VOD 서버의 네트워크 입출력 대역폭의 효율적인 사용을 위한 동적 혼성 패칭 (Dynamic Hybrid Patching for the Efficient Use of VOD Server's Network-I/O Bandwidth)

  • 본 논문에서는 VOD 비디오 서버의 제한된 네트워크-입출력 대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하기 위해 탐욕 패칭과 점진 패칭의 장점을 취하여 VOD 시스템의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 동적 혼성 패칭 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 요청 도착 간격이 패칭 윈도우의 크기보다 작은 비디오 요청은 점진 패칭을 사용하며 나머지 비디오 요청은 탐욕 패칭을 사용한다. 더욱이 제안한 패칭 기법은 탐욕 패칭을 개선시키기 위해 최근의 특정 패칭 멀티캐스트를 정규 멀티캐스트로 확장한다. 그 결과 새로운 요청을 위한 패칭 멀티캐스트 데이터가 비디오의 시작부터 스큐 지점까지로 되어 디스패치된 채널의 사용 시간이 대폭 감소된다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안한 기법이 점진 패칭보다 이탈율과 평균 서비스 지연시간에 있어서 우수함을 보여준다.

나노구조를 기반으로 하는 Bi2Te3 소결과 그 시간에 따른 열전 특성 (The Effect of Sintering on the Thermoelectric Properties of Bulk Nanostructured Bismuth Telluride (Bi2Te3))

  • Thermoelectric materials have been the topic of intensive research due to their unique dual capability of directly converting heat into electricity or electrical power into cooling or heating. Bismuth telluride ($Bi_2Te_3$) is the best-known commercially used thermoelectric material in the bulk form for cooling and power generation applications In this work we focus on the large scale synthesis of nanostructured undoped bulk nanostructured $Bi_2Te_3$ materials by employing a novel bottom-up solution-based chemical approach. Spark plasma sintering has been employed for compaction and sintering of $Bi_2Te_3$ nanopowders, resulting in relative density of $g{\cdot}cm^{-3}$ while preserving the nanostructure. The average grain size of the final compacts was obtained as 200 nm after sintering. An improved NS bulk undoped $Bi_2Te_3$ is achieved with sintered at $400^{\circ}C$ for 4 min holding time.

공급사슬상의 분산 제조 시스템의 통합생산계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Integrated Production Planning of Distributed Manufacturing Systems on Supply Chain)

  • As the globalization of manufacturing companies continues, the scope of dependence between these companies and distributors, and other suppliers are growing very rapidly since no one company manufactures or distributes the whole product by themselves. And, the need to increase the efficiency of the whole supply chain is increasing. This paper deals with a multi-plant lot-sizing problem(MPLSP) which happens in a decentralized manufacturing system of a supply chain. In this study, we assume that the whole supply chain is driven by a single source of independent demand and many levels of dependent demands among manufacturing systems in the supply chain. We consider setup cost, transportation cost and time, and inventory holding cost as a decision factor in the MPLSP. The MPLSP is decomposed into two sub-problems: a planning problem of the whole supply chain and a lot-sizing problem of each manufacturing system. The supply chain planning problem becomes a pure linear programming problem and a Generalized Goal Decomposition method is used to solve the problem. Its result is used as a goal of the lot-sizing problem. The lot-sizing problem is solved using the CPLEX package, and then the coefficients of the planning problem are updated reflecting the lot-sizing solution. This procedure is repeated until termination criteria are met. The whole solution process is similar to Lagrangian relaxation method in the sense that the solutions are approaching the optimum in a recursive manner. Through experiments, the proposed closed-loop hierarchical planning and traditional hierarchical planning are compared to optimal solution, and it is shown that the proposed method is a very viable alternative for solving production planning problems of decentralized manufacturing systems and in other areas.

대전지역 학교급식 영양사의 HACCP 직무관련 수행도 평가 (Perceived Performance of HACCP for School Foodservice Managers in Daejeon)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve the sanitary management of school foodservice. A survey questionnaire was administered to 153 dietitians from elementary, middle and high schools in the Daejeon area. The questions were categorized into four fields: 'General characteristics', 'Facility and equipment set up at the schools studied', 'Performance of CCP(criticai control point)s' and 'Reasons of barriers to HACCP(hazard analysis of critical control points) implementation'. The results were as follows. Most of the subjects were the dietitians of elementary school(56.9%), were university graduates(51.0%) and were in their thirties(58.2%). The average length of their career had been 5.8 years. The average ratio of students per dietitian was 1,163. The average ratio of students per full-time employee was 124. The ratio of self-operated management was 90.2 %. The CCP7(assembling and serving) received the highest performance score, while the performance score of CCP2(management of potentially hazardous foods) was the lowest. Eighty-four percent of the surveyed school foodservices did not have pre-preparation rooms. The school foodservice operations were not well equipped with hot/cold holding equipments. Self-operated management scored higher on almost all sections(CCP1-CCP7). Contracted management scored highest on CCP8. The higher the age and career of the subject were, the higher were all the CCP performance scores. The reasons of barriers to HACCP implementation were lack of understanding of standards CCP1 and CCP2, workers' lack of cooking knowledge, and lack of information about school foodservice.

