The need of Home-Office is increasing according to the technology and communication system being developed. It is necessary to develop space program and home furniture design for Home-Office. The purpose of this study was to investigate sjpace condition for Home-Office and Home-Office furniture, and to examine preference and opinion on Home-Office. The results this study can be summarized as follows: 1) An isolated space such as a study was the most preferred for Home-Office. The proper size of Home-Office space in residential interior was over 3.3m$\times$3m. 2) The system furniture which is enable to store OA system, and to have efficient work space was preferred. 3) The preferred color of system furniture was natural wood tone, and the most preferred color of chair was blue. 4) It was assumed that the possibility of Home-Office is increased in the new future.

The development of technology provides and increases security as well as convenience for humans. The development of new technology directly affects the standard of life thanks to smart home automatic control systems. This paper describes a door control, automatic curtain, home security (CCTV, fire, gas, safe, etc.), home control (energy, light, ventilation, etc.) and web-based smart home automatic controller. It also describes the use of ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) for automatic control of home equipment, a Multi-Axes Servo Controller using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and PLC (programmable logic controller). Additionally, it describes the development of a HTML editor using web auto control software. The tab loading time (7 seconds) is faster when using ARM-based web browser software instead of Chrome and Firefox is used because the browser has a small memory footprint (300M). This system is realized by web auto controller language which controls and uses PLCs that are easier than existing devices. This smart home automatic control technology can control smart home equipment anywhere and anytime and provides a remote interface through mobile equipment.

홈 네트워크에서 요구되는 보안 서비스는 홈의 정의에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 그리고 댁내에 어떠한 홈 네트워크 기술들이 포함될 것인가에 따라 달라진다. 홈 네트워크에서는 다양한 디바이스들이 네트워크에 연결되어 있다. 이러한 홈 디바이스들은 외부의 공격으로부터 안전하지 않은 환경에 존재하게 된다. 따라서 홈 디바이스 내에 저장되어 있는 비밀정보를 보호하기 위한 요소들이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 홈 네트워크 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 홈 디바이스 내의 비밀정보를 보호하기 위한 시스템을 설계하고자 한다.

The needs for the home care of postpartum mothers and their infants are increasing, but the quality control of home care nurses is not developed yet. The objective of this study is to develop assessment - intervention algorithms for the home care of postpartum mothers and their infants. We can use these algorithms when we assess the client's condition, and find appropriate nursing interventions. Also, these algorithms can offer guidelines for home care nurses, so that standardization of home care can be attained. Common problems for postpartum mothers are postpartum hemorrhage, abnormal vaginal discharge(endometritis), episiotomy pain, breast problems, breastfeeding difficulty, edema, urinary dysfunction and defecation difficulties. Also, commom problems for infants are abnormal body temperature, tarchycardia, respiratory problem, neonatal jaundice, cord problem, abnormal stool, breast feeding, and bathing. These algorithms can be used as a basis for the development of computerized infomation system for the home health care.

The purposes of this study are 1) to identify the position and the problems of Home Economics in Elementary School, and 2) to propose orientation for the future curriculum revision. Elementary Home Economics, historically, has been partially practiced as a part of Practical Arts Education. As a results, the nature of Home Economics Education has been distorted and lacked the disciplinary consistency with Middle School Home Economics Education： the curriculum of Home Economics Education ignored the importance of the understanding family life as well as underscored the technical skills. The identified status and problems has on implication for the subject’s further development. The propositions for Elementary Home Economics Education which has the original intention, are as follows：(1) the curriculum of Practical Arts Education must be built on theorectical base and criteria. (2) the name of subject, Practical Arts Education, must be changed to [Technology$.$Home Economics]. (3) the contents of the subject must be practical which to promote motivations and interest of students.

In this Paper telemetering system for home automation is Proposed and implemented. Proposed and developed systems are composed with a home server and a few clients which send metering data of gas electric power water and home security to home server using power line communication. Management computer located in office of apartment complex collects all kinds of measured home data from each home server with multi drop communication by UDP Protocol A simple ASK method is used for power line communication Collected data from each home can be used for issuing the bill of each house and web service. The experiments were carried out under laboratory environment using various kinds of electric home appliances to ascertain the performance.

This paper is about implementation of intelligent robot based on home network. Existing robots are mainly stand alone type. Home network is spreading rapidly and can play an important role as a path for informations between appliances in home. Robot can be more intelligent and have versatile functions with a junction of home network. By distribution of tasks through home network, robot doesn't have to process every task. In addition, robot can access to appliances through network as appliances are added continuously. In the future, smart space in which robot behaves on various types of network is in expectation. In this research, home network based system which consists of home server, embedded robot, and intelligent robot is proposed and implemented.

The purpose of this study is to review the concept of home-based work, introduce the activities of American home economists on home-based work and propose the tasks of family resource management for home-based work. Home-based works is defined as the work which generates income at home and classified 3 types: home-based business, employed home-based work and homework. The activities of American scholars are reviewed focusing on the Coorperative Regional Research Project, NE-167, entitled "At-Home Income Generation: Impact on Management, Productivity and Stability in Rural/Urban Families"and the participants of the project. Finally the tasks of family resource management are pursued in terms of research, education and service.d service.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of self-confidence and satisfaction level in teaching home economics between home economics majored teachers(HET) and other subject majored teachers(OST). The subjects of this study were 192 home economics teachers randomly selected from 96 middle schools all over the country. The data was collected from 16, september to 12, October, 1996, and was analyzed with descriptive statistics, crosstables, and t-test using SAS program. The major finding were as follows: 1) In general, home econimics is taught mostly by OST in boy' middle school. 92% of OST is employed in boy' middle school and 89.13% of them is employed in private boy' middle school. 2) OST had less in-service experiences than HET on sixth revised curriculum, and had lower recognition than HET on the goal, content, teaching method, evaluation of home economics. 3) There were significant difference on the level of self-confidence and satisfaction in teaching home economics between HET and OST.

The purpose of this study is try to suggest the practical trend of Home Economics Education by analyzing the trends of subject matter education in it. To do this, this study analyzed 115 articles published on The Journal of Korea Home Economics Education Association and The Journal of Korean Home Economics Association. Through this analyzing them, it is found out that teaching-teaming method and teaching materials are trend to be mainly concerned. But recently evaluation study and teacher education study in Home Economics Education have been increased. As a result, Home Economics Education needs to develop the speciality of Home Economics Education as a subject matter education.
