  • With the explosive growth of smart phones and efficiency, the Android of an open mobile operating system is gradually increasing in the use and the availability. Android systems has proven its availability and stability in the mobile devices, the home appliances's operating systems, the IoT products, and the mechatronics. However, as the usability increases, the malicious code based on Android also increases exponentially. Unlike ordinary PCs, if malicious codes are infiltrated into mobile products, mobile devices can not be used as a lock and can be leaked a large number of personal contacts, and can be lead to unnecessary billing, and can be cause a huge loss of financial services. Therefore, we proposed a method to detect and delete malicious files in real time in order to solve this problem. In this paper, we also designed a method to detect and delete malicious codes in a more effective manner through the process of installing Android-based applications and signature-based malicious code detection method. The method we proposed and designed can effectively detect malicious code in a limited resource environment, such as mobile environments.

  • An ECG analysis with activity monitoring for the home care of elderly persons or patients, using wireless sensors technology was design and implemented. The changes in heart rate occur before, during, or following behavior such as posture changes, walking and running. Therefore, it is often very important to record heart rate along with posture and behavior, for continuously monitoring a patient's cardiovascular regulatory system during their daily life activity. The ECG and accelerometer data are continuously recorded with a built-in automatic alarm detection system, for giving early alarm signals even if the patient is unconscious or unaware of cardiac arrhythmias. The hardware allows data to be transmitted wirelessly from on-body sensors to a base station attached to server PC using IEEE802.15.4. If any abnormality un at server then the alarm condition sends to the doctor' PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).

  • The docking and in silico ligand screening procedures can select small sets of lead -like candidates from large libraries of either commercially or synthetically available compounds; however, the vast number of such molecules make the potential size of this task enormous. To accelerate the discovery of drugs to inhibit several targets, we have exploited massively distributed computing to screen compound libraries virtually. The Korea@HOME project was launched in Feb. 2002, and one year later, more than 1200 PC's have been recruited. This has created a 31 -gigaflop machine that has already provided more than 1400 hours of CPU time. It has all owed databases of millions of compounds to be screened against protein targets in a matter of days. Now, the virtual screening software suitable for distributed environments is developed by BMD. It has been evaluated in terms of the accuracy of the scoring function and the search algorithm for the correct binding mode.

  • ZigBee networks developed for low power and short range communication are being used as home network solution for ubiquitous computing. However, as smart phones and tablet PCs have been widely used, WLANs which use same frequency with ZigBee networks have been increasingly used. Therefore, radio frequency interference causes many problems. To solve radio frequency interference problem among ZigBee networks and WLANs, many researches focus on designing interference minimization schemes in ZigBee networks. However, existing schemes have problems that have waste of resource for detecting interference, and have unnecessary time to avoid interference. In this paper, we propose an interference minimization scheme to solve radio frequency interference in ZigBee networks. The proposed scheme detects interference using ACK mechanism to reduce waste of resource, and avoids interference using table driven channel hopping scheme which is faster than existed schemes. The performance of proposed interference minimization scheme is evaluated by using OPNET simulator. Through the simulation result, we prove that proposed scheme has faster channel hopping than existing schemes.
