The Study on Dwelling Environmental Planning in Old Age of the Middle Generation (중년층의 노년기 주거환경계획에 관한 연구 - 진주지역을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is to analyze dwelling environmental planning in old age of middle age. For this purpose. the data were collected by using questionnaire distributed to 332. The data were analyzed by Chisquare test. The major findings of this research were as follow: 1. In housing plan of old age. they prefer new house .that is not exisiting house. independent house and ordindry housing region in the suburbs of urban. 2. It is 69.3~99 square meter what size of house is suitable for independent life of aged person for living with children. it is 102.3~132 square meter. 3. In the stage of independent or semi-independent life. they want aged couple-independent life. In the stage of dependent life. they want to be cared with children. 4. The garden(madang) is the most important space for age couple in establishing housing plan. They want to amplity life recuperation center and job providing facilities. In old age housing project. they prefer housing type with facility that combine old age house with young age house. According to increasement of dependence. the service support system required flexi-care-system.

A Study on the Web Database Construction for Modern House Plans (현대주택평면의 웹 데이터베이스 구축에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze systematically the characteristics and types of contemporary houses and to offer information concerning houses based on web database. This study deals with single-unit Korean houses designed by modern architects, which appeared in architectural periodicals and books published since 1990. This study sets three analysis criteria : general characteristics, morphological characteristics and functional characteristics of houses. Also, the web database including analysis contents is constructed to attain various information of the houses and results. The process of constructing the web database and the search method for house information retrieval are described. It is concluded that contemporary houses show various aspects of their plans in certain specific types. By using web database we obtained various analysis on house plan. This study investigated practicality of web database in architecture, interior design and house studies, and the types of contemporary house plans are revealed as well.

A Study on the Housing Renovation to Provide Comfortable and Independent Living Environment for Disabled People (재가 장애인의 자립 생활환경 조성을 위한 주택개조에 관한 연구)

  • Along with the increasing number of disabled people, number of handicapped people who spends most of their time indoors increase. Their disabilities constrain them in social activities and bind them to indoors. But living environment built for normal people are many cases inevitably inconvenient for disabled people. People realizes that housing renovation is necessary, however problems such as financial difficulties must be solved in advance. House renovations, to create comfortable and independent living conditions for disabled people, various thesis and documents were analyzed, along with survey through questionnaire. Results are as following. (1) House renovation is necessary, due to the increasing number of disabled people and inconvenience of former house form. (2) Integrated or specialized house renovation manual is required to satisfy the different need derived from extent and type of disabilities. (3) Central and local government's policy for continued support is necessary. (4) House renovation plan for homeless disabled people is necessary. (5) Separate research on the size of space, type of space, efficiency is necessary. (6) Separate house renovation plan considering the people who lives with disabled people is required. (7) Disabilities are not personal but societal problem. This paper is to uncover all the problems in the house renovation for disabled people. It will be used to develop house renovation manual in the future. Therefore, this paper does not deal with the actual house renovation plans.

Users' Behavior Study for the Planning of One-room System Houses (원룸시스템 주택 계획을 위한 거주자 행태연구)

  • The demand for one-room system house as a new type of house will increase gradually, and residents also tend to be diversified. However, a method of planning of planning of one-room system house was limited and unified. Current floor plans of the one-room don't utilize a benefit of open plan in small areas. The purpose of this study is to propose several guidelines for the planning of one-room system houses that correspond to residents' needs in order to facilitate the benefit of open plan such as efficiency and multi-purpose use in small area. For this, a field survey was carried out as case studies, with individual interviews, questionnaires, and actual survey including taking pictures. Subjects were 50 residents who living in one-room system houses in Busan. Space usage behavior of residents, residential satisfactions, and preference attitudes on the attached service facilities were analyzed. The results were synthesized to suggest several guidelines for planning of one-room system house.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the materials for developing the new house style by analysing the space characteristics of wood frame houses in suburbs of Seoul. For this, we analysed 45 drawings(site plan, floor plan, elevation, section) that were designed by MICHOO, WOOD-LAND, STUGA and CHOWONJUTECK company etc. The space design characteristics that we found are as follows; 1. The wood is fragile to humidity. Therefore this characteristic is especially considered in designing the space of bathroom and utility room. 2. It is the merit of wood frame house that inner space can be designed variously by using spilt-level and the slope of roof. 3.The public space and private space are completely separated in most cases and the stair is located in the middle of house. This structure of house is short of horizontal openness. Instead, most houses gets vertical openness by making second floor on the living room opev. 4. In wood frame house as the rural house, the outer space is well used by setting up deck and balcony. The outer spaces like deck and balcony are usually used as a part of life space in connected with living room, dining room, master bed room and family room. 5. The public spaces like kitchen, living room, dining room and family room are considered so important in design that those are arranged in front in order to have good outlook and directiov.

