This paper introduces a novel concept of 'A Green LED Sensitivity Lighting System' which can automatically estimate QoS(quality of service) and emotional requirements of user using smart phone. And it can intelligently control ambient illumination lamp to conserve electric energy and to satisfy human sensitivity. The proposed system has 4 control modes; emotional lighting, smart lighting, green lighting and realistic lighting modes in order to comfort man's emotion, to maximize work efficiency, to save energy consumption and to make the entertainment more fun, respectively. When we choose green lighting mode for indoor office situations, an elaborate simulation shows that the proposed system with home network can reduce the energy by 50% compared to conventional light control system with a fixed time-based switching.

일반적으로 홈 게이트웨이는 가정 내 PC와 인터넷 가전 모두에 대해 공유 인터넷 액세스가 가능하도록 통신 서비스와 홈게이트웨이 자체의 보안 및 홈 오토메이션과 같은 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 추가로 미래에 제공되어야 할 여러 서비스를 위해서는 현재 개발되는 홈 게이트웨이는 모듈식 아키텍쳐를 기반으로 해야 할 것이다. 이와 같은 홈 게이트웨이를 구현하기 위해서는 독창적이고 확장 가능한 하드웨어 플랫폼은 물론, 운영체제 및 애플리케이션의 업그레이드와 새로운 서비스의 배치를 가능케 해주는 강건한 파일 시스템을 포함해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 홈 게이트웨이 기능 및 새로운 서비스 추가 및 관리에 용이한 개방형 표준인 OSGi(Open Service Gateway Initiative)를 기반으로 한 홈게이트웨이를 설계하고, 본 플랫폼을 통한 댁내 가전제어를 위해 센서네트워크와 연동하여 실제 댁내에 부착된 액추에이터 센서노드를 제어할 수 있도록 개발했다. 가전제어를 위한 S/W는 OSGi 상에서 서비스 번들로 개발하였으며 언제 어디에서든 해당 번들을 다운받아 홈 제어가 가능하다.

Recently, E-Commerce demands an integrated solution for online and off-line provided to customers on wired / wireless network and various mobile devices. Our E-commerce platform can use anytime, anywhere, for all consumers. And, it can take convenient and secure E-commerce service in mobile environment. So, we will implement a software platform base on the mobile environment that independent of the mobile OS. Particularly, our E-commerce platform is based on 3D GIS information for 3D electronic map. So, all users (customers) have got the more visible convenience. And, by using the e-catalog DB cloud server, off-line store operators can be built the online home-page easily. From now on our E-commerce platform based on 3D GIS can be usable at various E-commerce areas in the ubiquitous environment.

사용자의 지리적 위치에 기반한 서비스를 제공하는 위치 기반 서비스는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 중요한 응용이 되고 있으며, 이와 관련하여 다양한 연구들이 계속 진행 중이다. 기존의 연구들이 사용자의 위치 정보와 해당하는 서비스들의 단순 연결에 불과했다면, 본 논문에서는 사용자와 디바이스 간의 상호작용 정보를 기반으로 병합적 클러스터링 알고리즘을 이용하여 사용자의 위치에서 가장 적합한 지능적인 서비스를 제공하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 네트워크 및 시스템 측면에서 incoming traffic의 QoS 보장하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 네트워크 측면에서는 outgoing traffic을 위한 처리율이 현재 incoming traffic의 처리율에 따라 동적으로 수정되도록 하였으며 시스템 측면에서는 incoming traffic중 홈 게이트웨이를 최종 목적지로 하는 트래픽을 처리하는 프로세스의 우선순위 및 CPU 사용량을 수정하도록 하였다. 테스트 베드 상에서 실험 결과를 통하여 제안한 방법이 incoming traffic의 QoS를 보장함을 확인하였다.