충무공 해상대전 e-sports대회를 접목한 성웅 이순신 축제의 성공 사례 (A Successful Case of the 'Great Admiral Yisunsin Festival' that Integrates 'Chungmugong e-sports Competition')

  • 지방자치단체의 경영개념이 도입되면서 지역경제 활성화와 도시마케팅수단으로서의 지역 문화축제의 개최는 이제 각 지역마다 필수적인 수단이 되었다. 각 지자체마다 각 지역의 특성을 살린 차별화된 축제의 기획으로 단기간 최대의 효과를 얻으려고 노력하고 있다. 하지만, 많은 축제들이 비슷한 프로그램 기획으로 차이점을 보이지 않고 특성화를 꾀하지 못하고 있다. 아산시에서는 매년 4월 이순신 장군의 탄생일을 시작으로 '성웅 이순신 축제'를 개최하고 있다. 다른 축제와 차별화를 꾀하고 다양한 계층을 유입하기 위해 아산시는 호서대학교 게임공학과와 '충무공 해상대전' 온라인 게임을 만들어 이를 소재로 e-sports대회를 개최하였다. 그 결과 기존 축제와 e-sports대회의 결함이란 새로운 시도라는 평가와 함께 축제의 소외계층이었던 청소년들을 대거 축제 안으로 끌어들일 수 있었으며 축제의 다양성과 흥행에 이바지 할 수 있었다.

일산화탄소에 기인한 Delayed Neuropsychiatric Sequalae 환자에서 발생한 사지 불완전마비 증례보고 1례 (Delayed Neuropsychiatric Sequalae with Reversible Quadriplegia after Carbon Monoxide Intoxication : A Case Report)

  • Carbon monoxide poisoning leads to hypoxia, which eventually leads to tissue ischemia. The delayed neuropsychiatric syndrome can arise in the period from 4 days to 5 weeks following carbon monoxide poisoning. This case report describes a male who suffered from delayed sequelae after self-inflicted carbon monoxide poisoning. At the time of admission, he had symptoms of quadriplegia, both upper limb ankylosis, gait disturbance, and dysuria. He was treated with acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, physical therapy, and Uwhangchungsim-won. Paraplegia improved considerably after 7 days in hospital, and paralysis of the both upper extremities improved after 14 days in hospital. He was able to walk holding on to his wheelchair after 28 days in hospital. He was hospitalized for 55 days and was discharged from the hospital in a fine condition for everyday life. This case report suggests the possibility that korean medicine for delayed neuropsychiatric syndrome.

크리프-피로 손상된 페라이트기 9Cr 내열강의 미세조직 발달과 자기적 특성 (Microstructural Evolution and Magnetic Property of Creep-Fatigued Ferritic 9Cr Heat-Resisting Steel)

  • 보자력 측정을 통하여 페라이트기 9Cr-1Mo-V-Nb 내열강의 크리프-피로변형 동안 미세조직의 변화를 평가하였다. 크리프-피로시험은 $550\;^{\circ}C$에서 각각 인장유지시간을 60초와 600초로 하여 수행 하였다. 보자력은 파단 전까지 감소하였고 경도는 파단 시까지 지속적으로 감소하였다. 크리프-피로 수명소비율이 증가함에 따라서 $M_{23}C_6$ 탄화물은 오스트왈드 성장기구를 따라서 조대화가 나타났지만 MX 탄질화물은 $550\;^{\circ}C$에서 안정하기 때문에 조대화가 나타나지 않았다. 마르텐사이트 래스 폭은 래스경계에서의 전위회복으로 인해 증가하였다. 보자력은 전위, 석출물 그리고 마르텐사이트 래스경계와 같은 미세조직적 특성에 영향을 받게 되며 이를 미세조직변화와 관련하여 이해하였다. 결과적으로, 본 연구는 페라이트기 9Cr-1Mo-V-Nb 내열강의 크리프-피로변형 동안 미세조직의 변화와 손상 정도를 보자력을 통하여 평가하는 것을 제안하였다.

