Applying the globalization theory to the fashion phenomena which regarded the phenomena of the contemporary culture as globalization, this study had an object of looking into the globalization tendency of the fashion phenomena shown Paris, London, Milno, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul collections from 1995 to 1999. The results of this study were as follows; 1. It was the blend of romanticism that was the most common trend shown at the six world collections. 2. The works appeared at the six world collections showed the regional peculiarity under the historical background or the sociocultural influence each city had. 3. Another character appeared at the six city collections was the appearance of multi-ethnic style mixed various regional motive at a work. After all, the world fashion phenomena in the second half of 1990's could be condensed into globalization appeared homogenization, regionalization and hybridization at the same time.

The purpose of this study is to research about the construction of Chiseong around the Heunginjimun Gate area in the 18th century. the conclusions derived from the historical evidence of the number, location, size, and form, and construction method of Chiseong was as follows. First, the Chiseong(Square-shaped lookout) of Hanyangdoseong was built in the 29th year of King Yeongjo(1753) and can be found in the national record. Five sites of the Chiseong are currently identified. It is assumed that the Foru was installed on top of some of the Chiseongs. Second, Chiseong was destroyed sequentially in the first half of the 20th century. Third, Chiseong is a rectangular in shape and six are constructed. Fourth, Sixth Chiseong could figure out through Hengryeopungsokdo, the drawing of Jeong Seon.

본 연구는 중국 북경시의 대표적인 성곽역사공원인 황성근성곽역사공원(皇城根城墻遺址公園), 명성곽역사공원(明城墻遺址公園), 원대도성곽역사공원(元大都城墻遺址公園)을 중심으로 성곽 역사공원의 조성방식을 분석하여 문제점과 시사점을 찾는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌과 현장조사를 통해 성곽 역사공원의 일반적 개념을 정의하고 북경성의 변천과정을 규명하여 북경시 성곽역사공원의 조성방식을 분석하였다. 그리고 각 공원의 구체적인 정책, 조성과정, 공간계획, 경관구 테마설정, 식재 등을 분석한 결과 성곽역사공원의 조성에 있어 입지 환경을 적절히 활용하지 못하였으며 테마경관구 역시 성곽유적의 역사성과 적합하게 조성되지 못하는 등 문제점이 도출되었다. 연구 결과 성곽역사공원의 조성은 성곽 유적을 대상으로 하는 유적에 관한 보호 및 관리계획, 역사공원에 관한 활용 및 운영계획 등 전문적이고 다차원적인 제도가 필요하며 성곽의 특성상 타 문화재에 비해 조성 면적이 넓기 때문에 공원조성을 위한 토지매입비용 등 사업비가 많이 드는 특징을 갖고 있어서 정부의 적극적인 재정 지원이 필요하다. 또한, 성곽역사공원의 계획을 수립하기 전에 대상지의 자연환경 및 시설현황을 면밀히 분석하여 최대한 활용하고 공간간의 원활한 연결을 통한 공간이용의 효율성을 제고하여야 한다. 아울러 타 시설과의 조화 및 시설물 상호간의 연계성을 가지도록 하여야 하며 형태 및 색채, 재료 등을 고려하여 계획하여야 한다. 그리고 성곽역사공원 조성 계획 수립 후 향후 개발여건 변화에 능동적인 대처가 가능하도록 고려되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to interpret the visual and auditory images and cognitive characteristics about townscapes in Namwon city. It was acquired the survey results about 8 types of verbal interviews and 2 kinds of sketch maps which are based on urban images from 102 Namwon residents. They held in a variety of images of Namwon in their minds such as Jiri mountain, clean environment, sightseeing, special products, urban/building structures, Korean classical music, historical novel, local sports, and emotional images. The nice streets or places which the residents recommended are the places which have abundant natural areas, psychological peace and rest, available space for physical activity, places for performances and events, and regional attractions. The streets or places which they didn't like are decadent places, and areas of crowded traffic. The transition times of visual and auditory scene can be classified with the Saemaul movement in the 1970's(the rural new community movement) and the improvement of the city in the 1990's. The elements of visual images in Namwon city on the basis of the cognitive maps were expressed such elements as paths, districts, nodes, edges, and landmarks. The elements of auditory images, which are on the basis of the concept of the soundscape, included sounds of narrative musical form unique to Korea; p'ansori, sounds of traditional markets, and sounds of nature. It was found that the imageability of visual and auditory images is relatively clear in specific areas in Namwon city.

