Over the past 100 years, since the establishment of the modern medical education system in the early 1900s, the results of extensive field research and practice in North American medical schools and professional education have led the flow of medical education around the world. In this study, the direction of medical education in North America over the past 100 years were examined through major literature review, leading to implications and suggestions for Korean medicine education. The "Medical Education in the United States and Canada" published by the Carnegie Educational Foundation in 1910, which is considered to have laid the foundation for modern health care education, was reviewed. Next, "Educating physician: A Call for Reform of Medical School and Residency", published in 2010, which is known to have proposed a future-oriented goal for the training of medical professionals has been analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Acquisition and utilization of biomedical knowledge which is the basis of clinical competence, is a basic competency that should be provided to future medical professionals. 2) Beyond education to cultivate clinical competence of individuals directly affecting the medical treatment, various professionalism education programs that capture the specificity of Korean Medicine doctors should be established and strengthened.

Park Tae Won is one of the physicians that participated in the treatment of King Injo in "承政院日記(Seungjeongwonilgi, official records of incidents during the Joseon Dynasty)". The purpose of this study is to look into the forms of actual medical treatment, social status and activities of the physicians at that time by organizing Park Tae Won's records as a physician and his other works. Park Tae Won was originally an acupuncturist for the royal medical department but he performed other activities such as actual diagnosis and drug prescriptions. More concretely it seems that he used methods mentioned in "鍼灸經驗方(Chimgugyungjeonbang)". Park Tae Won held concurrent positions as royal physician as well as provincial governor. It is suspected that physicians were named provincial governors of metropolitan areas so that they could be brought in immediately when in need and so that the capital centered medical service could be distributed to other provinces. We can also presume that the appointment of physicians as provincial governors was part of the government policy to efficiently distribute aid to the common people. From this study we can conclude that the physicians of that time did not commit solely to their jobs but also held important social positions that led the Joseon society.

The purpose of this study is to examine the prescription of Geoseohwajung-tang which often appears in Kim Yeoung-hun's medical records and how he employed this prescription. Geoseohwajung-tang is a prescription that can be found in no books of medicine in East Asia other than Kim Yeoung-hun's medical records, his posthumous work, Cheongganguigam, and Seungjeongwon Ilki, the diaries of royal secretariat of the Joseon dynasty. It was mostly used for digestive problems resulted from eating wrong food in summer and diversely applied by changing the composition of the medicinal ingredients according to the patient's symptoms. To see how Geoseohwajung-tang was used clinically, the researcher analyzed Kim Yeoung-hun's medical records written in 1915~1924. Among his total 21,369 medical records, 549 ones included Geoseohwajung-tang, and all of them were in July to September, so we can see that it was a prescription for the summer season. The use of the prescription was not highly related with the patient's gender, occupation, or age. The names of the diseases are mostly diarrhea, dysentery, acute vomiting with diarrhea, and all of them are highly related with diarrhea. The causes of them are mostly summer-heat, dampness, and food poison.

This research aims to find a way to utilize the literature to select the herbs to be added or subtracted according to the condition of the patient after determining the basic prescription to be used for the patient. The study is based on data concerning the herbal composition and application of prescriptions described in the Donguibogam. The composition herbs was expressed as a weight ratio, the standard deviation of the weight ratio was calculated for each prescription, and the case where the weight ratio was greater than the base value (highest weight ratio - standard deviation) was designated as a principal herb. The various expressions of applications were changed to representative terms by the researcher and used to calculate the frequency. Of the 4,373 prescriptions for Donguibogam, 3,307 were able to be expressed in terms of weight ratios with 640 prescriptions using Rehmannia glutinosa, Cnidium officinale, Angelica gigas and Paeonia lactiflora as the principle herb. Of the 640 prescriptions, 508 prescriptions included applied information. Rehmannia glutinosa can also be used for symptoms such as fetal leakage(胎漏), short ingestion(食少), fever(發熱), dazed expression(眼花). Cnidium officinale can also be used for symptoms such as migraine(偏頭痛), stroke(中風癱瘓), tetanus(破傷風). Angelica gigas can also be used for symptoms such as forgetfulness(健忘), incontinence of urination(小便不通), palpitations(驚悸). Paeonia lactiflora can also be used for symptoms such as heart pain and abdominal pain(心腹痛), cough(咳嗽).

The Web which supplied static information by web page administrator takes big change, recently, since the web service of new concept called 'WikiWiki' appeared. Wiki system can have gotten very active participation of users because everybody who inspect web page can exchange and add page freely. This paper shows that Wiki engine system implemented by XML and XSLT etc., and explains how to manage the history of document change.

We live seeing, touching, or throwing on considerable textile in our life consciously and unconsciously. Since a Korean-style house is a dwelling space in life style of sitting on the floor with ondol(Korean floor heater), use of textile is limited to bedding goods. However, as western life style takes firm root, use of textile for interior design is increasing. As well, as apartments and foreign style houses have gotten lodgment since 1980, life style is being changed rapidly. So, textile became required factors in dining space where little textile existed. Through literature, history of textile is considered and design image concept is created based on the consideration. In addition, the created concept can be applied to various textile design, which can be a good tool to express eating culture of the country as well as the country's image.

In this paper, a numerical application algorithm for applying the CFAM (Consistent Fluid Added Mass) matrix for a core seismic analysis is developed and applied to the 7-ducts core system to investigate the fluid effects on the dynamic characteristics and the seismic time history responses. To this end, three cases such as the in-air condition, the in-water condition without the fluid coupling terms, and the in-water condition with the fluid coupling terms are considered in this paper. From modal analysis, the core duct assemblies revealed strongly coupled out-of-phase vibration modes unlike the other cases with the fluid coupling terms considered. From the results of the seismic time history analysis, it was also verified that the fluid coupling terms in the CFAM matrix can significantly affect the impact responses and the seismic displacement responses of the ducts.

Artificial Intelligence has a long history and is used in various fields including image recognition and automatic translation. Therefore, when we first encounter artificial intelligence, many terms, concepts and technologies often have difficulty in setting or implementing research direction. This study summarized important concepts related to artificial intelligence and summarized the progress of the past 60 years to help researcher suffering from these difficulties. Through this, it is possible to establish the basis for the use of vast artificial intelligence technologies and establish the right direction for research.
