This study takes an effort to suggest solutions for medical service consumers' sovereignty. Specifically, consumer evaluation, information seeking level, and affecting factors on information seeking level were explored in terms of medical service. In present study, medical information included medical institution and doctors, prescription, diseases, medical treatment and medical expense. Medical service consumers' information seeking is identified as consumers' own efforts to acquire medical information through various sources. The analysis results suggested that consumers' information seeking level is even lower, while their evaluation level is somewhat low. Moreover, the result for information seeking level by consumer characteristics implied that people who have high education, high economic status, medical knowledge, and high attitudes for consumer right are active information seekers. Finally, consumer attitudes for right appeared most influential factor on information seeking level, implying direction for medical service consumer education.

In this paper we introduce a model based centralized hierarchical controller for cooperative team of soccerplaying multiple mobile robots. The hierarchical controller is composed of high-level and low-level controllers. Using the coordinates information of objects from the vision are simple models of multiple mobile tobots on the playground. Subsequently, the high level controller selects and action model corresponding to the perceived state transition model and generates subgoal and goal-velocity, from which the low level controller generates trajectory of each wheel velocity of the robot. This two layered simplicity. The feasubility of the control strategy has been demonstrated in an implementation for real soccer games at a MiroSot league.

This paper proposes a tile level rate control for High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC). The proposed tile level rate control is designed by considering the multi-core platform of tile in HEVC. The proposed tile level rate control allocates the number of bits for each tile based on the predetermined weight generated from the current picture level rate control. According to the experimental results, the proposed tile level rate control for HEVC on multi-core platform loses negligibly the bitrate accuracy about 0.07% on average over the reference software HM-14.0.

Three levels(high, medium, low) of maternal language were used to examine the ways in which mothers interact with their children while reading together. Eighty pairs of mothers and their children were observed in their homes. Findings were that mothers made increased use of high level language with increase in children's age and IQ. Mothers' use of high level language was greater for 6-year-olds than for 5-year-olds and use of low level language was greater for 5-year-olds than for 6-year-olds. The more educated mothers used a higher level of language while less educated mothers used a lower level of language. Mothers' use of low level language predicted lower reading ability in children.

The severe acute respiratory syndrome -SARS virus spreaded rapidly in Asia in 2003 caused a lethal and serious epidemic. Establishing special isolation wards of high-level epidemic prevention has becomes one of the most important tasks of epidemic prevention. Taking the biosafety level of US CDC biology laboratory as an example, the laboratory of the highest level, BL4 and that of the second high level, BL3 are only allowed to handle and research this kind of highly dangerous viruses safely, to ensure the safety of researchers and the surrounding environment.This research aims to study the functions and the design requirements of "special isolation wards", which is equivalent to the high-level biotechnology laboratory, and have an integrated discussion about the design and construction techniques of this kind of wards, expecting to provide a reference for constructing special isolation wards and maintaining operation safely in Taiwan.

A three-level ZCT(Zero Current Transition) IGBT inverter is presented for high power IGBT inverters. The concept of ZCT for the conventional boost converter is extended to the three-level inverter. Moreover, in order to improve the reliability of inverter, midpoint charge balance problem of the three-level inverter is analyzed with respect 150kw, 20kHz prototype are presented to verify the principle of ZCT Operation.

This study explored the Internet searching values(utilitarian searching value and hedonic searching value) of college student consumers, typed the Internet searching values to four types, and analysed the level of perception to Internet shopping' benefit-risk according to the Internet searching value types. The subjects were 361 college students. We used Cronbach'$\alpha$, multiple regression, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe' test as statistical analysis. The results were summarized as follows : 1) According to the Internet searching values, college student consumers were classified into 4 types - high utilitarian/high hedonic type, high utilitarian/low hedonic type, low utilitarian/high hedonic type, and low utilitarian/low hedonic type. 2) Both high utilitarian/high hedonic type and low utilitarian/high hedonic type had high level of perception to Internet shopping' benefit-risk.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of income and emotional closeness with father/mother on middle and high school-adolescent's alienation The subjects were 327 middle and high school students who lived with two-parent in Keoungbok and whose household income was lower \4,000,000. The data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression(using SPSS 12.1). Major findings were as follows: 1) Middle and high school students's alienation was difference. The level of the high school adolescent's alienation was higher than the middle school adolescent's alienation. 2) Middle and high school students's alienation was differed by level of income and emotional closeness with father/mother. The lower level of income and emotional closeness with father/mother, the higher level of adolescent's alienation. 3) Among the income, emotional closeness with father/mother, the income was more influential predictor on high school-adolescent's alienation. But the income was not a significant predictor of middle school-adolescent's alienation. emotional closeness with father was more influential predictor on middle school-adolescent's alienation.

Current source inverter drives of auto sequentially commutated type are very popular in high power applications, because of simple power circuit configuration with four quadrant operation. But the six-step current output create harmonic problems and the input power factor of such a drive is not always good. In this respect pulse width modulated drives using gate turn off thyristors ( GTO ) are finding application, especially in traction drives. However the switching and snubber loses of a GTO do not permit the inverter switching frequency go beyond a few hundred hertz.This will again introduce low frequency harmonic problems. Multi level inverters of the 3-level and 5-level can be considered as an alternative to overcome the low switching frequency harmonic problem of the 2-level GTO inverters. But with multi level inverters the complexity of the power circuit increases. In this paper a combination of multi level ( 2-level and 3-level ) inverters and multi phase induction motor ( 3-phase and 6-phase) configurations are presented for high power VSI drives for traction applications with reduced inverter switching frequency requirements coupled with reduced voltage rating for the power switch.

In order to provide high speed multimedia data rate service, Multi-Code CDMA has been proposed which converts high speed serial data stream into N parallel low speed data streams with orthogonal PN codes for spreading. However this signal has multi level and causes interferences to be increased at the neighboring cell boundary in the reverse link. Therefore in order to solve the above mentioned problem, M/B-MC/CDMA, in which multi level signal is converted to binary level signal using M/B conversion, is proposed and the performance is compared with MC-CDMA.
