블록체인 상호호환성 메커니즘 (Blockchain Interoperability Mechanism)

  • 본 논문에서는 모듈화, 추상화, 계층화 개념을 기반으로 블록체인 상호호환성을 제공하기 위한 크로스-체인 개념의 해결방안을 제안한다. 컨센서스 알고리즘과 특정한 응용 로직으부터 크로스-체인 기능을 분리하며, 크로스-체인운영의 타당성과 합법성을 보장하기 위해 머클 증명을 활용한다. 또한, 동종 블록 체인과 이종 블록 체인의 기본 구현이 다르기 때문에 크로스-체인에서는 이를 분리하여 다루기로 한다. 동종 블록 체인의 경우 TCP와 유사한 크로스-체인 전송 프로토콜(CCTV)을 제안한다. 이종 블록 체인의 경우 크로스-체인 기능을 실현하기 위해 릴레이 체인을 구성하는 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 방식은 크로스-체인 데이터의 정확하고 효과적이며 신뢰할 수 있고 질서 있고 시기 적절한 전송을 가능하게 할 수 있다.

Effects of Powder Property and Sintering Atmosphere on the Properties of Burnable Absorber Fuel : I. $UO_2-Gd_2O_3$ Fuel

  • UO$_2$-Gd$_2$O$_3$fuel has been sintered to study the effect of powder property and sintering atmospheres on densification and microstructure. Three types of powders have been used; AUC-UO$_2$ powder and ADU-UO$_2$ powder were mixed with Gd$_2$O$_3$ Powder, and co-milled AUC-UO$_2$ and Gd$_2$O$_3$ powder. UO$_2$-(2, 5, 10)wt% Gd$_2$O$_3$pellets have been sintered at 168$0^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours in the mixture of H$_2$ and $CO_2$ gases, of which oxygen potential has been controlled by the ratio of $CO_2$ to H$_2$ gas. Densities of UO$_2$-Gd$_2$O$_3$ fuel pellets are quite dependent on powder types, and UO$_2$-Gd$_2$O$_3$ fuel using co-milled UO$_2$ powder yields the highest density. A long range homogeneity of Gd is determined by powder mixing. As the oxygen potential of sintered atmosphere increases, the sintered densities of UO$_2$-Gd$_2$O$_3$ pellets decrease but grain size increases. In addition, (U, Gd)O$_2$ solid solution becomes more homogeneous. The UO$_2$-Gd$_2$O$_3$fuel having adequate density and homogeneous microstructure can be fabricated by co-milling powder and by high oxygen potential.

고점성 모사용액 내 Carbon Black 입자의 분산특성 (Dispersion Characteristics of Carbon Black Particles in a High Viscous Simulated Solution)

  • 초고온가스로 핵연료 구형 UCO (uranium oxycarbide) 입자 제조과정 중 중간화합물 제조에서 적용하고 있는 내부겔화공정을 대체하기 위해 외부겔화공정을 도입하는 연구가 진행 중에 있다. 외부겔화공정을 이용해서 구형 UCO입자를 제조하기 위한 사전실험으로, 중간화합물인 ADU (ammonium di-uranate) 겔 입자를 제조하기 위한 원료용액인 모사 broth 용액을 제조하여 카본블랙 입자를 분산시키는 실험이 수행되었다. 다양한 종류의 카본블랙 입자를 사용해서 모사 broth 용액에 분산실험을 수행한 결과, Cabot G 제품이 용액상에서 분산안정성과 균일한 분산상태를 나타내고 있어서, 본 연구의 카본블랙으로 선정되었다. 또한 나노크기 입자로 응집된 카본블랙 입자를 고점성 액상물질에 효율적으로 분산시키기 위해서는, 금속염용액에 카본블랙 입자를 투입하고 ultrasonic force를 이용해서 응집입자를 해체한 다음, 고점성 물질인 PVA (poly vinyl alcohol)를 투입하여 강력한 기계식혼합기를 이용해서 6000 rpm으로 2차 분산 혼합시키는 경우, ultrasonic force에 의한 broth 용액의 물성이 유지되면서 카본블랙 입자의 분산안정성과 분산상태가 양호한 broth용액을 얻을 수 있었다.

