본 논문은 홈 네트워크 환경에서 무선 센서 네트워크를 이용하여 홈 네트워크 서비스를 제공하는 서비스 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 서비스 모델은 댁내에 고정 센서 노드들을 배치하고 사용자에게 부착 가능한 센서 노드로 무선 센서 네트워크를 구성한다. 홈 서버에는 등록된 사용자 선호도 프로파일과 센서 노드들로부터 수집된 데이터를 데이터베이스로 구축한다. 이 데이터를 상황정보로 분석하여 사용자 개개인의 선호도에 따라 댁내 가전기기들을 자동 설정하고 자동 제어하는 서비스를 제공한다. 제안된 방식은 리눅스 환경에서 MySQL 데이터베이스가 내장된 홈 서버와 TinyOS가 탑재된 센서 노드들을 사용하여 구현하고 서비스를 테스트한다.

Radio wave is the valuable resources in $21^{st}$ century. It will be widely used in various applications such as DMB, USN, telematics, and home network as well as mobile and wireless communications. Cognitive Radio technology is devised to maximize the utilization of radio resources by sensing near-by spectrum and dynamic and allocating free resources dynamically and adaptively. Wireless links for the secondary user need to be frequently switched to idle frequencies during the transmission of multimedia data in the cognitive radio based system. This may cause delay and information loss, and QoS degradations occur inevitably. The efficient frequency allocation scheme is necessary to support the seamless multimedia service to the secondary user while maintaining QoS of the primary user. This paper suggests a frequency selection scheme which considers other parameters such as cell load, data rate, and available bandwidth than just received signal strength during the frequency selection process. The performance of our proposed scheme is analyzed by simulation.

Towards the deployment of 3rd generation systems, Virtual Home Environment (VHE), stemming from 3GPP, appears to be a powerful concept advocating the provision and delivery of personalized services to roaming users across network and terminal boundaries. This paper aims to expose the pathway for materializing the VHE concept, via the specification, implementation and evaluation of a prototype. Core aspects for realizing the concept such as the business and roaming models are presented, while a VHE enabling architecture utilizing key technologies (OSA/Parlay, MExE, and USAT) is introduced. The proposed architecture has already been evaluated by performing an initial trial demonstration. Currently it is being extended to support VHE service provision to roaming users, an aspect to be addressed by the final trial.

IEEE1394는 디지털 멀티미디어 디바이스를 위한 표준 인터페이스 프로토콜로 집안내의 엔터테인먼트 네트웍을 구성하고 있다. 홈 내의 콘트롤 디바이스와 멀티미디어 디바이스를 통하여 홈 네트웍을 구성하기 위해서는 IEEE1394와 TCP／IP를 모두 지원할 수 있는 구조가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE1394 프로토콜 기반 서비스와 TCP 기반 서비스 사이의 상호 연동을 제공할 수 있는 구조를 제공하기 위해서 기존의 지니 시스템의 룩업 서비스를 확장하여 홈 엔터테인먼트 네트웍을 쉽게 구성할 수 있는 구조를 보인 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 구조는 TCP／IP와 IEEE1394사이의 정보 교환을 위해 큐 메커니즘을 사용하여 IEEE1394 기기도 지니 네트웍에 손쉽게 연결되도록 하였고 이는 TCP／IP를 사용하는 지니 네트웍 기술을 확장함으로써 이루어 졌다.

서브 시스템의 구조와 기능 요소 및 관련 신호 프로토콜에 대해 기술하고 있다. IM 서비스란 이동가입자에게 하부에 IP 전송 프로토콜을 기반으로 하는 다양한 형태의 패킷 서비스들을 동시에 제공하는 것을 말한다. 이를 위해 3GPP에서 제시하고 있는 논리적인 ALL IP 망 구조는 IM CN 서브시스템을 포함하고 있는데, IM CN 서브시스템의 중요한 기능 요소로는 Call Session Control Function(CSCF)와 Home Subscriber Server(HSS) 등이 있다. CSCF는 가입자가 위치하고 있는 망에 따라서 가입자의 세션과 서비스를 제어한다. HSS는 가입자의 마스터 데이터베이스로 기존의 3G HLR의 모든 기능과 User Mobility Server(UMS) 기능을 가진다. 본 고에서는 위의 두 기능 요소들의 기능과 상호 간의 시그널링 프로토콜을 최신 동향을 기반으로 분석하고 기본적인 시그널링 절차도 기술한다.

