Development of Optimum Construction Lift Operation System using Sensing Information for High-rise Building (센싱정보를 활용한 초고층 건설용 리프트 최적화 운행 시스템 개발)

  • As recent buildings have been more higher and larger, construction vertical lifting planning and operation is a key factor for successful project in tall building. Although many studies have been trying to set up a construction lifting planning system at early stage, there's not existing a control real-time lift operation control system with respect to during construction stage. Therefore, In this study, we use the sensor device to collect the lift operating data for improvement of lift operation efficiency and develope optimum lift operating system which can perform real-time analysis. Finally, we verify the efficiency of proposed system through comparison between realtime operating data and simulated data using proposing system. In this paper, the proposed system show more efficient moving line compared with previous system. This can contribute to development of unmanned lift system.

  • The overhang structure of photoresist in optical lithography was studied for the metallization of GaAs-related devices throughout lift-off method. Optical contact aligner with a dose of 8.5 m J/cm\ulcornerand with a wavelength of 300mm was used for ultraviolet exposure of single layer of S1400-27 photoresist. The overhang thickness shows a linear relationship with the soaking time in monochlorobenzene, which its magnitude becomes high at elevated softbake temperature. Such process conditions as a low softbake temperature, a long monochlorohbenzene soaking time and a little exposed energy make the development rate of photoresist lower. The optimum process conditions to obtain a target line-width, which include an appropriate overhang structure such as complete separation between the sidewall of photoresist pattern and the deposited metal edge, are determined as the softbake temperature of 64-74\ulcornerC, the monochlorobenzene soaking time of 10-15min, the ultraviolet exposure time of 70-100sec and the development time of 50-80sec.

  • The optical and electrical properties of High Speed AlGaAs infrared LED by using metal wet etch process instead of metal lift-off process are investigated. The power out increases when metal contact is patterned by wet etch process. Forward voltage and Reverse voltage for metal wet etch process represent higher value than the metal lift-off process. The aging effect of power out also indicates good results with wet etch process. The wet etch process for metal contact reveals reliable LED device properties.

  • The lift and drag forces produced by a wing of a given cross-sectional profile are dependent on the wing planform and the angle of attack. Aspect ratio is the ratio of the wing span to the average chord. For conventional fixed wing aircrafts, high aspect ratio wings produce a higher lift to drag ratio than low ones for flight at subsonic speeds. Therefore, high aspect ratio wings are used on aircraft intended for long endurance. However, birds and insects flap their wings to fly in the air and they can change their wing motions. Their wing motions are made up of translation and rotation. Therefore, we tested flapping motions with parameters which affect rotational motion such as the angle of attack and the wing beat frequency. The half elliptic shaped wings were designed with the variation of aspect ratio from 4 to 11. The flapping device was operated in the water to reduce the wing beat frequency according to Reynolds similarity. In this study, the aerodynamic forces, the time-averaged force coefficients and the lift to drag ratio were measured at Reynolds number 15,000 to explore the aerodynamic characteristics with the variation of aspect ratio. The maximum lift coefficient was turned up at AR=8. The mean drag coefficients were almost same values at angle of attack from $10^{\circ}$ to $40^{\circ}$ regardless of aspect ratio, and the mean drag coefficients above angle of attack $50^{\circ}$ were decreased according to the increase of aspect ratio. For flapping motion the maximum mean lift to drag ratio appeared at AR=8.

  • Most stage directors and designers make use of controling and moving lots of stage set or device as a large automation device or machine to achieve dramatic effect in their performances. Specially, it is very important to use a programmable multi-chain hoist system which is able to move high speed as well as to lift heavy loads. This paper proposes a multi chain hoist servo system to lift or lower a heavy load of about l ton for public performances' stage. It is automatically operated, electrically driven by a control console with a PTP trajectory generation algorithm, a realtime network control algorithm, and 4 step sequential safety algorithm. The efficiency and performance of the developed system are verified through a series of experiments.

