  • Product of technology developed in this study is an external interface for controlling the equipment of pendant key remote control system circuit board, and it is used in the electronic component test equipment system. Main control system module is in the role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer engineers to control the inspection equipment. The pentane-key interface module to its role as a device for controlling the various control devices that make up the integrated system for microscopic examination at the request of the host computer for the engineer to control the inspection equipment. Development of the control system can be expected in the configuration of a system for efficient and accurate inspection of high-precision parts.

반도체 제조 공정에서 장비와 호스트간 SECS 프로토콜 통신을 위한 응용 프로그램 구현 (An Application Implementation for the SECS Protocol Communication between Equipments and a Host in a Semiconductor Process)

  • The SECS(SEMI Equipment Communications Standard) is a standard protocol for communication between equipments and a host in semiconductor processes. This paper proposes the implementation of the HSMS(High-speed SECS Message Services) as an interface for transmission of the SECS messages and SECS-II containing message contents defined as an SEMI standard. The HSMS driver is implemented as a type of the daemon program and several DLL files. The SECS-II composes of the SML(SECS Message Language) file defining the SECS messages, the SML translator being able to interpret and transform the SML, and the data index table being able to refer to SECS messages. We also define the shared parameter to exchange the HSMS header and SECS message between the HSMS and the SECS-II. Eventually, to show the effectiveness of the proposed drivers, we test the SECS communications between equipments and a host using the implemented communication programs.

  • IIoT stands for Industrial Internet of Things used in manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation in networked smart factories. Recently, IIoT's environment requires an automated control system through intelligent cognition to improve efficiency. In particular, IIoT can be applied to automatic calibration of production equipment for improved management in industrial environments. Such automation systems require a wireless network for transmitting industrial data. Self-calibration systems in laser transmission paths using wireless networks can save resources and improve production quality by real-time monitoring and remote control of laser transmission path. In this paper, we propose a wireless networked system for self-calibration of laser equipment that requires a laser transmission path, and we show the results of the prototype evaluation. The self-calibration system of laser equipment measures the coordinates of the laser points with sensors and sends them to the host using the proposed application protocol. We propose a wireless network service for the wired motor controller to align the laser coordinates. Using this wireless network, the host controls the motor by sending a control command of the motor controller in an HTTP message based on the received coordinate values. Finally, we build a prototype system of the proposed design to verify the detection performance and analyze the network performance.

  • This paper presents an enhanced web-based distributed system with Single Access Object Protocol(SOAP), which uses HTTP as a communication protocol and XML as a data presentation. The suggested system is applied into a Generic Equipment Model (GEM) for exchanging specified messages(SECS-II), which are encoded into XML presentation, between Equipment and Host via the web sorrel. In this paper, the designed system architecture and its soap components are presented.

사물인터넷을 이용한 반도체 장비 통신 프로토콜 모델 (The Communication Protocol Model for Semiconductor Equipment with Internet of Things)

  • The smart factory has developed with the help of several technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, big data, smart sensors and communication protocols. The Internet of things(IOT) among communication protocols has become the key factor for the seamless integration of various manufacturing equipment. Therefore, it is important that the IOT cooperate with the standards of communication protocols proposed by the SEMI in the semiconductor industry. In this paper, we suggest a novel reference model of the communication protocols for semiconductor equipment by introducing an IOT service layer. With the IOT service layer, we can use the functions and the additional services provided by the IOT standards that give the inter-operability between factory machines and host computers. We implement the standard of the communication protocols for semiconductor equipment with the IOT service layer by using ns3 simulator. It concludes that it is necessary to provide the platform for the IOT service layer to deploy efficiently the proposed reference model of the communication protocols.

  • Urban railway system that leads the urban public transportation enables the passengers to use the subway system safely and conveniently by indicating the destination of, status of approach of and other information on train through Train Destination Equipment(TDE), which is one of the important passenger services. The existing system is composed of Host Station Equipment(HSE) and operator panel that receives necessary input on train information from Total Traffic Control System(TTC), Local Station Equipment(LSE) that controls Train Destination Indicator(TDI) installed at each station, and Train Destination Indicator that ultimately displays train information to the passengers using the train system. This study aims to realize stabilized and reliable announcement system for destination of train by considering processing procedure and method of expression of inputted information of the existing system of notification of announcement of destination of train that can be applied in the RFID, which is the base technology of USN for which service expansion is easy, and to realize system that considers interface with USN and expandability with other facilities in the future.