With opening of KTX, Korea Railway have carried out a variety of marketing strategies unprecedented, which have brought successful results for dramatical increasing passengers in KTX from 72 thousand passengers per day in 2004 to 85 thousand passengers per day in 2005. These marketing strategies for Korea Rail to use in increasing passengers for KTX are the following: special discount fare system for non-season to penetrate into transport market in the first time, fare system reform considering to customers' willing to pay, new item development by each specific market like contracting transport, YMS(Yield Management System) by stages, Home-ticket-and-e-ticket and tele-marketing service, and wide range covering sales network making it comfortable for users in KTX. This paper discusses these successful marketing strategies and its performance and finally suggests strategic implications for KTX growth.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the caregiving and adaptation in families who awarded on filial piety. Using the qualitative methods-in depth interview genogram ecomap participation observation- 8 families were analyzed The major findings can be summarized as follows (1) These families showed very high family solidarity with strong collectivity. Their family role was interchangable and their familiarity was passed down from generation to generation. (2) Family members showed similar coping patterns on the basis of their own adaptationl Their coping was inclined toward acceptance especially religioous rather than emotional-focused ad hardly avoidance coping. (4) Although their economic emotional and service cares were family-centered with helps from their extended family household equipment for elder care was not prepared. (5) These families preferred to maintain this condition rather than to be well adapted. It was concluded that to help failed elder's family care iving social support program should be complemented in family life enrichment program for their children medical care program equipment rental program for elder in social network religion program and so on, Social norms forparent-children relation has be changed to more flexible care pattern. Also more social-emotional support has to be given to these families.

유비쿼터스 환경의 필수 부분인 홈 네트워크는 많은 서비스들을 가지고 생활 곳곳에 파고들고 있다. 정부의 IT839정책을 기반으로 홈 네트워크의 실용화와 구체적인 정책을 형성하기 위해 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 국내와 해외의 홈 네트워크 융성 정책 비교, 고객의 홈 네트워크 서비스 별 선호도를 비롯하여 최근에는 홈 네트워크 서비스의 사용의도와 관련한 연구들까지 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구들을 바탕으로 홈 네트워크 사용의도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 조사하고 이 관계에 있어서 인구통계 변수인 연령과 인터넷 사용량의 조절효과를 측정해보았다. 그리고 홈 네트워크를 자동화 서비스, 안전 서비스, 엔터테인먼트 서비스 세 집단으로 나누고 각각을 따로 분석하였다. 분석 집단은 현재 운영되고 있는 홈 네트워크 서비스를 직접 사용해 본 경험이 있는 아파트 거주자이다. 분석 결과 연령이 높을수록 홈 엔터테인먼트 서비스 사용 시 서비스의 사용용 이성과 보안성이 중요하게 작용하였다. 또한 인터넷 사용량이 많은 집단은 홈 자동화 서비스의 사용 시 해당 서비스로부터 얻을 수 있는 효용, 편익을 중요시 여겼다.

최근 인터넷을 이용한 기술이 급격히 증가하고 초고속 인터넷이 보급 되면서 각 가정은 예전에 사용하던 극히 제약적인 모뎀의 속도에서 벗어나 높은 대역폭을 받는 서비스를 이용하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 유선망과 무선망을 복합적으로 이용해 가정에서 다양한 멀티미디어를 사용할 수 있도록 네트워크 환경을 갖추는 방법을 제시하며 이들을 통합 구현 함으로써 다양한 서비스 모델을 제시하고자 한다. TV 방송과 무선랜을 이용하여 스트리밍 서비스를 댁내에서 받을 수 있도록 하였으며 외부 망과의 연동으로 예약, 시청 등을 할 수 있으며 정보 가전을 제어할 수 있도록 설계되었다.

본 논문에서는 UPnP로 홈 게이트웨이를 구성하기 위한 미들웨어를 구성하고 UPnP 기반의 홈 미디어 서버를 구성하여, 유선 인터넷 망을 이용해서 홈 네트워크 상의 저장소에 저장되어 있는 미디어 자원들을 원격지 클라이언트에 실시간 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 구성된 홈 네트워크상의 액세스 포인터를 통해 IP통신을 이용하여 Mobile 디바이스들을 통한 미디어 자원들의 스트링밍 서비스를 받는 네트워크 구현 사례를 소개한다.
