초고속 유도전동기 구동을 위한 신경회로망 제어기 설계 (Design of Neural Network Controllers for High Speed Induction Motor Drives)

  • 초고속 전동기 구동 시스템을 위하여 간접 신경회로망 제어기를 제안하였다. 고속의 가변 전동기구동에서의 속도응답은 긴 정착시간과 높은 오버슈트의 영향에 있게 되므로 고성능을 위하여 신경회로망 제어기와 신경회로망 에뮬레이터로 구성된 제어기를 사용하였으며, 신경회로망 에뮬레이터는 고속 전동기의 정수와 특성을 동정하는데 사용하였고, 제어기의 학습은 접속강도가 백프로퍼게이션에 의해 조절되도록 하였다. 그리고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 제안된 시스템의 특성과 장점을 확인하였다.

Low Cost Motor Drive Technologies for ASEAN Electric Scooter

  • This work investigates two different motor drive technologies, switched reluctance motor (SRM) and induction motor (IM). They are designed optimally to meet the desired performances for electric scooters. The comparison of both motors is described in terms of performances and material cost. With the similar constraint, induction motor performs slightly better than switched reluctance motor. But this must be traded-off with higher weight and cost. Both drive systems are, however, suitable for electric scooter application. Finally, the range simulations are conducted on a European urban driving cycle, ECE15 driving cycle and a more realistic cycle, Bangkok driving cycle. The e-scooter ranges are varied from 36 to 109 km depending on driving cycle, motor technology and number of passengers.

  • The speed control associated with do send motors for direct-drive applications of mobile robot is considered. In odor to the high-performance operation of dc servo motor, drive circuits is controlled Pulse Width Modulations. In this case, PWM driving circuit has nonliner charactristics. This circuit composed of H-type bridge with freewheeling diodes in odor to deal with storage energy of motor's inductance and also control method is developed. At resultes, speed charactristics of motor is shown lineristics. In oder to speed control of motor. The opertion of phase-locked servo system is described and a linear discrete model is developed to their behavior. Thise model discussed are the design problems, speed variation.

  • This paper investigates the adaptive control of a fuzzy logic based speed and flux controller for a vector controlled induction motor drive. A model reference adaptive scheme is proposed in which the adaptation mechanism is executed by fuzzy logic based on the error and change of error measured between the motor speed and output of a reference model. The control performance of the model reference adaptive control(mAC) fuzzy controller is evaluated by simulation for various operating conditions. The validity of the proposed MRAC fuzzy controller is confirmed by performance results for induction motor drive system.

  • In this paper, the gearless traction machine drive system using a permanent-maget motor for high-speed elevators is addressed. This application of permanent-magnet motor to the elevator traction machine enables several improvements including higher efficiency, better ride comfort, smaller size and weight, and so on. PWM boost converter is also adopted so that DC-link voltage regulation, hi-directional power flow, and controllable power factor with reduced input current harmonics are possible. To increase reliability and performance, the control board, which can include the car and group controller as well as PWM converter and inverter controller, is designed based on TMS320VC33 DSP The simulator system for high-speed elevators has been developed so that the drive system of high-speed elevator can be tested without my limitation on ride distance and the load condition. Some experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness of the developed system.

  • This paper presents a design method of programmable low pass filter(PLPF) which reduce an estimation error of a zero crossing point(ZCP) for a high speed brushless DC(BLDC) motor drive. BLDC motor sensorless drive is possible by estimation of ZCP. The ZCP estimated by detecting a change of back-EMF polarity has the estimation error because noises exist on the measured back-EMF. Therefore a calculated commutation timing using the ZCP is inaccurate. And the inexact commutation timing leads to ripples of 3-phase current and degradation of drive performance. This paper proposes the design method of the PLPF to overcome these problems. First, a speed calculated a inaccurate period of the ZCP is analyzed in the frequency domain. Then, the PLPF that has varying cut-off frequency according to change of the speed is designed on the frequency analysis result. The proposed method is verified by the experiment.

