해외건설시장의 신성장동력 공종선정 및 진출전략 도출 (Selection and Strategies of New Leading Businesses in International Construction Market)

  • 최근 해외건설시장의 급격한 확대추세 속에서 국내기업들은 지속적인 진출확대와 사업성과 제고를 달성하기 위한 신성장 동력 확보에 힘쓰고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 '어떤 공종이 신성장동력 공종인가?'와 '신성장동력 공종에 어떻게 진출하여야 하는가?'라는 두 가지 질문을 바탕으로 신성장동력 공종을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 산업분석 이론과 자원기반 관점 등을 바탕으로 시장진입 가능성, 수익창출 가능성, 부가가치창출 가능성을 신성장동력 공종의 조건으로 파악하는 한편, 시장의 경쟁강도 및 성장세, 국내기업 경쟁력 수준, 국내시장 파급효과 등을 기준으로 하는 공종평가 프레임워크를 개발하여 그린에너지플랜트, 환경플랜트, 담수화플랜트, 원자력플랜트, 신도시개발, 초고층빌딩 등의 공종을 신성장동력 공종으로 선정하였다. 이후 시장개척 및 선점, 경쟁력 중점강화, 지속적 발전 및 파급효과 확대 등을 목적으로 그린에너지플랜트, 환경플랜트, 신도시개발 공종에 대한 전문가의 의견을 수렴하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 각 공종의 진출전략을 도출하였다.

A Cross-Cultural Investigation of Adults' Formation of Sense of Community through Environmental Autobiography

  • In contemporary Korean society, urban community environment is often associated with high-density and high-rise residences that make people's relationships superficial, instrumental and impersonal. Furthermore, urban community consistently interplays with neighboring residents and childhood emotional experience are influential on their unconscious images and attitude about their current neighborhood environment, while affecting the environmental attitude and the formation of community sense. Previous research found evidences that increased level of community sense is fostering more feeling of living in so-called "real neighborhood environment." This study aimed to cross-culturally examine what the respondents' emotional perception and their attitude were about the community environment in their childhood through environmental autobiography method and to examine the effects of the results on adults' formation of sense of community for their current community environment. Extensive literature review explored a few important theoretical framework which are closely related to sense of community (SOC) as a result of emotional experience: membership, influence, integration and fulfillment of needs, shared emotional connection and community satisfaction. Chi-square and GLM analysis revealed that there were no demographic, and socio-economic differences between two groups of Korean and US residents. Correlation analysis indicated that childhood emotional experience of Koreans and US citizens was statistically significant on sense of community for their current living community. Multi-regression analysis also found that the degree of influence were the main predictors for building strong sense of current community throughout a cross-cultural group. Furthermore, the relationship between various emotional experience of each factor in previous and current community environment were statistically significantly related. It is concluded that as the positive childhood experience of influence in their past community was going up, the level of sense of community for their current community was strengthened across their cross-cultural background.

  • 초고층 복합공간이 증가하면서 건축물의 공간에서는 매우 복잡하고 다양한 상황들이 연출되는데, 이에 대한 관리는 아직도 관리자가 획득한 제한된 정보에 근거해서 내린 의사결정에 의존하고 있다. 그러나 인간의 능력은 한정된 시간 동안에, 제한된 정보를 분석하여, 상황에 맞는 적절한 조치를 취하는 데에는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 첨단 정보기술을 융합한 유비쿼터스 시스템을 이용할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문은 객체 지향 3D 데이터에 관한 연구 현황을 조사하여 3D 데이터 추출 방안, 시스템간의 데이터 교환 방안, 현재 객체 지향 3D 데이터의 활용 상황 등에 대한 정보를 수집하고, 다중이용시설물의 일반적인 공간 정보를 3D CAD 정보에서 추출하여 GIS 시스템으로 보낼 방안을 수립하고자 한다.

Energy and Air Quality Benefits of DCV with Wireless Sensor Network in Underground Parking Lots

  • This study measured and compared the variation of ventilation rate and fan energy consumption according to various control strategies after installing wireless sensor-based pilot ventilation system in order to verify the applicability of demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) strategy that was efficient ventilation control strategy for underground parking lot. The underground parking lot pilot ventilation system controlled the ventilation rate by directly or indirectly tracking the traffic load in real-time after sensing data, using vehicle detection sensors and carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) sensor. The ventilation system has operated for 9 hours per a day. It responded real-time data every 10 minutes, providing ventilation rate in conformance with the input traffic load or contaminant level at that time. A ventilation rate of pilot ventilation system can be controlled at 8 levels. The reason is that a ventilation unit consists of 8 high-speed nozzle jet fans. This study proposed vehicle detection sensor based demand-controlled ventilation (VDS-DCV) strategy that would accurately trace direct traffic load and CO sensor based demand-controlled ventilation (CO-DCV) strategy that would indirectly estimate traffic load through the concentration of contaminants. In order to apply DCV strategy based on real-time traffic load, the minimum required ventilation rate per a single vehicle was applied. It was derived through the design ventilation rate and total parking capacity in the underground parking lot. This is because current ventilation standard established per unit floor area or unit volume of the space made it difficult to apply DCV strategy according to the real-time variation of traffic load. According to the results in this study, two DCV strategies in the underground parking lot are considered to be a good alternative approach that satisfies both energy saving and healthy indoor environment in comparison with the conventional control strategies.

