The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between the exterior environmental factors and sensibility responses in apartment housing estates. The finding of the study may be summerized as follow: 1) The method of analysis was that the adequacy of 214 sensibility vocabularies primarily drawn were analyzed by the evaluation group through questionnaire. As a result of factor analysis on them, 36 sensibility vocabularies were finally drawn and used as a tool for evaluation. 2) 22 elements were drawn as physical elements that shows sensibility responses according to residential complexes and classified roughly into five factors; the architectural factor, the rest space, the horizontal system, the design factor, and the annexed facilities. 3) The average score for sensibility items by complexes suggested that the sensibility contents would vary depending on the physical conditions of facilities by complexes. 4) It was shown that the percentages of sensibility responses by physical structural elements were 50.7% for the rest space, 24.1% for the design factor, 13.7% for the architectural factor, 8.1% for the annexed facilities, and 3.2% for the horizontal system. 5) The analysis of relation between the physical elements and the sensibility contents showed that the sensibility contents such as 'emotions', 'comfortable', 'luxury', 'symbolic', and 'intimate', had a positive relation with the physical elements such as the entrance of a complex, design element, artistic structures, and kindergarten facilities but a negative relation with the physical elements such as the shape of buildings, walkways, and separate garbage collection yards.
Today, the market environment for companies around the world has been changed by globalization, digital innovation, information by opening the diversity, consumer awareness, and the development of mass media in the wide areas such as, politics, economy, society and culture. Accordingly, the function of the housing cultural center also has been changed from the Place where the trading had been made to the Space where the marketing could work. The housing cultural center is home to companies to target their corporate culture and corporate image, and the brand identity. From the space marketing standpoint, this study extracts differentiator of the housing cultural center from theoretical consideration to boom up of the housing cultural center and to build up its identification. Based on this analysis, the design identity element of the interior design of the housing cultural center is proposed by the actual and analytical cases. Such a future plan design identity elements in the design of the new housing cultural center is providing basic design guide line to recognize the importance.

This study is about finding out characteristic of recognition individual housing in seaside of Donghae. To accomplish this purpose, we survey the 150 houses related to the landscape. Thus the major analysis is to take basic data, such as image(modern, western, traditional, etc) about exterior form of housing corresponding to the landscape. The result summarized as follows First, the elements for the characteristic of recognition were exterior material finish, exterior color, roof type, roof material finish, window size, roof slope, area of wall vs roof. Second, the image of traditional housing was very insufficient to plan landscape of housing with design elements. This research suggests that landscape housing of future is to be environmental landscape design and the proper design is to be various considering not only user's preference but also control of landscape.

