This study examined the awareness of the middle aged about the digital home system and well-being apartment design elements in order to suggest the design guidelines for planning of the elderly housing environment. By literature review, the concept and characteristics of the digital home system and well-being Apartment design elements were summarized the degree of satisfaction and preference of middle aged for these characteristics were investigated and analyzed. For this study, a questionnaire survey of 156 housewives living in apartment complex of Busan was carried out. The results of this study are as follows: The middle aged were generally short of recognition for digital skill and service, and also they showed positive evaluations to a few useful items of digital home system. These items belong under safety security system and interior environment control system and provided for convenient & comfortable life. Accordingly, satisfied digital home system can apply basic design element for housing for elderly. Whereas, the middle-aged were not satisfied with housework help system and cultural life system because items of these systems were not various and complicate to us. So, for the improvement of not satisfied digital home system, we needed development of digital contents and marketing & management for high accessibility and easy useability. The middle aged will concern about health & environment friendly continuously and become to stay long in their housing as the characteristics of elderly. So, It is necessary to be considered well-being apartment design elements of health & environment friendly very actively and lastingly in elderly housing environment design. Also, the awareness of middle aged for digital home system and well-being apartment design elements varied according to the background characteristics. This suggests housing environment for elderly life is considered differently as various background characteristics of middle aged.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the emotional color of home office and the trendy color with special comparison of office and library colors, and to suggest the harmony of color combination of home office based on the emotional color of this analytical data. this study, the Color Syntax Program, digital tool for color analysis of images is used. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the main color of home office images shows three color classifications of YR-Y, Y-GY, R-YR, and with relatively high ratios of YR-Y in the color of home offices, and B-PB, GY-G in offices and libraries. Secondly, from the point of emotional aspect, the trendy color of the home office can be classified into four color image categories: 'natural', 'peaceful', 'mild', and 'noble'. Under those categories this paper proposes 10 color harmony scheme that can be applied to color of home office interior design.

본 논문에서는 Ubi-Home에서의 지능적 멀티미디어 스트리밍을 지원하는 콘텐츠 보호 및 관리 시스템(UHSMS-DRM: Ubi-Home Smart Multimedia Streaming-Digital Right Management)을 설계 및 구현하였다. 제안 시스템은 Ubi-Home에서 디지털 콘텐츠의 저작권 보호 및 관리를 위한 유연한 유통 플랫폼을 제공하며, PC, STB, PDA, Portable device 등 다양한 디바이스의 인증을 통해 정당한 사용자에게 Multimedia Steaming Service를 제공한다. 그리고, 도메인 인증개념을 적용하여 Ubi-Home의 모든 디바이스에 대한 라이센스 관리의 효율성을 높인다. 또한, Ubi-Home에서 intelligent Service를 위해 사용자의 위치를 인지하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안 및 적용한다.

Recently, the interior design of electric home appliance stores requires comprehensive image management with systemic marketing strategies and consistence in order to attract consumers to purchase products. However, the environment of domestic electric home appliance stores is complex and confused by indiscreet design factors and operation. Despite of the fact that company costs a lot of money to manage each store, consumers are not provided with selling environment with high quality. On the other hand, it is inevitable to compete with foreign specialized stores and discount malls due to opening distribution market. Besides, company has faced to attract customers with distinct strategies in order to survive in various competition system. In this sense, in store environment, there should be consistent image in interior design of the store based on management ideology of the company for the successful management of electric home appliance stores. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the case of Samsung Electronics's electric home appliance stores among domestic electric home appliance stores that is applied with Store Identity Program (hereafter SIP) and to suggest solutions for the problems. Therefore, it is purposed to use as references for the stores that has the similar interior design plan. The result of this study is to upgrade the store image through providing basic data about role of data and distinct factors for competitive design as a part of Store Identity Strategy. Furthermore, it can be important data to optimize the profits and to make positive space for both consumer and company as company and products are credible with mental satisfaction of consumers if there is enough study on SIP and process and symbol of company and products to consumers, enough recognition and improvement on problems.

The purpose of this study was to identify kitchen space needs in regard to the architectural elements and facilities of rural houses. Three rural villages, Kum-Sung Ri, Young-San 1 Ri, and Yu-Bang 2.5 Ri were selected for this study. The present and past condition of the kitchen space was investigated by the field survey method. The major findings were that: 1) The interior floor materials of the kitchen had been changed from mostly mudplastered floor to linoleum, and the former low level of the kitchen floor had been lifted to the same level of the house plane. This change was made possible by the separation of the cooking from the heating system. 2) Western style kitchen, work centers and kitchen cabinets had been installed in the most of the rural houses. 3) On the basis of this study, the rural Korean kitchen space was classified into six types.

This paper describes the design and implementation of PLC home network system using HNCP ver.1.0. The developed home network system comprises a home server progranL a home master, and appliance emulators (e.g., for washing machine, microwave oven, and air-conditioner). Throughout the implementation of PLC home network system, the feasibility of HNCP ver.1.0 is verified.

본 연구의 목적은 보편적 홈 디자인(universal home design)과 관련된 기존 문헌을 고찰하고, 장애인의 접근성과 독립성을 증진하기 위한 전자 및 정보통신기술로써 스마트 홈 기술을 제안하는 것이다. 환자의 가옥환경 이해는 치료와 퇴원계획에서 빠뜨릴 수 없는 부분이며 가옥평가와 변형이 작업치료 영역에서 매우 중요함에도 불구하고, 국내에서 이 주제를 다룬 연구가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 전자 및 정보통신 기술은 운동장애, 시각장애, 청각장애, 인지장애 등이 있는 다양한 경우에 기존의 보편적 디자인을 보완할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to establish a crime prevention system through the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The research method went through the double diamond process and discovered the user's needs through the persona analysis. The most representative features are the functions that informs users of the safe and optimal route, checks the presence of streetlights or cctvs in real time to update them, and allows people with similar routs to return home together. It is a function to help safe return home with the help of an autonomous method, and a self-defense function to protect themselves. Therefore, the application presented in this study was intended to be of great help when actually returning home by adding these new functions. In particular, we help users to return home most safely by recommending the best safe route. Through the persona analysis, research method which we had chosen, the needs of users were discovered and implemented in a design that reflected those needs and requirements.

오피스의 개념이 바뀌면서 그 기능과 역할이 축소되고, 가정이 곧 사무실 화하는 업무형태가 주목을 받고 있다. SOHO(Small Office Home Ofice)라고 불리우고 있는 '가정내의 사무실' 즉 '홈 오피스'는 정보통신기술의 발달로 인해 가능해졌고, 기업의 리스트럭처링(Restructuring)붐을 타고 날로 확산 추세에 있다. 재택 근무 형태는 직원에게 여유 있는 시간과 집중력을 배가시킨 업무효율을, 기업에는 고정비용의 감소와 생산성 향상을 제공한다. 또한 교통문제나 환경문제를 해소할 수 있고, 여성이나 고령자, 장애자 등의 잠재 노동력을 활용할 수 있는 장점도 있다. 향후 업무형태의 주종을 이룰 것으로 예상되는 홈 오피스의 공간계획, 가구배치 등 디자인상의 문제를 연구하여 재택 근무자 들에게 효율적인 업무수행을 높이고 창조적인 환경을 제공하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 또한 합리적인 홈 오피스 가구디자인을 위해서는 건축, 인테리어 디자이너는 물론 정보통신 전문가, 고용문제 전문가 등 관련 분야의 전문가들이 공동으로 연구 추진되어야 할 것이다.
