Recently, wireless network services are widely used, depending on the development of wireless network module technologies and the utilization gradually expanded, and thus is a trend that appears a lot of IT convergence industries. For this study, the OBD-II communication to Import your vehicle information, and other external devices in high-speed driving condition of the vehicle to verify the information system was developed to transfer data to an external server. From various sensors inside the vehicle using the OBD-II connector easily convert all users to read the information, then, Sent to the external server using the wireless network module, high-speed vehicle status check system was implemented. It was to test the performance of the system was developed using the actual circuit in a high-speed road racing vehicles. Transfer data generated from high-speed driving vehicles through the OBD-II scanner and check the status of a high-speed vehicle system was confirmed that this data is normally received. In the future, these new cars convergence of IT technology will grow as a new field of research.

Supercavitation is one of the most attractive technologies to achieve high speed for underwater vehicles. However, the multiphase flow with high-speed around the supercavitating vehicle (SCV) is difficult to simulate accurately. In this paper, we use modified the turbulent viscosity formula in the Standard K-Epsilon (SKE) turbulent model to simulate the supercavitating flow. The numerical results of flow over several typical cavitators are in agreement with the experimental data and theoretical prediction. In the last part, a flying SCV was studied by unsteady numerical simulation. The selected computation setup corresponds to an outdoor supercavitating experiment. Only very limited experimental data was recorded due to the difficulties under the circumstance of high-speed underwater condition. However, the numerical simulation recovers the whole scenario, the results are qualitatively reasonable by comparing to the experimental observations. The drag reduction capacity of supercavitation is evaluated by comparing with a moving vehicle launching at the same speed but without supercavitation. The results show that the supercavitation reduces the drag of the vehicle dramatically.

This paper describes a control scheme of speed sensorless fuzzy direct torque control (FDTC) of permanent magnet synchronous motor for electric vehicle (EV). Electric vehicle requires fast torque response and high efficiency of the drive. Speed sensorless FDTC In-wheel PMSM drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost, quick response and high reliability in electric vehicle application. This paper presents a new approach to estimate the speed of in-wheel electrical vehicles based on Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS). The direct torque control suffers in low speeds due to the effect of changes in stator resistance on the flux measurements. To improve the system performance at low speeds, a PI-fuzzy resistance estimator is proposed to eliminate the error due to changes in stator resistance. High performance sensorless drive of the in-wheel motor based on MRAS with on line stator resistance tuning is established for four motorized wheels electric vehicle and the whole system is simulated by matalb/simulink. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the new control strategy. This proposed control strategy is extensively used in electric vehicle application.
The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized. In this study, the effect of large high-speed press structure on precision was verified
A difference in subgrade settlement between two rails of a track manifests as lateral differential subgrade settlement. This settlement causes unsteadiness in the motion of trains passing through the corresponding area. To illustrate the effect of lateral differential subgrade settlement on the dynamic response of a vehicle-track coupling system, a three-dimensional vehicle-track-subgrade coupling model was formulated by combining the vehicle-track dynamics theory and the finite element method. The wheel/rail force, car body acceleration, and derailment factor are chosen as evaluation indices of the system dynamic response. The effects of the amplitude and wavelength of lateral differential subgrade settlement as well as the driving speed of the vehicle are analyzed. The study reveals the following: The dynamic responses of the vehicle-track system generally increase linearly with the driving speed when the train passes through a lateral subgrade settlement area. The wheel/rail force acting on a rail with a large settlement exceeds that on a rail with a small settlement. The dynamic responses of the vehicle-track system increase with the amplitude of the lateral differential subgrade settlement. For a 250-km/h train speed, the proposed maximum amplitude for a lateral differential settlement with a wavelength of 20 m is 10 mm. The dynamic responses of the vehicle-track system decrease with an increase in the wavelength of the lateral differential subgrade settlement. To achieve a good operation quality of a train at a 250-km/h driving speed, the wavelength of a lateral differential subgrade settlement with an amplitude of 20 mm should not be less than 15 m. Monitoring lateral differential settlements should be given more emphasis in routine high-speed railway maintenance and repairs.
High-sided road vehicles are susceptible to a sharp-edged crosswind gust, which may cause vehicle accidents such as overturning, excessive sideslip, or exaggerated rotation. This paper thus investigates the dynamic behaviour and possible accidents of high-sided road vehicles entering a sharp-edged crosswind gust with road surface roughness and vehicle suspension included. The high-sided road vehicle is modelled as a combination of several rigid bodies connected by a series of springs and dampers in both vertical and lateral directions. The random roughness of road surface is generated from power spectral density functions for various road conditions. The empirical formulae derived from wind tunnel test results are employed to determine aerodynamic forces and moments acting on the vehicle. After the governing equations of motion are established, an extensive computation work is performed to examine the effects of road surface roughness and vehicle suspension on the dynamic behaviour and vehicle accidents. It is demonstrated that for the high-sided road vehicle and wind forces specified in the computation, the accident vehicle speed of the road vehicle running on the road of average condition is relatively smaller than that running on the road of very good condition for a given crosswind gust. The vehicle suspension system should be taken into consideration, and the accident vehicle speed becomes smaller if the vehicle suspension system has softer springs and lighter dampers.