Sustainable interior design elements are related with human health. We know that a demand for environmental-friendly housing and all about the others demanding are for human health. We have to make up basement of natural environment for sustainable space composition. If natural environment is polluted that surrounded by human, we have to effort to revive without any pollution. We have to get accomplished stability, comfortable, security, convenience and organize interior design elements for sustainable space to enhance for the quality of life. Furthermore, it needs to get a respect lifestyle on personal. To study composing of the sustainable interior design, we arranged interior design elements to compose sustainable space of housing. We investigated how to compose energy-efficiency, sustainable, interior tree-planting, alterable of the space.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the basic design elements for dwelling environment planning of downtown in Taegu.The evaluation of the dwelling environment should be approached from the satisfaction and the cognitive of the residents, that are based on their desire and various values on the conditions of residential area. This paper concerns the satisfaction and the congnitive image structure of the residents in the various dwelling types, from which design elements for dwelling environments can be derived. The results are as folIows: 1) The analysis on the satisfaction of dwell ins environment shows lots of displeasure about the lack of open-spaces and the housing low-quality, neighborhood in Mun-hwa, Korean style housing and the low-rise apartment areas. In order to make the variety types of dowelling in downtown district, the improvement of housing qualities and the expantion of the urban facilities for the open-spaces and communities are need. 2) The design elements of dwelling environments in downtown find out the important planning elements for urban design. The evaluation of the cognitive image structures about the safety and affection should be considered in design for urban dwelling areas.
The purpose of this study is to investigate design elements to strengthen apartment communities in territoriality perspectives. To this end, the study first identified the functions of territoriality to communities, and examined precedent studies on community planning. Then, looking into actual apartment, the study analyzed design elements of the apartments by territoriality functions, and found significant community-building and community-strengthening elements. The results of case studies are as follows: Specific design elements are 1) both individual and shared places from the perspective of possession, 2) both physical boundaries including visible mark and physical demarcation, and emotional boundaries including space arrangement and visual expansion from the perspective of boundary-regulation, 3) both physical proximity, such as providing space for physical encounter and easy access, and emotional proximity such as homogeneity and intimacy from the perspective of proximity 4) design differentiation and adoption of the design concept to express the identity of the community from the perspective of proximity personalization.
The access area, so called "core" in the housing block, makes a buffer zone between public open space and private interior space, as well as offers chances of communication for the users. Planning and design of this area, however, tend to be not attended, comparing with another spaces in the multifamily housing block. This paper is aimed at investigating examplary model European cases and, thus, finding out some positive and applicable planning skills for multifamily housing in Korea. This study covers following aspects; firstly, the important social meaning of core area was analyzed in comparison of Korea and Europe, secondly, intensive studies on the spots, visiting German, Austrian and Dutch cases, made it possible to grasp the prevailling tendency toward assessment of this area in the Continent, Thirdly, useful planning elements and skills by European examples for more user friendliness, more economization and raising the quality of spatial design and sequential experience were founded out with regard to various core types. and lastly, some concrete guidelines for planning are presented for the improvement of so far monotnousely designed core area in the local multifamily housing. Consequently those European cases made it clear that the planning of core area is closely related to the total design of housing blocks. This study maybe conducive not only to the planning of this area, but also further to the increase of the quality of life in multifamily housing.y housing.

Since 1960's Mapo Apartment Housing, the apartment housing has been established as the typical urban housing type, and its design of outdoor spaces being transformed diversely. The purpose of this study is to identify the periodical trend of outdoor space design by analysing the elements of outdoor spaces in the apartment housing estates constructed in Daejon City.
The purpose of this study is to examine the preferences about component elements of Public Space of apartment housing in Daegu. This study is based on the survey of thirty nine apartment complex in seventeen construction companies to create images and component elements types. Also, by using an questionnaire analysis derived from a precedent study, component elements in the porch and interior common space of apartment residents are comprehended. The survey analysis of the porch is researched and divided according to a form of porch, designs and lights of ceiling. Interior common space is analyzed by several elements; forms of core, designs and lights of ceiling, design of walls and floors, necessity of windows, and necessity of public facilities. The questionnaire is composed of 40 items and it was returned by one hundred sixty two respondents. As a result of the study, After the enforcement of price deregulation, the porch and interior common space of apartments has had improved quality. However, by questionnaire survey of respondents showed preferences of each element and necessary facilities. Thus, i hope that this study is an excellent source for apartment design.

It resulted decline of the medium-large size housings that increasing of 1-2 person household need the variety of small housing with housing type. This study was researched the Gold-Generation on theme by Gold Miss, Gold Mr. who preferring urban small housings that it analyzed survey of Gold generation who be wanted urban small housing by interior coordination elements. Data to be analyzed that first, Gold Mr. and Miss are preferred two bedroom applied by spatial structure coordination. Especially it is based on the separation between livingroom and bedroom with duplex type which is bathroom formed single unit type(shower/toilet/basin). In interior coordination of spatial elements, Gold Mr. considered the form of kitchen with huge ㄷ type instead of Gold Miss are preferred alpha room or alpha space to use powder room or dress room. Second, In Preference of interior coordination elements, Gold Mr. and Miss are preferred bed-clothes and curtains by fabrics, lighting are hanging and spot lighting, accessories are carpet with rug and porcelains. Color are preferred bright scheme both white and ivory, however preference of furniture is different from Gold Mr. and Gold Miss that Gold Mr. are ordered desk, sofa and shelves but Gold Miss are preferred sofa, bed, and dressing table. It showed between Gold Mr. and Gold Miss are equal needs or differences. It expects the basic research for understanding the interior coordination elements for preference in urban small housing as focused on Gold generation(Gold Miss, Gold Mr.) that they will be applied the interior space on urban small housing.