MRAS Based Sensorless Control of a Series-Connected Five-Phase Two-Motor Drive System

  • Multi-phase machines can be used in variable speed drives. Their applications include electric ship propulsion, 'more-electric aircraft' and traction applications, electric vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicles. Multi-phase machines enable independent control of a few numbers of machines that are connected in series in a particular manner with their supply being fed from a single voltage source inverter(VSI). The idea was first implemented for a five-phase series-connected two-motor drive system, but is now applicable to any number of phases more than or equal to five-phase. The number of series-connected machines is a function of the phase number of VSI. Theoretical and simulation studies have already been reported for number of multi-phase multi-motor drive configurations of series-connection type. Variable speed induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost and high reliability. To replace the sensor, information concerning the rotor speed is extracted from measured stator currents and voltages at motor terminals. Open-loop estimators or closed-loop observers are used for this purpose. They differ with respect to accuracy, robustness, and sensitivity against model parameter variations. This paper analyses operation of an MRAS estimator based sensorless control of a vector controlled series-connected two-motor five-phase drive system with current control in the stationary reference frame. Results, obtained with fixed-voltage, fixed-frequency supply, and hysteresis current control are presented for various operating conditions on the basis of simulation results. The purpose of this paper is to report the first ever simulation results on a sensorless control of a five-phase two-motor series-connected drive system. The operating principle is given followed by a description of the sensorless technique.

  • 고속 엘리베이터는 높은 안정성과 제어성이 필요하므로 기동, 정지시에 영 속도를 포함한 정밀 구동이 필요하다. 유도전동기의 정밀 구동을 위하여 사용되어온 벡터 제어 기법은 슬립 주파수 제어에 의한 간접 벡터 제어와 계자편향에 의한 직접벡터 제어의 두가지 종류로 분류할 수 있으며, 직접벡터제어의 경우 전동기 제어 변수의 변화에 강건한 반면에 직접 벡터 제어의 경우 비교적 넓은 속도구간에서 제어가 가능하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서 토크는 직접 벡터기반으로 제어하고, 지속은 간접 벡터 기반으로 제어함으로써 유도전동기의 과도상태 동작과 시동시 영 속도 부근 및 저속 영역에서의 동작이 보다 강건하도록 개선된 직접토크-간접자속(DTIF, Direct Torque Indirect Flux)제어기를 제시하였다. 3상 유도전동기의 구동을 위하여 제안된 시스템의 수행결과는 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 입증하였으며, 영 속도부근과 저속에서 고속으로의 변환과정은 속도응답에 대한 상전압, 상전류 그리고 DC링크 전류를 비교 측정하여 안정하고 강건한 속도변화가 이루어짐을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents a strategy to drive built in-type spindle induction motor which is used as CNC (Computer Numerical Control) in the industrial world. The direct vector control which is robust to the changed machine parameters in the high speed range is used in this motor control method. And electrical model of induction motor presents the basic idea based on observer structure, which is composed of voltage model and current model. But the former has the defects in low speed range, the latter has the defects of sensitivity to motor parameter. Thus Gopinath model flux estimator which is the closed loop flux observer based on two models for the rotor flut estimation is used in this paper. Moreover this paper presents to drive the spindle motor in the high speed range by using the flux weakening control.

High Efficiency Drive of SRM using GA-Neural Network

  • The torque of SRM depends on a phase current and the inductance of the motor. But the inductance is saturated nonlinearly according to the position and current. To drive the motor effectively, the control scheme should take into account the nonlinear characteristics of the magnetic material. This paper proposes an optimal control scheme for high efficiency drive of SRM by adjusting both the turn-on and turn-off angle. The high efficiency drive points are simulated and searched by using GA-Neural Network The switching angles are nonlinearly varied with rotor speed and load.