It is the advantage of PLC that digitalization and networking of existing facility can be organized at low price because there is no need further construction of communication line considering that home appliance, information device and various kind of control devices are digitalized at low price. Moreover, AMR(Automatic Meter Reading) is very attractive to utility company because not only does it reduce the cost of reading meter, but also it can control and monitor the demand for energy. Recently, the importance of the living environment for elderly people and its network is increasing. At the same time, the small-scale and multi-functional apartment house in which they can live is continuously required in Japan. For these reasons, it is appearing a new type of housing, Group-Living, where one lives together with others. It represents a way of communal living which is based on service at home. There are various problems such as felicity of each space, connections between the different areas, insufficiency of positioning on the aged welfare. Hence this research targets are grasp the present condition of Group-Living, to inquire the Space composition and types of it in Tokyo Area, and to suggest the direction of improvement of the small-scale and multi-functional apartment house for the aged.

본 논문은 지니 네트웍 프로토콜을 TCP/IP 기반에서 IEEE 1394로 확장하여 IEEE 1394와 TCP/IP를 동시에 지원하는 홈 네트웍에서의 지니 룩업 서비스 구조 및 방법에 관한 것으로, IEEE 1394 프로토콜 기반 서비스와 TCP 기반 서비스 사이의 상호 연동을 제공할 수 있는 구조를 제공하기 위해 기존의 지니 시스템의 룩업 서비스를 확장하여 홈 엔터테인먼트 네트웍을 쉽게 구성할 수 있도록 한다. 즉, 본 논문에서는 자바 기반 네트웍 미들웨어 구조에 IEEE 1394 네트웍과 TCP/IP 네트웍간 채널링을 수행하는 SLCH를 구현하여 IEEE 1394와 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 모두 지원 가능하도록 함으로써, TCP/IP와 IEEE 1394 사이의 정보 교환을 위해 큐 메카니즘을 사용하여 IEEE 1394 기기도 지니 네트웍에 손쉽게 연결되도록 함으로서, 서로 다른 종류의 네트웍을 지원하는 클라이언트나 서비스 제공자사이의 서비스 이용이 가능하게 되는 이점이 있다.

댁내 데이터 서비스는 이종망으로 이루어진 댁내 네트워크와 정보가전의 다양성으로 인해 데이터의 상호운용성(Data Interoperability)을 유지하기가 어렵다. 이 논문에서는 댁내 데이터의 상호운용성의 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative)라는 미들웨어를 소개하고 이를 통한 데이터베이스로의 접근 방법을 제시하였다. OSGi는 현재 업계 표준 (De Factor Standard)으로 홈 네트워킹을 관리 운영하기 위해 다양한 이종망을 한번에 다룰 수 있는 미들웨어솔루션으로 현재까지도 표준화 작업중에 있다 .본 노문에서는 구체적으로 이 미들웨어를 통한 데이터의 상호 운용성을 보장하면서 각 데이터베이스 관리 시스템에 접근 방식이 어떻게 구현되어야 하는지에 대한 각종 문제점을 살펴보고, 이에 대한 해결방안을 제안하였다.

분산 네트웍환경하에서 코바의 네이밍 서비스는 네임 서버에 저장한 논리적 이름을 통해서 객체의 위치 정보를 얻는다. 이 방식은 서버의 물리적인 위치 변화에 상관없이 객체의 위치 투명성을 제공한다. 그러나 기존의 네이밍 서비스의 기능은 단순히 데이터베이스 역할만 할 뿐, 동적인 환경 하에서 서버와 클라이언트간의 유동적인 실효정보를 업데이트 하지못하고 네임 서버도 하나의 중앙 집중서버 구조로 되어있어서 홈 네트웍상에서 룸 단위의 디바이스 정보를 처리하는데 있어서 적합하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고 분산형홈 네트웍 환경에 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 OMG 네이ald 서비스를 기반으로 하여 새로운 네임 서버구조를 설계하고 디바이스 정보를 효율적으로 제공할 수 있는 모델을 제시한다.