A Numerical Study on the Characteristics of a Thick Flapped Rudder depending on Various Geometric Parameters using Computational Fluid Dynamics Technique

  • A marine flapped rudder is designed to improve the effective lift generated by the rudder; this also improves the maneuverability of the ship. The flap is a high lift device installed at the trailing edge of the rudder to augment lift. In this paper, the characteristics of a thick flapped rudder are analyzed at a low Reynolds number with various ratios of flap chord length to total chord length and various aspect ratios, based on the computational fluid dynamics technique. The performance of the rudder with respect to lift, drag, and center of pressure are investigated, and the efficient ratio of flap chord length to total chord length and improved aspect ratio are determined. Ed: highlight - or 'superior'. As a case study, the flow on the flapped rudder of an NACA0021 section shape in free stream condition is simulated. The standard k-epsilon turbulence model is used to model the flow around the flapped rudder. The results indicate that the efficient ratio of the flap chord length to total chord length and aspect ratio are 0.3 and 1.4, respectively.

SEPARATION CONTROL USING SYNTHETIC JET ON NACA23012 AT HIGH ANGLE OF ATTACK (고받음각의 NACA23012익형에서 synthetic jet을 이용한 박리 제어 연구)

  • Flow control has been performed using synthetic jet on NACA23012. In order to improve aerodynamic performance, synthetic jet is located near separation paint on airfoil with leading edge droop and plain flap. The flow control using synthetic jet shows that stall characteristics and control surface performance can be improved through resizing separation vortices. Stall is delayed and stall characteristics are improved when synthetic jet is applied from separation region of leading edge droop. Control surface effectiveness is increased and lift is increased when synthetic jet applied at the flap leading edge region. The results show that aerodynamic characteristics can be improved through leading edge droop with synthetic jet at near separation and plain flap with synthetic jet at the flap leading edge. The combination of synthetic jet and simple high lift device is as good as fowler flap system.

Optimal Shape of Blunt Device for High Speed Vehicle

  • A contact strip shape of a high speed train pantograph system was optimized with CFD to increase the aerodynamic performance and stability of contact force, and the results were validated by a wind tunnel test. For design of the optimal contact strip shape, a Kriging model and genetic algorithm were used to ensure the global search of the optimal point and reduce the computational cost. To enhance the performance and robustness of the contact strip for high speed pantograph, the drag coefficient and the fluctuation of the lift coefficient along the angle of attack were selected as design objectives. Aerodynamic forces were measured by a load cell and HWA (Hot Wire Anemometer) was used to measure the Strouhal number of wake flow. PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) was adopted to visualize the flow fields. The optimized contact strip shape was shown a lower drag with smaller fluctuation of vertical lift force than the general shaped contact strip. And the acoustic noise source strength of the optimized contact strip was also reduced. Finally, the reduction amount of drag and noise was assessed when the optimized contact strip was applied to three dimensional pantograph system.

슬랫에 의한 항공기 주날개 공력특성변화 연구

  • 항공기 운항 중에 가장 연료가 많이 소모될 때는 순간 고출력이 필요한 이륙 순간이다. 항공기가 이륙시 보다 적은 연료를 이용하여 효율적인 비행을 위해 고양력 장치를 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 항공기가 이륙 시 사용되는 고양력 발생 장치 중 하나인 Slat을 이용하여 Slat의 각도 변화에 따라 가장 효율적인 공력특성을 찾아보았다. Slat의 각도를 $15^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$ $25^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$로 변화시켜 보면서 공력 특성 값들을 확인한 결과 Slat이 있는 경우 NACA2415만 있는 경우보다 양력계수가 좋아졌으나 Slat 뒷전의 와류에 의해 항력계수가 약간 증가 하는 모습을 보였다. 본 실험 case 중에서는 Slat 각도가 $30^{\circ}$일 때 Slat 뒷전의 와류가 사라져 가장 우수한 공력 특성을 보였다.

Evaluation of an insect-mimicking flapping device actuated by a piezoceramic actuator (곤충 비행원리를 모사한 압전 작동기 구동형 날갯짓 기구의)

  • This paper presents experimental evaluation of an insect-mimicking flapping-wing device actuated by a unimorph piezoceramic actuator. Length of each rod and hinge point in the linkage/amplification system are carefully chosen such that the resulting wing motion can mimic clapping of wings in a real insect at the end of upstroke. In addition to this, a pair of corrugated wings are fabricated mimicking zig-zag cross section of a real insect wing. Thanks to the two additional implementation, the improved flapping wing device can generate a larger lift force than the previous model even though area of the new wing is about 50% less than that of the previous wing. In this work, effects of the wing clapping, the wing corrugation, and the input wave form on the lift force generation have been also experimentally investigated. Finally, the vortex generated by the flapping device has been captured by a high speed camera, showing that vortices are produced during up- and down-strokes.