창조도시가 도시 발전의 패러다임으로 점차 받아들여지는 가운데, 창조도시를 구성하는 주요 개념들 창조성, 창조계층, 창조산업 등의 의미를 살펴보았다. 창조도시의 개념에 관해서 지역 및 국가 간 다소 다르게 적용되고 있다는 점에서 관점의 차이가 나타난다. 본 연구는 상대적으로 창조도시에 관한 의미가 잘 부각되지 않는 국내의 중소 도시, 경북 북부 지역을 대상으로 그 의미를 파악하고자 하였다. 특히 창조산업의 의미가 지역의 자연, 농 특산품, 문화 역사적 자원의 관광자원화를 바탕으로 점차 문화, 체육 분야로 확대되어 나가고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면에 창조성의 의미가 그 지역의 자원을 활용하여 지역 활성화를 위한 모색하는 과정에서 어떠한 과정에 의해서 구체적으로 실현되어 가는지의 여부에 대해서는, 지방자치단체의 역할이 지역 내에서 비교적 뚜렷이 차이가 나타나고 있다. 주로 인터뷰에 의해서 파악된 그 역할은 리더의 역할, 지역 내 네트워크 체계, 외부와 네트워크 관계에 그 비중의 차이점을 보인다.

A mission of the police as described by law is to guard the life, body and property of all citizens. Such duties should be accurately performed based on legal and democratic procedures because the works of the police are directively influencing the overall lives of the citizens by restricting their freedom. The national police agency is setting up the figure of the police trusted and beloved by citizens. The strategies of police reform is to recognize the proposition of 'change the mind and you will see the bright future' and the historical mission of 'It is possible to survive only through the reform'. We are frequently watching the traffic police on the street or road. Traffic policing aims to reduce crime and the opportunities for criminal activity in relation to the use of roads, that is to improve road user behavior in order to reduce accidents. This study examines perceptions of drivers on the traffic police. For this purpose, this study surveys the opinion and view of drivers in Andong city based on the survey research and interview methods. The major findings of this study is as follows. Many drivers in Andong city evaluate negatively the kindness toward civilians, fair(rational) law enforcement of traffic police. So, this study suggests the improvement of the traffic police image.(for example, kindness toward civilians, service attitude, fair and rational law enforcement, etc)

This study is to analyze establishment status and planning characteristics of the landscape master plan of 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, Korea. The landscape master plans have been established in 19 cities and counties and among them they were established in 11 cities and counties before 2010. They tend to be made in city governments earlier than county governments. Community visions are implied with four meanings, 'landscape ecological', 'administrative economic', 'historical cultural', 'abstraction sensitive' in expression. For setting zones, axises, and bases of landscapes, characteristics of each landscape zone are emphasized with unification and connectivity of axises and bases of landscapes as one unit to local governments. Proposal of design principle or guideline of landscape by elements tend to be higher than landscape types. Locational characteristics of local governments have influenced to landscape types and characteristics of natural environments have been strongly reflected in landscape plan in particular.

인간의 삶에서 치유는 떼어낼 수 없는 관계에 있다. 최근 치유의 요구가 증가하면서 이를 위한 공간, 장소, 나아가 이동에 대한 지리적 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구는 서울 한양도성길 낙산구간 걷기를 사례로 걷기의 과정에서 어떠한 치유요소가 작용하며 그 지리적 함의가 무엇인지를 밝히는 데 목적을 두었다. '치유적 모빌리티' 개념과 틀을 바탕으로 181건의 블로그 텍스트를 연구 자료로 활용하였고 치유요소들을 분류한 결과, '기상 기후', '걷기 산책', 그리고 '야경'이 주요 요소로 분석되었다. 또한, 치유의 걷기 과정을 주요 요소들을 다룬 블로그 내러티브 분석으로 살펴본 결과, 치유의 장소만들기, 제한요인으로서 시간, 야경 속 사회적 신체라는 지리학적 함의를 찾을 수 있었다.

For building an urban image, various elements such as symbolic building, ethnic characteristics, historical background, natural environment, and diverse cultural elements can influence on it. Many cities in developed countries are showing their unique urban image reflecting their own culture, history, and aesthetic tastes. Especially color, one of the major design elements, has greater impact than other visual factors to form an urban characteristic. Despite the long history and cultural background, Seoul as a capital city of Korea does not show an unique city image with the perspective of color. Recently, Seoul has been designated as '2010 World Design Capital' and implements various urban design projects. As a leading city of design, Seoul is trying to make its urban identity through the own symbolic environment color. The purpose of this study is to find an environmental color scheme for developing a desirable urban design through several cases of foreign countries. For the purpose, Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Tokyo were selected as case cities. Each of the cities showed their own cultural characteristics and made their unique urban image by appropriate usage of their natural environment, symbolic building, emblem of country, and so on. We need to consider these successful cases to build up the image of Seoul.

With both Gatdui and Daean areas, under construction for upgrading the old housing in Gyeongju downtown area, this study was carried out to find out implications of upgrading methods in a historical and cultural city, by using a physical survey in the areas and life survey among their residents, as well as by analysing the level of their satisfaction with and requirement for housing and their preferring housing type. The upgrading patterns of residents were analysed by examining cases constructed newly in the manner of upgrading. The findings showed that it is required for both existing authorities and private parties to assume roles and responsibilities for upgrading the old housing while recently there have been continuous conflicts between development and preservation of the historic and cultural resources within the city and even the city identity also has been neglected by residents. In addition, it is necessary to take development conditions and resident's economic situation into consideration and introduce a wide range of methods for rearrangement, by turning the importance of housing upgrading to social rearrangement for the purpose of positive alternation.