都市大氣의 水銀動態와 影響因子에 關한 硏究 (Study on the Behavior of Gaseous Mercury and its Influencing Factors in Urban AMbient Air)

  • Atmospheric gaseous mercury was automatically measured by a mercury air monitor (Mercury monitor AM-1). The sample air was led to a scrubber and washed with buffer solution, and mercury was trapped with gold coated chromosorb P(AW) was successively eluted by heating the chromosorb and then detected by the cold vapor atomic absorption spectrophotometry. $SO_2, TSP, NO_x, CO, THC$. and some of meteorological factors were also measured simultaneously with mercury. A significant correlation between the concentration of mercury and those of 2,513 measurements, gaseous mercury concentration ranged from 4.73 to 112.8 $ng/m^3$ with an annual mean of 14.7$ng/m^3$ in urban area. At this place there was a clear seasonal variation with a maximuminDecember-January and aminimum in March-June. A secondary maximum existed in August to September. THe seasonal variation was found that the gaseous mercury in ambient air has a tendency to become low in spring and high in winter. Namely, the average of concentration in winter was about two times, 19.2 $ng/m^3$, higher than that in spring. In Seoul mercury levels on some months mainly Septermber-October increase with increasing relative humidity of the atmosphere. In Olympic park air levels were 8.2 (range 4.4-23.7)$ng/m^3$ with an coefficients of variation of 0.34 and in Seoul sports complex those were 7.7 (rnage 4.4-25.5) $ng/m^3$ with an coefficients of variation of 0.38 within the Seoul olympiad holding period of time. A significant diurnal mercury variation occurs both at the measuring sites and in the period of observation.

LIGA 금형몰드를 이용한 Fe-Ni계 나노분말의 초미세 가스베어링 제조 (Manufacturing of Micro Gas Bearing by Fe-Ni Nanopowder and Metal Mold Using LIGA)

  • This paper describes the manufacturing process of tilting pad gas bearing with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 0.5-1 mm for power MEMS (Micro Electomechanical Systems) applications. The bearing compacts with nanopowder feedstock were prepared by Ni-metal mold with 2-mold system using LIGA process. The effect of the manufacturing conditions on sintering properties of nanopowder gas bearing was investigated. In this work, Fe-45 wt%Ni nanopowder with an average diameter of 30-50 nm size was used as starting material. After mixing the nanopowder and the wax-based binders, the amount of powder was controlled to obtain the certain mixing ratio. The nanopowder bearing compacts were sintered with 1-2 hr holding time under hydrogen atmospheres and under temperatures of $600^{\circ}C$ to $1,000^{\circ}C$. Finally, the critical batch of mixed powder system was found to be 70% particle fraction in total volume. The maximum density of the sintered bearing specimen was about 94% of theoretical density.

시뮬레이션에 의한 벼의 누적혼합 상온통풍건조의 송풍기 및 가열기의 운영방법에 관한 연구 (Fan and Heater Management Schemes for Layer Filling and Mixing Drying of Rough Rice with Natural Air by Simulation)

  • This study was performed to determine proper fan and heater management schemes for natural air drying of rough rice in round steel bin with stirring device under Korean weather conditions. A computer simulation model was developed to predict moisture content changes, energy requirements, and drymatter losses during drying of rough rice by natural air. Drying test was conducted to validate the simulation model using round steel bin of holding capacity of 300ton at Rice Processing Complex in Jincheon. The bin was filled with rough rice every day and mixing by stirring device. Moisture contents, ambient air temperatures, relative humidities, static pressures in plenum chamber in the bin, airflow rates, and electrical and fuel energy were measured. Relative errors of moisture content changes predicted by the simulation model were below 5ft, and relative errors of final moisture content, final grain weight, required energy ranged from 0.9% to 6%. These not levels indicated that the simulation model can satisfactorily predict the performance factors of natural air drying system such as drying rates and energr consumptions comparing error level of 10% to 15% in other drying simulation models generally used in dryer desists. Twelve different fan and heater management schemes were evaluated using the computer simulation model based on three hourly weather data from Suweon for the period of 1952-1994. The best management schemes were selected comparing the drymatter losses, required drying times, required energy consumptions. Operating fan without heating only when ambient relative humidity was below 85% or 90% appeared to be the most effective method of In operation in favorable drying weather. Under adverse drying climates or to reduce required drying time, operating fan continuously, and heating air with $1.5^{\circ}C$ temperature rise only when ambient relative humidity was over 85% appeared to be the most suitable method.
