ICP 알고리즘을 이용한 레일 프로파일 매칭 기법 (Rail Profile Matching Method using ICP Algorithm)

  • In this paper, we describe a method for precisely measuring the abrasion of the railway using an image processing technique. To calculate the wear of the rails, we provided a method for accurately matching the standard rail profile data and the profile data acquired by the rail inspection vehicle. After the lens distortion correction and the perspective transformation of the measured profile data, we used ICP Algorithm for accurate profile data matching with the reference profile extracted from the standard rail drawing. We constructed the prototype of the Rail Profile Measurement System for High-speed Railway and the experimental result on the three type of the standard rail used in Korea showed the excellent profile matching accuracy within 0.1mm.

상하 및 좌우진동이 부상용 전자석 시스템에 미치는영향 (Effects of Vertical and Lateral Motion on Levitation Magnet System)

  • Magnet core and rail of a magnetically levitated vehicle are usually made of highly conductive materials. Accordingly, eddy currents are induced in those members. Eddy currents often lead to a decrement of levitation and guidance force. This paper has calculated the decrement of both forces due to eddy current generated by magnet's vertical and lateral motion. U-shaped electromagnet and rail were chosen as amodel of 2D finite element analysis. Calculated results proved that both forces dropped significantly at high speed. Consequently, effects of eddy current should be considered in designing the magnet and control system.

  • Linear Induction Motors (LIMs) with the long secondary conductor often have joints between the segmented secondary, which are specially used for magnetically levitated high-speed vehicle and elevators. In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of the LIM with joints in the secondary are investigated using the time-stepping finite element analysis. It is supposed that both aluminium conductor and back-iron have joint in the active zone during the analysis. As a result, thrust and normal force ripple which have effects on the motor dynamics and vibration are examined.

  • Brake system using eddy current is adequate to obtain safe braking force in high speed transportation system and electric vehicle etc. In this paper, we propose the new type eddy current braker using Halbach array. which compared with the conventional permanent magnet array. The airgap flux density of Halbach array is higher 25% then conventional array, therefor we can predict that braking force is much large 1.56 times then conventional array.

  • Switched Reluctance Motors(SRM) attract much attention in motor because they are reliable and inexpensive. With advance in power electronics and high-speed processors, the performance of SRM has been enhanced greatly But because of its geometric and magnetic structure, the switched reluctance motor naturally creates torque ripples during the commutations of the currents from a supplied phase to an other one. This paper presents the torque ripple reduction using hysteresis current control among of current control techniques.

  • KSLV-I의 비행시험 시 발생된 고온 고압의 플룸이 발사체와 발사대 구조물에 미치는 영향을 감쇠시키기 위하여 발사대의 화염유도로 냉각장치에서 다량의 물을 분사하였다. 본 연구는 물분사가 플룸 및 유동장에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위해 간략화 된 2차원 축대칭, 2-Phase 모델로 수치해석을 수행하였다.

  • In order to reduce traffic accident, the interaction between drivers and roads should be studied in drivers' behaviour standpoints, and then this must be applied to the establishment of the road design standard. The K-ROADS(KICT-Road Analysis Driving Simulator) was developed to analyze and evaluate the road safety at the project HuRoSAS(Human & Road Safety Analysis System), since 2003. This has two distinct functions. One is the visual system which has 360 degree F.O.V. to reduce a dead angle on black spots as at-grade intersection. The other is the motion system which reproduce high frequency vibration made in irregular road surface and vehicle's motion. The K-ROADS has been used the study on the effect of alternatives of speed hump, and the study on the interior wall design of long tunnel to safety standpoints.

  • KARI SUAV (Smart Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) program is currently on the phase of ground and flight test. SUAV is a tilt rotor aircraft having the capability of vertical take-off/landing and high speed forward flight. The SUAV rotor system is 3-bladed, gimbaled hub type, which is not common for conventional helicopter configuration. In this paper, detailed procedure and method of rotor pitch rigging, tracking and balancing were described based on the experience of SUAV ground test.

  • 본 논문은 초고속 비행체의 특정 위치에 정압력을 측정하여 속도, 받음각 등 유동 데이터를 효과적으로 획득할 수 있는 유동 데이터 획득 및 처리 알고리즘에 대해 제시하였다. 기존의 공기 유동데이터 획득시스템과는 다르게 센서 여유(redundancy) 및 오류 검출 기능을 지니고 있으며 전산유동해석(CFD)을 통해 미리 획득한 데이터를 적용한 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 상용 프로그램인 매트랩 및 시뮬링크를 사용하여 알고리즘에 대해 검증하였다.

  • Recently a supercavitating underwater vehicle moving at high speed over 200 knots has been of interest for its practical advantage of the dramatic drag reduction. Many experimental and numerical studies have been explored, however most of the studies deal with the case of uniform flows. In this paper, we investigated physical behaviors of the artificial supercavity in a periodic gust flow. Experiments were carried out at a cavitation tunnel of the Chungnam National University(CNUCT), which is equipped to remove the gas supplied from outside of the tunnel. We devised an experimental apparatus generating vertical and horizontal gust flows, and investigated the supercavity formations at different periodic mode of the incoming flow.
