A New Complementary Quadriphase Jacket Sequence with Good Cross Correlation

  • In this paper, a set of new complementary quadriphase sequences based on Jacket matrix is proposed. It is with a good zero cross correlation zone and efficiently eliminates the inter-user interferences for CDMA systems. Unlike the conventional complementary sequence designs, the proposed sequences can be easily extended to large odd and even sizes by using a fast linear transform for multi-user communication systems. The computer simulation shows that the proposed sequences have better performance than conventional multi-user spreading CDMA systems using ZCZ sequence.

  • Integrated performance test of Chemical and Volume Control System was successfully performed in 1994. However, an extensive effort to correct hardware and software problems in the letdown line was required mainly due to the lack of adequate simulation code to predict the test accurately. Although the LTC computer code was used during the YGN 3'||'&'||'4 NSSS design process, the code can not satisfactorily predict the test due to it insufficient letdown line modeling. This study developed a numerical model to simulate the letdown test by modifying the current LTC code, and then verified the model by comparing with the test data. The comparison shows that the modified LTC computer code can predict the transient behavior of letdown system lese very well. Especially, the model was verified to be able to predict the "Stiction (composition of stick and friction)" phenomena which caused instantaneous fluctuations in the letdown backpressure and flowrate. Therefore, it is concluded that the modified LTC computer code with the ability of calculating the "Stiction" phenomena will be very useful for future plant design and test predictions.predictions.

  • 플라즈마 디스플레이용 구동회로에서는 현재 160V의 높은 전압을 이용하고 있다. 이러한 높은 공급전압을 사용하기 위해서는 낮은 전압의 경우보다 높은 단가의 스위칭 소자를 사용할 수 밖에 없다. 따라서 플라즈마 디스플레이 시스템의 가격을 결정하는 데 중요한 요인으로 분석하고 있다. 본 논문에선 이러한 점을 고려하여 공급전압의 저전압화를 위한 한가지 모델을 제시한다. 먼저 본 논문에서 제시한 저전압화 모델을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 가능성을 확인한다. 다음에 실제 시판되고 있는 스위칭 소자를 이용하여 모델의 현실성을 검토한 결과를 제시하여 본 논문에서 제시한 저전압화 모델의 실효성을 입증한다.

  • A HTS(High Temperature Superconductor) Cable is regarded as the most underground power to respond higher power density delivery system. This paper discussed electrical characteristic and standards of HTS Cable system. Various HTS cable characteristics are examined[3-5], ad compared with XLPE cable characteristics on possible distribution system environment. HTS cable is required to stabilize thermal condition for superconducting status, possible improper operating condition which affects quench, unbalanced, and harmonics impacts are discussed. HTS cable is customer designed cable which shall be implemented in special requirement of power system, the standard origination process requires to establish a series of methodology including design manufacturing, testing and installation.

  • In recent years, living space of modern society have vared, and new methods to build have been introduced using new building materials and interior finishing materials as the life level is enhanced. But these kinds of materials release some harmful substances to people. The most of people living in new apartment have headache and dizziness, and feel sick of the stomach, sleepiness, eye stimulus, concentration decrease and allergies. That called 'sick house syndrome'is becoming new society problem. The purpose of this study is to investigate the kinds and various problems of the interior finishing materials and to pursue improvement of living place and pleasant interior surroundings.

  • In this paper, the combined system equation of motion, which can analyze the dynamic interaction between pantograph and catenary system, is derived by adopting absolute nodal coordinates and rigid body coordinates. The analysis results are compared with real experiment data from test running of Korean high-speed train (HSR 350x). In addition, a computation method for the dynamic stress of contact wire is presented using the derived system equation of motion. This method might be good example and significant in that the structural and multibody dynamics model can be unified into one numerical system.

  • This paper describes atmospheric phenomena and effects for satellite-to-ground laser communication channel. Satellite laser communication has advantages such as very high bandwidth, inherent security, robustness to electromagnetic interference, unlicensed frequency band. However, satellite laser communication is affected by various factors. Transmission quality is degraded by factors as system loss, geometric loss, misalignment loss, atmospheric loss. Atmospheric loss is major factor of performance degradation. In this paper, the atmospheric phenomena such as absorption, scattering and turbulence are discussed and analyzed for developing satellite laser channel model and laser transmission scheme robust to atmospheric phenomena.

  • This study is focused on Resider's Preference of Residential Space to improve Residence Unit Plan. Three Rental Housing Complexes in Jeju which supplied by Korea National Housing Corporation(KNHC) were selected for more detailed Resider's Preference research, which were constructed within 5years. Questionnaire of Total 360 sheets were distributed for each Rental Housing Complexes and total 299 sheets were returned. The results of research are as the followings. Generally satisfaction of environment and living area of home is not high. And also it seem that many residers want to live in housing of average 25.87 pyeong in housing scale. In view and direction of housing Especially, many residers tend to select housing that view is better than direction. With based on like this results, it is proposed housing plan's develop and political supports reflected Jeju's culture condition, life style, climate and so on.

  • 인터넷을 통한 검색은 사용자가 찾으려는 정보를 일반적으로 브라우저를 통해 표현해주고 있다. 본 연구서는 웹 사용자에게 기존의 브라우저가 아닌 화면 분할을 통하여 인터넷 사용의 효율을 높이는 방식을 제공하였다. 그 중에 WEB 2.0의 Ajax를 사용하여 웹 페이지를 분할 후 특정 브라우저와 상관없이 복수 페이지의 접근을 가능하게 하고 검색의 효율성을 높이기 위해 하나의 브라우저에서 서로 다른 검색엔진의 Open API가 작동되도록 하였다. 한번의 키워드 입력과 한번의 클릭으로 검색엔진 마다 방문 할 필요없이 하나의 브라우저에서 각각의 검색 결과를 사용자에게 제공해 주도록 하여 검색 시간을 감축하고, 결과를 비교 분석하므로 웹 서핑의 효율성을 높여주는 시스템을 구현하였고 이를 입증하였다.
