a variety of meanings according to readers and contexts. Like the example of the expression 'Yeok-goon-eun', the expressions of the classics in itself imply deep meanings to experience. They do not correspond to contemporary words which are familiar to current readers. Thus, the expressions of the classics have to be experienced by learners. In specific, 'Yeok-goon-eun' provides the present learners with special experience such as perception and attitude about the world, relationship between the nature and human beings, and cultural practices which attribute to the other. Such perspective of experience has been focussed on that the expressions in the classics have the world of understanding and recognition which is quite different from the present beyond the side of communication and delivery. It offers significant viewpoint in relation to value and quality of classic literature education.

As life expectancy becomes longer, reduction of human muscular strength threatens quality of human life. Many robotic devices have thus been developed to support and help human daily life. This paper deals with a new type of in-wheel actuator that can be effectively used for the robotic devices. BLDC motor, drive board, brake, ARS (Attribute Reference System), and torque sensor are combined in the single actuator module. The torque sensor is used to recognize human intention and the in-wheel actuator drives walking aids in our system. Its feasibility was tested with the active walking aid device equipped with the in-wheel actuator. Based on it, we designed an admittance filter algorithm to react on uphill and downhill drive. By adjusting mass, damping, and spring parameters in accordance with the ARS output, it provided convenient drive to the old on uphill and downhill walks.

본 논문에서는 인간의 정보처리 과정에 관한 심리학적 실험에 바탕을 두고 인간이 사용하고 있는 것으로 생각되는 특징을 이용하여 이를 문자 인식에 적용하였다. 인간의 경우 화소단위의 정보뿐만 아니라 일정지역의 정보를 함께 처리하는 경향이 있다. 그러므로 일정지역에 대한 정보를 표시하는 영역 특징을 정의하고 정의된 이 영역 특징과 기존의 화소단위 특징들을 결합하였다. 사용한 특징으로는 영역 특징에 기반 한 초등 적 분석결과, 영역특징을 포함한 망 특징, 교차거리와 특징 그리고 기울기 특징들이다. 성능 평가 실험은 필기 한글자모, 숫자 그리고 대소영문자를 대상으로 하였으며, 인식기는 역전과 학습 방법을 이용한 신경망 인식기를 사용하였다. 각각의 인식 결과는 90.27∼93.25%, 98.00% 그리고 79.73∼85.75였다. 영역 특징과 유사한 UDLRH 특징을 대상으로 비교한 결과 전체적으로 1∼2% 정도 인식률 향상이 있었으며 인간이 판단하기에 보다 납득하기 쉬운 오 인식 성향을 보였다.

As the Korean cultural contents, such as drama, films, music, gained popularity in China, Korean fashion brands used Korean celebrities as their models to as a sales promotion strategy for Chinese consumers. With the point of view that the advertising model as a human capital as well, the purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of attributes of Korean celebrity advertising model, and to analyze effects on fashion brand recognition, preference, trust and purchase intention. With convenience sampling, the research surveyed Shanghai consumers in their 20's to early 30's who had purchased Korean fashion items. The 291 responses were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, The results are as follows. Frist, Korean celebrity advertising model attribute factors were divided into similarity, familiarity, popularity, attractiveness and trust. Second, the brand recognition was affected by similarity, familiarity and popularity factors, and the brand preference was affected by similarity, familiarity, popularity and attractiveness factors. Third, the trust of Korean fashion brands was affected by similarity, familiarity, attractiveness, trust, brand recognition and brand preference. Lastly, the intention to purchase Korean Fashion brand was affected by similarity, familiarity, attractiveness, brand recognition, brand preference and brand trust.

사람의 이미지를 보고 느끼는 감성인식은 환경, 개인적 성향에 따라 다양하게 변화한다. 그리하여 이미지 감성인식을 숫자로 제어하려는 감성컴퓨터 연구에 집중되고 있다. 그렇지만 기존의 감성컴퓨팅 모형은 숫자화된 객관적이고, 명확한 측정이 미흡한 상황이다. 따라서 이미지 감성인식을 감성컴퓨팅을 통해 정량화하고, 객관적인 평가 방식의 연구가 필요한 상황이다. 이에 본 논문은 이미지 감성인식을 계산 방식에 따라 숫자화한 정량화로 감성크기를 표현했다. 그리하여 이미지 감성인식의 주요한 속성인 색채를 구성인자로 적용한다. 또한 디지털 색채 감성컴퓨팅을 적용하여 계산하는데 연구의 중점을 두었다. 이미지 색채 감성컴퓨팅 연구방식은 감성속성인 색상, 명도, 채도에 중요도에 따른 가중치를 감성점수에 반영한다. 그리고 감성점수를 이미지 감성계산식에 적용하여 쾌정도(X축), 긴장도(Y축)를 숫자 방식으로 계산한다. 거기에 쾌정도(X축), 긴장도(Y축)의 교차하는 위치점을 이미지 감성좌표의 감성점으로 위치한다. 이미지 색채 감성좌표는 러셀의 핵심 효과(Core Affect)를 적용하여 16가지 주요대표감성을 기반으로 한다. 이미지 감성점은 기준의 위치에서 대표감성크기와 감성상관관계를 숫자화하고, 이미지 감성을 정량화한다. 그리하여 이미지 감성인식은 숫자 크기로 비교한다. 감성점수의 대소에 따라 감성이 변화함을 증명한다. 비교 방식은 이미지 감성인식을 16개 대표감성과 연관된 감성의 상위 5위로 구분하고, 집중된 대표감성크기를 비교 분석한다. 향후 감성컴퓨팅 방식이 사람의 감성인식과 더 유사할 수 있도록 감성계산식의 연구가 필요하다.

군사지리학은 지리과학 기술과 지식을 전쟁에 활용하는 관점에서 1960년대에 출현한 응용지리학의 한 분야로 인식되어 왔다. 그러나 폭력 행위를 수반하는 전쟁에 대한 기여는 학문 연구의 도덕적 측면에서 부정적 인식을 초래하였고, 이는 학문 연구의 침체로 이어졌다. 본 연구는 응용지리학으로서 군사지리학의 역할을 제고하기 위한 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 군사지리학의 역할에 대한 본질적인 의미를 전쟁과 군사학과의 관계 속에서 고찰하였다. 이를 바탕으로 군사지리학 연구가 기존의 전쟁 기여 위주의 시각에서 벗어나 인류의 발전에 기여하는 역할로 새로운 정립이 필요하다는 관점의 연구 방향을 제시하였다. 군사지리학의 연구 기능은 연구 방향의 관점에 따라 전쟁에 기여하기도 하고 인류의 삶 증진에 기여할 수도 있는 이중적 속성을 대부분 가지고 있다. 군사지리학 연구가 지금까지는 전쟁기여에 필요한 활용성에 초점을 맞추어 왔으나 향후에는 인류의 삶 증진에 기여하는 역할을 확대함으로써 도덕성 측면의 미흡성을 보완해 나갈 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 군사지리학이 전쟁과 평화 모두에 기여할 수 있는 완전한 학문으로의 역할 수행에 대한 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