  • In the semiconductor equipment industry, the SECS/GEM protocol has been recognized as the communication standard, but in our 300mm wafer aligner being developed, this capability has not been equipped yet. In this study, we present the realization of SECS-I, SECS-II and HSMS communication protocol between factory host computer and wafer aligner. Its validity is shown in actual test environment.

전산망 보호를 위한 혼합형 방화벽 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Hybrid Firewall System for Network Security)

  • 본 논문에서는 스크리닝 라우터, 듀열-홈드 게이크웨이, 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이, 그리고 응용 레벨 게이트웨이를 사용한 혼합형 방화벽 시스템을 제안하였다. 스크린드 호스트 게이트웨이는 스크리닝 라우터와, DMZ, 그리고 베스쳔 호스트로 구성되었으며, 외부의 모든 트랙픽은 프로토콜 필터링 기능을 가진 스크리닝 라우터에서 필터링되고, 그리고 응용 레벨 필터링을 수행하기 위하여 베스쳔 호스트로 전송된다. 듀얼-홈드 게이트웨이는 외부의 사용자가 내부 네트워크를 직접 접근을 못하도록 중개 역할을 한다. 응용 레벨 게이트웨이는 프럭시 서버를 통해서만 트래픽 전송이 가능하도록 한다. 외부 사용자는 DMZ에 있는 고개 서버를 통해서만 내부 네트워크로의 접근이 가능하지만 내부 사용자는 외부 네트워크를 용이하게 사용할 수 있다. 그리고 DMZ에 있는 시스템의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 시스템 관리자만 Telnet 접속이 가능하도록 규칙기반을 적용하였다. 실험 결과, 접근 거부는 Web, Mail, FTP, Telnet 순으로 나타났으며, DMZ에 있는 공개 서버릴 제외한 나머지 시스템에 대한 접근은 거부되었다. 프로토콜별 접근 거부는 모든 네트워크에 broadcast하는 BOOTP와 NETBIOS를 사용하는 호스트가 많았기 때문에 TCP보다 UDP가 많이 나타났다. 또한 내부 네트워크에 불법적인 Telnet이나 FTP는 거의 없었다.

Optimal placement of piezoelectric curve beams in structural shape control

  • Shape control of flexible structures using piezoelectric materials has attracted much attention due to its wide applications in controllable systems such as space and aeronautical engineering. The major work in the field is to find a best control voltage or an optimal placement of the piezoelectric actuators in order to actuate the structure shape as close as possible to the desired one. The current research focus on the investigation of static shape control of intelligent shells using spatially distributed piezoelectric curve beam actuators. The finite element formulation of the piezoelectric model is briefly described. The piezoelectric curve beam element is then integrated into a collocated host shell element by using nodal displacement constraint equations. The linear least square method (LLSM) is employed to get the optimum voltage distributions in the control system so that the desired structure shape can be well matched. Furthermore, to find the optimal placement of the piezoelectric curve beam actuators, a genetic algorithm (GA) is introduced in the computation model as well as the consideration of the different objective functions. Numerical results are given to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical model and numerical algorithm developed.

VDES 시험망 구축 및 서비스 솔루션 개발에 관한 상세설계 연구 (A Detailed Design Study on VDES Test Network Construction and Service Solution Development)

  • 현재 한국의 Smart-Navigation Project를 통해서 VDES 시험망 구축 준비 및 시험용 서비스 솔루션 개발 과제를 수행하고 있다. 이 과제에서 VDES 통신망과 효율적인 서비스 제공을 위한 eNavigation 서비스 호스트/클라이언트 기능을 연동하는 구조를 설계한다. 제시한 구조는 VDES 해안국과 선박국, 게이트웨이, 서비스 호스트, 클라이언트 등의 개발 요소를 포함하고 있으며 이러한 VDES 시험망 장비들 간 연동을 위한 인터페이스 설계를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 상세살계 연구는 VDES 시스템의 개발 요소인 메시지 정의, 인터페이스 설계, 메시지 운영 시나리오, 장비 설계 및 구현 방안 등을 포함한다. 우리는 설계된 인터페이스를 바탕으로 시험 장비를 제작 후, VDES 시험망을 위한 장비간 통합 및 연동 시험을 실내에서 진행할 예정이다. 그리고 실내시험을 통해 VDES 시험망을 충분히 시험한 후, 실제 해안국과 선박국에 시험망을 구축하여 실해역 시험을 2020년까지 진행하여 VDES 시험망의 적절성과 유효성을 검증할 예정이다.