균질한 매질 내 Calcium polysulfide 주입에 따른 고농도 중금속 오염 지하수 정화 타당성 검토 (Feasibility Evaluation for Remediation of Groundwater Contaminated with Heavy Metal using Calcium Polysulfide in Homogeneous media)

  • In this study, column tests using relatively uniform Jumunjin sand media were conducted to evaluate the feasibility of calcium polysulfide (CaSx, CPS) in removing high concentration of Zn2+ in groundwater. The injected CPS solution reacted rapidly with Zn2+ in artificial groundwater and effectively reduced Zn2+ by more than 99% through metal sulfide precipitation. Since the density (d = 1.27 g/cm3 ) of CPS solution was greater than that of water, CPS solution settled down rapidly while capturing Zn2+ and formed stable CPS layer similar to dense nonaqueous phase liquid. Mass balance analysis on Zn2+ in CPS solution suggested that CPS solution effectively reacted with Zn2+ to form metal sulfide precipitates except for high groundwater seepage velocity of 400 cm/d. With greater groundwater seepage velocity, injected CPS did not completely dissolve at the CPS-water interface, but a partially-misible CPS layer continuously moved and reacted with Zn2++ in the direction of groundwater flow. Since hydraulic conductivity (Kh) decreased slightly due to the generated metal precipitates in the inter-pores of media, injection of CPS solution should be optimized to prevent clogging. As evidenced by both XRF and SEM/EDS results, ZnS precipitates were clearly observed through the reaction between the CPS solution and Zn2+. Further study is warranted to evaluate the feasibility of CPS to remove high-concentration heavy metalcontaminated groundwater in complex and heterogeneous media.

가시광 활성을 갖는 광촉매용 $TiO_2-_xN_x$ 나노입자의 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Characteristics of Visible-Light-Active $TiO_2-_xN_x$ Nanoparticles for Photocatalytic Activities)

  • 가시광 활성을 갖는 anatase 결정구조의 $TiO_2-_xN_x$ 나노입자를 암모니아 수용액에서 $TiCl_4$ 가수분해에 의해 제조하였다. 제조한 시료의 특성은 XRD, TEM, $N_2$-sorption 및 DRS로 분석하였다. 질소를 $TiO_2$에 도핑함으로써 광흡수 영역이 순수한 TiO2에 해당하는 390 nm에서 가시광 영역인 530 nm까지 이동하였다. DRS 분석결과로부터 $TiO_2-_xN_x$의 밴드갭이 감소하는 것을 유추할 수 있었다. 광촉매 활성은 가시광 조사하에서 congo red 분해로부터 평가하였다. 질소의 도핑 농도가 적절한 광촉매가 광촉매 활성이 가장 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과로부터 질소 도핑이 광촉매 활성의 향상에 중요한 역할을 함을 확인할 수 있었다.

강철의 산세폐액으로부터 Ferrite의 주원료인 Fe$_3$O$_3$의 제조에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Manufacture of $\alpha$-Fe$_2$O (Major Material of Ferrite) by Waste Pickling Liquor of Steel)

  • The properties vary with quality of ferric-oxide that is major material of ferrites. In this point of view, a manufacturing method of pure and homogeneous fine ferric oxide is very important. The characters of this study are as follows: 1) Ferric oxide was made from waste pickling liquor of steel. 2) The crude ferric-oxide that is made by roasting the pickling liquor was dissolved in 20% HCI solution and then produced ferric chloride is purified by ethyl ether extraction. 3) The methanol solution of purified ferric chloride was sprayed into the refractory tube with compressed air and propane gas and then ignited leading to the ferric-oxide powder. 4) The produced oxide powder was introduced to the scrubber type vessel throught cooling system in order to collect the powder. 5) Crystalline phase of the powder was identified by X-ray diffraction and particle size, crystalline shape of the powder were investigated by settling method and electron microscope and the effects of concentration of ferric chloride in methanol on grain size were discussed. Results were obtained as fellows: 1) Total impurity in the ferric oxide produced from waste pickling liquor was 3.7%. 2) The solubilityof crude ferric oxide that was made from waste pickling liquor in HCI solution increased with the HCI concentration and reached to saturation range at 15% HCI concentration. 3) Extraction of FeCl3 increased with HCI concentration which is solvent. 4) Alpha ferric oxide obtained was very fine crystalline particles, the mean crystalline grain increased with the concentration of ferric chloride, and mean grain size distributed from 3.5$\mu$(at 0.5mole/l) to 0.5$\mu$(at 0.05mole/l).

두 이종 혼합 모형에서의 수정된 경사 하강법 (Adaptive stochastic gradient method under two mixing heterogenous models)

  • 온라인 학습은 자료가 실시간으로 혹은 배치 단위로 축적되는 상황에서 주어진 목적함수의 해를 계산하는 방법을 말한다. 온라인 학습 알고리즘 중 배치를 이용한 확률적 경사 하강법 (stochastic gradient decent method)은 가장 많이 사용되는 방법 중 하나다. 이 방법은 구현이 쉬울 뿐만 아니라 자료가 동질적인 분포를 따른다는 가정 하에서 그 해의 성질이 잘 연구되어 있다. 하지만 자료에 특이값이 있거나 임의의 배치가 확률적으로 이질적 성질을 가질 때, 확률적 경사 하강법이 주는 해는 큰 편이를 가질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 비정상 배치 (abnormal batch) 있는 자료 하에서 효과적으로 온라인 학습을 수행할 수 있는 수정된 경사 하강 알고리즘 (modified gradient decent algorithm)을 제안하고, 그 알고리즘을 통해 계산된 해의 수렴성을 밝혔다. 뿐만 아니라 간단한 모의실험을 통해 제안한 방법의 이론적 성질을 실증하였다.

