Higher incidences of adverse reaction associated with the prolonged use of synthetic drugs has once again increased the faith of humans in the traditional systems of medicine and motivated them to return back towards the clinical proven remedies for the treatment. It is also true that number of modern medications used in the present scenario, were developed from various plants. In Unani System of medicine, numerous herbal drugs are mentioned for medicinal purpose. Siras (Albizia lebbeck (L.) Benth.) is one of them. It is found all over India. Almost all parts of this plant are used for the treatment of ailments such as migraine, conjunctivitis, diarrhea, jaundice, skin problems, asthma etc. Many chemical constituents have been isolated from Albizia lebbeck such as lebbekannin, echinocystic acid, flavonoids, Linoleic acid, saponins etc. This review highlights the medicinal properties and therapeutic uses of Albizia lebbeck and scientific studies conducted on the drug in human and animal models that will provide the further research direction.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to study as reference for practical application in clinics, examine the procedure of historical changes and compare components and their doses of herb medicines, which are recorded in the chapter, Sinmun Jeonkwang of "Donguibogam". Methods : I examined 19 Herb Medicines (Ed note: no need to capitalize the 'h' and 'm') in Chapter Sinmun Jeonkwang of "Donguibogam". Fourteen books, which were noted in Chapter Sinmun Jeonkwang of "Donguibogam" and 16 books in Jeonkwang part of "The Eastern Medical Textbook of neuropsychiatry" and 25 books were mentioned in same part of "Uibujeonrok", were selected as reference. Results and Conclusions : Fourteen documents were referred to the 19 Herb Medicines in Chapter Sinmun Jeonkwang of "Donguibogam". Seventeen Herb Medicines were recorded in the source book but 2 Herb Medicines were not recorded. Fourteen Herb Medicines among 19 were recorded in the source book, which were directly quoted from the firstly appeared books, and 3 Herb Medicines were re-quoted from the other books that succeeded the source books. I suspect that the components and dosages of the Herb Medicines were revised, according to the author's clinical experience and circumstances.

Kmich is the traditional vegetable fermented food. Like other traditional foods. it was not known when the kimchi was first processed. In the chinese historical litera tures, Salt and varlous vegetables were used in Korea from the time of kokuryo and shila Dynasty. Brined vegetable product might be therefore, processed at that time for the winter. But the product was highly salted and any seasonings were not added at all. Chinese cabbage and ned pepper were used for kimchi processing in 15-16 centureis. Vanious type of Kimchi simllar to present products were processed thereafter.

New Seoul city hall completed in 1926 is a registered historical building. The remodeling plan has been developed for the expansion after the review by the governmental agency. Based on the plan, a new city hall should be constructed behind the current city hall while the facade, the main lobby and the dorm structure of the existing building, A new construction method, FUSEM, has been developed for this mission for the safety of the historical structure.

2005년 도시공원법 개정 이후 국내에는 역사유산의 보전은 물론 도시민의 휴식과 교육을 함께 도모할 수 있는 역사공원이 등장하였다. 이제는 역사공원의 운영 실태를 통해 국내 역사공원의 특성을 알고 그에 따른 제도적 보완을 모색할 때이다. 본 연구는 주요 국가의 역사공원 제도의 특성과 국내 역사공원의 지정 및 조성 경향을 분석하여 역사공원의 기능과 역할을 점검하고 향후 대응 방향을 마련하고자 하였다. 연구는 문헌고찰을 중심으로 하되, 역사공원 현황과 조성 과정을 관계 공무원과 전문가에게 전화 및 이메일로 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 역사자원은 주로 조선시대 유적에 집중되어 있지만 인물, 사건, 장소 등의 유산도 포함되며 근대기 유산도 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 역사공원은 기존도시와 신도시, 대도시와 지방도시 사이에 차이가 있으며 지방도시는 최근 경제 활성화와 정체성 강화를 위한 중요한 자원으로 역사공원을 이용하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, 공원의 종류를 역사공원으로 변경한 경우, 기존 기능과 일부 상충하는 문제가 발생하였다. 국내 역사공원은 역사유산공원, 역사기념공원, 역사주제공원과 역사적공원의 네 가지 유형으로 구분할 수 있었다. 이러한 세부적 유형분류는 향후 역사유산의 보전과 활용을 위한 전략적 토대가 되며 역사공원의 구체적인 운영 방향을 제시하는 기준이 될 수 있다.

This paper takes the Pingjiang historical and cultural district of Suzhou city as an example, collects 1439 visitor review data from Ctrip.com with the help of Python technology, and uses web text analysis to conduct research on high-frequency words, semantic networks and emotional tendencies to comprehensively assess the tourist perception of the Grand Canal heritage. The study found that: natural and humanistic landscape, historical and cultural accumulation, and the style of Jiangnan Canal are fully reflected in the tourists' perception of Pingjiang historical and cultural district; tourists hold strong positive emotion towards Pingjiang Road, however, there is still more room for renovation and improvement of the historical and cultural district. Finally, countermeasure suggestions for improving the tourist perception of the Grand Canal heritage are given in terms of protection first, cultural integration and innovative utilization.

The authors congratulate the cerebrations for the 30 years of the Korean Society of Medical Physics (http://www.ksmp.or.kr/). The paper is published to recognize the anniversary. Geon-Ho Jahng invited Professor Z. H. Cho to join to submit this manuscript because he has been one of the leaders in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) during the last 40 years. In this review, we describe the development and clinical histories of MRI internationally and domestically. We also discuss diffusion and perfusion MRI, molecular imaging using MRI and MR spectroscopy (MRS), and the hybrid systems, such as positron emission tomography-MRI (PET-MRI), MR-guided focused ultrasound surgery (MRgFUS), and MRI-guided linear accelerators (MRI-LINACs). In each part, we discuss the historical evolution of the developments, technical developments, and clinical applications.

This article will review the historical background of the development of area studies and the adoption of global studies in Japan. Global studies, which focuses on global issues such as migration, mainly developed in the United States and Europe, but more recently found home in universities in Japan. A characteristic of the development of global studies in Japan is that specialists in area studies have played an important role in institutionally establishing this new discipline. "Japanese area studies" has an affinity with the concepts of global studies contrary to the situation with area studies in the United States. Conventional academic societies based on area studies in Japan, however, have been forced to change as a result of globalization and the establishment of global studies in Japan. I would like to point out that there is some discrepancy between the scholarship boundaries and the actual research and educational program in area studies. I will also discuss how we should reconsider the concept of "area" by tackling global issues.

본 연구의 목적은 한국노년학회가 1980년도부터 발행한 "한국노년학"에 실린 심리학 관련 연구를 살펴보는 것이다. 지난 30년 간 총 130편의 심리학 관련 논문이 출판되었다. 1980년에는 총 19편이 출판되었는데, 이 중 14편이 경험적인 연구이고 나머지 5편이 문헌고찰이다. 1990년에는 총 51편이 실렸으며, 이 중 49편이 경험적 연구이고 2편이 문헌고찰이다. 2000년대에는 총 60편이 나왔으며, 경험적인 연구가 56편으로 압도적으로 많았고, 문헌고찰 연구나 이론적 연구는 4편에 불과했다. 주로 다룬 주제는 노인의 정신건강, 삶의 만족 및 여가, 부모부양 및 가족관계, 노년기 인지적 변화 그리고 노년기 일반 등이다. 연대별 연구추이를 살펴본 후, 주제별로 관련 연구를 고찰했다. 마지막으로, 기존 연구의 한계점을 지적하고 앞으로의 연구를 위한 제언을 제시했다.
