3차원 수치해석을 통한 궤도지지말뚝의 동적거동 평가 (Evaluation of Dynamic Behavior for Pile-Supported Slab Track System by 3D Numerical Analysis)

  • Dynamic numerical simulation of pile-supported slab track system embedded in a soft soil and embankment was performed. 3D model was formulated in a time domain to consider the non-linearity of soil by utilizing FLAC 3D, which is a finite difference method program. Soil non-linearity was simulated by adopting the hysteric damping model and liner elements, which could consider soil-pile interface. The long period seismic loads, Hachinohe type strong motions, were applied for estimating seismic respose of the system, Parametric study was carried out by changing subsoil layer profile, embankment height and seismic loading conditions. The most of horizontal permanent displacement was initiated by slope failure. Increase of the embedded height and thickness of the soft soil layer leads increase of member forces of PHC piles; bending moment, and axial force. Finally, basic guidelines for designing pile-supported slab track system under seismic loading are recommended based on the analysis results.

  • In April 1, 2004, age of high-speed railway was opened to korea railroad. The railroad is a means of large transportation which has many talents such as a safety and a regularity. That is a results from various confidential performance tests and evaluations of the system. The railroad system consist of various subsystems - vehicle, power supply, signal, communications, track structures, operations, etc. Among them, as an item of safety evaluation there is a measurement of wheel/rail farce, so called a measurement of derailment coefficient. This is a very important item because a derailment of a train will bring about a big accident. Especially it is more important in high speed rail of which operation speed is over two times as fast as existing rail. In this paper, examined speed elevation possibility use the korean style high speed railway vehicle for reduce the running time of high-speed railway between high speed line and conventional line.

곡선부 선형개량 시 승차감을 고려한 최적평면선형 평가 (Evaluation of Optimal Horizontal Alignment Considering Ride Comfort in Renewal of Curved Tracks)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존선 속도향상을 위한 곡선부 개량 시 승차감을 고려한 최적평면선형범위에 대한 평가방안을 제시하였다. 또한 다양한 선형설계 초기조건들이 허용개량범위와 승차감 측면에서 최적선형 범위에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 매개변수 해석을 수행하였다. 이와 더불어 현재 경부고속선에 부설되어 있는 선형조건들 중 가장 작은 곡선반경을 가진 평면선형들에 대하여 최적 개량범위를 검토하였다. 해석결과, 주요 초기선형설계변수인 곡선반경과 캔트가 클수록 허용개량범위와 최적선형범위가 넓어짐을 알 수 있었으며, 경부고속선 자갈도상구간에 부설되어 있는 R7000/R8000의 경우에도 선형측면에서는 약간의 개량으로도 속도향상이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

철도터널 유지관리 계측센서의 손망실율 연구 (A Study on the Loss and Damage Ratio of Railroad Tunnel Maintenance Monitoring Sensor)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구는 국내와 국외의 도시 및 고속철도터널 유지관리 계측센서의 손망실 현황을 조사하고 분석을 실시하였다. 연구방법: 도시철도터널 유지관리 계측센서 설치 후 5년에서 6년의 손망실율은 서울 지하철5,6,7,9호선은 14.2%에서 14.8%, 영국의 Channel tunnel은 13.9%로 거의 유사하게 나타나 5년 경과연수에서는 15%로 설정하는 것이 타당한 것으로 판단된다. 연구결과: 고속철도터널 유지관리 계측센서 설치 후 3년에서 5년의 손망실율은 호남고속 철도1단계 에서 60.9%로 서울지하철5,6,7,9호선의 4배 이상 크게 나타났다. 결론: 8년에서 10년의 경부고속철도2단계에서는 66.8%로 나타나 5년에서 10년 사이에 급격하게 증가하므로 향후 10년 이상 장기간의 경과연수에 따른 계측항목별 손망실율 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on Fluctuating Pressure Load on High Speed Train Passing through Tunnels

  • The carbody structure of a high speed train passing through a tunnel is subjected to pressure fluctuation. Fatigue strength of the carbody structure against the fluctuating pressure loading should be proved in the design stage for safety. In this study, to get the useful information on the pressure fluctuation in the tunnel, measurement has been conducted during test running of KHST on the high speed line for two years. The measured results were analyzed and arranged to be used for carbody design. A prediction method for the magnitude and frequency of pressure change was proposed and the propagating characteristics of pressure wave was investigated. By statistical analysis for the measured results, a pressure loading spectrum for the high speed train was given. The proposed method can also be used to estimate the pressure loading spectrum for new high speed line at design stage combined with the results of train performance simulation.

  • The opening of high speed railway upgraded our land transportation speed limit, causing lots of changes including living and culture and also paving the way for stepping up the railway technology. However, it is also true that we had a limit to adopt the existing railway system structured for 150km/h to the new structure requiring a higher speed of approximate 300km/h due to technological, based on the time and experience. More importantly, heading toward a step of operating such a high speed railway system, it has been practically and quickly proposed that the railway needs high speed railway engineering, maintenance technology of parts of the vehicles to have a stable maintenance foundation and localization of major parts. Therefore, this study was intended to research the actual displacement characteristics in runningg on an actual track for the purpose of developing the protective and maintenance technology of springs and dampers, which are core parts among suspension elements of a high speed railway vehicle. For this, it was researched the actual vehicle test and its interpretation centered on primary spring, which is used for the suspension system of a bogie, body-body dampers and body-bogie yaw damper. Also, to analyze the displacement characteristics of suspension system in the actual conditions of high speed railway vehicles, a vehicle‘s dynamic characteristics was analyzed and interpreted. At the same time, a tester for measuring the actual displacement of such suspension elements was designed and attached to actual vehicles, to measure the displacements that occur in running it on the Seoul-Busan line, one of major lines serviced by KTX. The displacement data gained from the test with actual vehicles was analyzed for its displacement distribution depending on the service sections and frequency, with which the valuable data necessary for any potential breakdown or maintenance in the future could be obtained.

  • This paper presents a design method of database to manage materials having hierarchical structure on Kyungbu high-speed catenary system. Through this method, the automatic management software was developed. The software can get to find out assemblies as well as single fittings used in a section.

  • In this study, temperature sensors were adhered to transformer that is used in KHST(Korean High-Speed Train) to verify variation of temperature characteristics about transformer synthetically and efficiently. In the case that temperature of transformer exceeds reference temperature for running of KHST, overheating of transformer may cause a fatal accident of vehicle. Therefore, after on-line measuring system was constructed in vehicle, oil temperature and tank temperature were measured on real-time. Characteristics and main specifications of transformer in KHST were described in this paper Also, measuring system for temperature measurement of transformer was explained in brief. Temperature data of transformer was acquired using measuring system, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) analyzed characteristic in contrast with comparing with temperature of transformer about month, running speed and running time.