A Study on the Feature of the Dimension Plan at Happy Village - Focused on the Comparative Traditional House in Chonnam Province - (전라남도 행복마을 가옥의 치수계획 특징에 관한 연구 -전라남도 전통가옥과의 비교를 중심으로-)

  • This study is aimed to investigate the dimension feature of the plane about the economic type farming village Korean-style house progressed in the Chonnam province and Longitudinal feature and tries to reveal this feature through the comparing analysis with the traditional house positioned in the Chonnam province. This result is as follows. First, the main feature in plane is the setting up the column interval in front when comparing the house of Happy Village and traditional house. In case house of the Happy Village, after firstly fixed the limited scales, sizes are determined, this is due to control the set up in the post interval in this in range. Second, in the case of the traditional houses, 0.68 ratio of the building height about the side length and 0.19 ratio of the eaves extrusion about the side length are consistent ratio about dimensions. However, there is no consistent ratio or fixed law, the various dimensions show up in case of the house of Happy Village. It will be inevitable that space of the post increases for the convenience of life of the modern people. However, it has to sublate and to disregard as the identity of the morphological shown up in the Korean-style house the more various construction standards will need to be presented.

  • The justice of the house for rural life all the member Iran meaning namely, 'countries or the suburb' a possibility of calling attaches the house in the intention which is and as the country or suburban house there is. From the research which sees consequently examines a plan about week life after retiring of the city workers and dwells investigates the contents which is concrete from the family with there is the goal provides a hereafter house for rural life plan at the time of fundamental data in the farming and fishing villages area.

  • Making of agreement with participation subjects is important process laying stress on presentation and a reasonable design guide line to form space order grant and synthetic space in Housing Complex plan. This study analyzed residing application specific character of design guide line that is presented to architects in general planning laying stress on plan only of 'Bongmu-dong town house' and design agreement of by architectural result that appear analyze. Result that analyze is as following: 1) Confer in 18 plan contents and integrate design or was adjusted. Being main conduct and unit plan and residing only in plan many negotiations accomplish. Architect who confer most Designs of 5 architects is 'Jean Michel Wilmott' and 'Shigeru Ban' 2) contents that confer much in plan main conduct and unit generation were details plan. Contents that is conferred with many architects are about door/core/rooftop be and asked a question about proper size of entrance. Negotiation about size was expose to the tribe of knowledge about element that do furniture and detail of necessary each space in life style of our country. We must present furnitures or detail element that appear by emotion of our country and detailed item of furnitures' size etc.. in guide line. It is immediate that creation of guide that architects can approach easily for lacking abroad architects of interests by code difference in each country is pressing. 3) In residing plan 4 architects of 5 architects applied similarly guide line in design. Most architects look by active support that make synthetic housing complex. and this is construed that act positively to make by unified residing. That plan of woods or landscape architecture and security of green area space are thing to approach on 'Environment-friendly mode of life residing only' that is general planning subject of 'Bongmu-dong town house'. 4) common question items of architects guide line of though is refered definitely when make out effective interests plan. So that can overcome legislation difference, countermeasure to make understood construction code of our country is pressing

The Characteristics in the Planning Process of Co-housing: Modification of Plans by Residents' Participation - Case of Co-housing Built by a Coordination Company in Seongmisan Village - (거주자참여 코하우징의 평면조정에서 나타난 계획과정의 특성 - 코디네이터회사에 의한 성미산마을 코하우징 사례연구 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide information needed to the construction of the co-housing in the urban area. This study focused on the characteristics of co-housing in its planning process of private house & common space; 'economy', 'creativity' & 'sociality'. The object of this study is co-housing in 'Seongmi-san Village' in Seoul, which was built by a coordination company with residents' participation. The methods are investigating interview materials, floor plans of 9 households, & common space plans produced in the coordination process from the basic plan of private house & common space to the final plan. The results are as follows. 1) The size and plan of private house differed from each other. The water pipe location differed from each floor, so that there were difficulties in construction. In conclusion, these made no 'economy', but brought high 'creativity'. 2) The 'sociality' would be estimated as high because there were various types of resident participation; resident interviews on the planning, workshops for private housing plan, and workshops for common space.

A study on the high-level house floor plan used the old drafts owned by the head family of Ongye in Andong (안동(安東) 온계종택(溫溪宗宅) 소장(所藏) 가도(家圖)를 통한 반가(班家) 평면형식 고찰)

  • As a result of analyzing the floor plan shown in the three drafts, there were a great deal of differences in composing the space of the inner main hall. The inner room facing to the east with the arrangement crossing the inner floor at right angles in the 'Baekdangguje Draft' faces to the south in the east or west in front of the main house thereafter. This represents that it reflects the intent of the owner of the architecture emphasizing the size increase and ceremonies of the main house in the 'ㅁ shape', which has changed to the directions of easily accommodating the Confucian ceremonial activities in the floor plan of the inner house as the size of the main house was gradually increasing from 24 sections to 30 or 38 sections. The expansion in the size of main house further divided the functions of floor into one for daily life and the other for ceremonies as well. In other words, the 30 Sections in Yijeong Draft as being the first planned draft for reconstruction had a hall for memorial services in the main hall of the inner house, whereas the 'Draft with 38 Sections' as being the second planned draft for reconstruction was planning a room with a floor (two sections of Bangdang) for memorial purpose in the back of the inner main hall. The variations in the guest house (or space for men) shown in the drafts confirms the establishment of space for men as the size of the main house increases. We can see the change that a large guest house is placed over the south and in the south and east of the main house as the number of main house increases by 30 sections or 38 sections. Especially, a guest house with a wide space in a 'ㄴ shape' is arranged from the south of main house to the east wing in the Draft with 38 Sections. In addition, the backward sections are advanced in the front and back of guest house in the drafts with 30 and 38 sections, while a back floor or a back floor connecting to the back room or sleeping room or inner house is installed in the backward sections.