In order to estimate the launch point of a high-speed vehicle, predicting the various characteristics of the vehicle's movement, such as drag and thrust, must be preceded by the estimation. To predict the various parameters regarding the vehicle's characteristics, we build the IMM filter specialized in predicting the parameters of the post-launch phase based on flight dynamics. Then we estimate the launch point of the high-speed vehicle using Inverse Dynamics. In addition, we assume the arbitrary error level of the radar for accuracy of the prediction. We organize multiple-dimensioned IMM structures, and figure out the optimal value of parameters by comparing the various IMM structures. After deriving the optimal value of parameters, we verify the launch point estimation error under certain error level.

The absolute longitudinal speed of a vehicle is estimated by using vehicle acceleration data from an accelerometer and wheel speed data from standard 50-tooth antiknock braking system wheel speed sensors. An intuitive solution to this problem is, "When wheel slip is low, calculate absolute velocities from the wheel speeds; when wheel slip is high, calculate absolute velocity by integrating the accelerometer." Fuzzy logic is introduced to implement the above idea and a new algorithm of "modified velocities with step integration" is proposed. This algorithm is verified experimentally to estimate speed of a vehicle, and is also shown to estimate absolute longitudinal vehicle speed with a 6% worst-case error during a hard braking maneuver lasting three seconds.
Due to the rugged terrain, metro lines in mountain city across numerous wide rivers and deep valleys, resulting in instability of high-pier bridge and insecurity of metro train subjected to fluctuating crosswind. To ensure the safe operation in metro lines in mountain cities, running safety of the metro train over the high-pier bridge under crosswind is analyzed in this paper. Firstly, the dynamic model of the wind-train-bridge (WTB) system is built, in which the speed-up effect of crosswind is fully considered. On the basis of time domain analysis, the basic characteristics of the WTB system with high-pier are analyzed. Afterwards, the dynamic responses varies with train speed and wind speed are calculated, and the safety zone of metro train over a high-pier bridge subjected to fluctuating crosswind in mountain city is determined. The results indicate that, fluctuating crosswind triggers drastic vibration to the metro train and high-pier bridges, which in turn causes running instability of the train. For this reason, the corresponding safety zone for metro train running on the high-pier is proposed, and the metro traffic on the high-pier bridge should be closed as the mean wind speed of standard height reaches 9 m/s (15.6 m/s for the train).

In this paper, the dynamic response of the pantograph system that supplies electrical power to a high-speed rail vehicle were investigated. The analyses of the catenary based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) is executed to develop a pantograph fits well in high-speed focused on the dynamic characteristic analysis of the pantograph system. By simulation of the pantograph-catenary system, the static deflection of the catenary, the stiffness variation in contact lines, the dynamic response of the catenary undergoing constant moving load and the contact force analysis were executed. By the pantograph-catenary analysis, the design parameters of a pantograph could be optimized. For more improving the dynamic characteristics of the pantograph, the active-pantograph was investigated by controlling a contact force. The active pantograph showed the better performance compared to the parameter-optimized. However, the parameter-optimized pantograph would be acceptable for a high-speed rail vehicle through the design-parameter analysis.