CONSEQUENCE OF BACKWARD EULER AND CRANK-NICOLSOM TECHNIQUES IN THE FINITE ELEMENT MODEL FOR THE NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF VARIABLY SATURATED FLOW PROBLEMS

  • Modeling water flow in variably saturated, porous media is important in many branches of science and engineering. Highly nonlinear relationships between water content and hydraulic conductivity and soil-water pressure result in very steep wetting fronts causing numerical problems. These include poor efficiency when modeling water infiltration into very dry porous media, and numerical oscillation near a steep wetting front. A one-dimensional finite element formulation is developed for the numerical simulation of variably saturated flow systems. First order backward Euler implicit and second order Crank-Nicolson time discretization schemes are adopted as a solution strategy in this formulation based on Picard and Newton iterative techniques. Five examples are used to investigate the numerical performance of two approaches and the different factors are highlighted that can affect their convergence and efficiency. The first test case deals with sharp moisture front that infiltrates into the soil column. It shows the capability of providing a mass-conservative behavior. Saturated conditions are not developed in the second test case. Involving of dry initial condition and steep wetting front are the main numerical complexity of the third test example. Fourth test case is a rapid infiltration of water from the surface, followed by a period of redistribution of the water due to the dynamic boundary condition. The last one-dimensional test case involves flow into a layered soil with variable initial conditions. The numerical results indicate that the Crank-Nicolson scheme is inefficient compared to fully implicit backward Euler scheme for the layered soil problem but offers same accuracy for the other homogeneous soil cases.

용액 공정을 이용한 IZO 트랜지스터의 전기적 성능에 대한 박막 두께의 영향 (Effect of Thin-Film Thickness on Electrical Performance of Indium-Zinc-Oxide Transistors Fabricated by Solution Process)

  • We investigated the effect of different thin-film thicknesses (25, 30, and 40 nm) on the electrical performance of solution-processed indium-zinc-oxide (IZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs). The structural properties of the IZO thin films were investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). AFM images revealed that the IZO thin films with thicknesses of 25 and 40 nm exhibit an uneven distribution of grains, which deforms the thin film and degrades the performance of the IZO TFT. Further, the IZO thin film with a thickness of 30 nm exhibits a homogeneous and smooth surface with a low RMS roughness of 1.88 nm. The IZO TFTs with the 30-nm-thick IZO film exhibit excellent results, with a field-effect mobility of $3.0({\pm}0.2)cm^2/Vs$, high Ion/Ioff ratio of $1.1{\times}10^7$, threshold voltage of $0.4({\pm}0.1)V$, and subthreshold swing of $0.7({\pm}0.01)V/dec$. The optimization of oxide semiconductor thickness through analysis of the surface morphologies can thus contribute to the development of oxide TFT manufacturing technology.

티타늄 기판 위에 강유전성 BaTiO3박막 형성과 분극처리에 의한 Eagle’s MEM 용액에서의 Calcium Phosphate 생성 (Fabrication of Ferroelectric BaTiO3Thin Film on Ti Substrate and Formation of Calcium Phosphate in Eagle’s MEM Solution)

  • Titanium (Ti) is a bioinert material and has lower elastic coefficient and better strength/volume property than other metals. Ferroelectric materials show alignment of positive and negative charges by poling treatment. This study was purposed to develop a new implant system by combining the advantages of Ti and ferroelectric property of $BaTiO_3$ (BTO). It was performed with the assumption that the $Ca^{2+ }$ ions would be easily attracted on negatively charged surface and the attracted cation might behave as nuclei for bone-like crystal growth in biological solutions. A ferroelectric BTO thin film on Ti was fabricated and the effect of poling treatment on the improvement of calcium phosphate (Ca-P) formation in biological solutions was evaluated. After immersion in Eagle’s minimum essential media (MEM) solution, NaCl was formed on Ti, and Ca-P layer containing NaCl was formed on Ti-O. Weak and sparse Ca-P layers were formed on BTO, while thick, homogeneous, and dense Ca-P layer was formed on negatively polarized BTO (N-BTO), which was confirmed by FE-SEM and EDX. In summary, these results demonstrate that poling the ferroelectric BTO surface negatively is effective for the formation of Ca-P layer in MEM solution, and that N-BTO coating on Ti could be used as a possible alternative method for enhancing the osseointegration of the implants.