아파트 단지 인공지반의 계획적 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Landscape Planning Evaluation on Apartment Artificial Ground)

  • Landscaping on artificial ground is currently served as a means to imposing a greenery benefit on high-density and high-rise apartment sites. It functions as a sub-hierarchy in apartment planning such as ornamental element from the past. Major parking space tends to be allocated on the basement area in response to the required parking regulation. Therefore, competitive relatioinship between the parking and greenery space I limited outdoor of apartments leads to the development planning strategy and technology of artificial ground. This study aims at evaluating landscape planning on artificial ground of apartment complex through several approaches such as site survey, plan drawing analysis, and interview with related field experts. 15 survey apartment sites including Bundang Model, Shindaebang-dong, Pyoungchon Hyundai Apartments have been selected for conducting the research. Main results of this study are summarized below : First, scattering allocation of artificial ground between apartment building units is a dominant plan layout type among the survey sites. Even though unifying allocation type has an advantage to maximize underground parking space, it has a difficulty in maintaining proper soil ground base for nurturing plants. Therefore, underground parking space should be planned by unifying allocation type placed separately from apartment units. This plan type can provide a balanced planting between soil and artificial ground on surface level. Second, It is strongly recommended to integrate the whole planting base which involves architectural structure, drainage, and water proofing above the planting design. When considering that process as a professional subject dealing with natural material such as trees and shrubs, those tasks should be directed by landscape architectural divison and landscape architect. And planting area for artificial ground has to be specified in initial phase of architectural design. This step provides an opportunity to make a proper decision on structural load, drainage, and water proof design as an integrated part of the management.

탄소섬유쉬트로 보강한 고강도 콘크리트 충전강관(CFT) 기둥의 휨내력에 관한 연구 (Flexural strength of high-strength concrete filled steel tube columns strengthened by carbon fiber sheets)

  • CFT(Concrete Filled Steel Tube)기둥은 부재의 합성효과와 경제적인 측면 때문에 최근 고층건물 시공 시 널리 쓰이고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구문헌을 살펴보면 CFT 기둥은 강관의 항복이후 강관의 일정지점에 국부좌굴이 생기는 단점을 지니고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 예상 국부좌굴부위를 탄소섬유쉬트로 보강하여 국부좌굴을 방지하거나 지연시키는 TR-CFT (Transversely Reinforced Concrete Filled Steel Tube) 기둥에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고강도 콘크리트를 사용한 TR-CFT기둥의 실험을 수행하였으며 휨내력에 대한 해석을 수행한 결과 실험값과 해석값이 잘 일치하였다. 또한 기존의 ACI 318 설계법은 강관내부에서 발생하는 콘크리트에 대한 구속효과를 고려하지 않아 저평가가 되어있음을 알 수 있었다.

유입 공기의 배출 성능 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Improvement Plan of Inflowing Air Emission)

  • 연구목적: 고층 건물 화재시 제연구역이 효과적으로 보호되지 않으면 수직피난경로에 연기나 화염이 유입되어 대피가 어려워진다. 국가화재안전기준에서는 제연구역에 차압 및 방연풍속을 공급하여 능동적으로 연기 유입을 억제하고, 제연구역으로부터 옥내로 유입되는 공기는 옥외로 배출되도록 하고 있다. 본 연구는 유입 공기의 배출로 인한 문제점을 확인하고 성능개선 방안에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: CONTAM 프로그램을 사용하여 기본조건과 변경조건으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 연구결과: 밀폐된 복도에서 유입 공기가 배출되면 제연구역에서 과압이 발생하여 개방력을 초과하였고 유입공기가 배출되지 않는 층 에서는 방연풍속이 미달하였다. 결론: "차압 배출댐퍼" 적용, 배출댐퍼 2개층 동시 개방, 복도와 옥외 사이 자동식 창문 설치로 유입공기의 배출 성능이 개선되었다.

A deep learning framework for wind pressure super-resolution reconstruction

  • Strong wind is the main factors of wind-damage of high-rise buildings, which often creates largely economical losses and casualties. Wind pressure plays a critical role in wind effects on buildings. To obtain the high-resolution wind pressure field, it often requires massive pressure taps. In this study, two traditional methods, including bilinear and bicubic interpolation, and two deep learning techniques including Residual Networks (ResNet) and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), are employed to reconstruct wind pressure filed from limited pressure taps on the surface of an ideal building from TPU database. It was found that the GANs model exhibits the best performance in reconstructing the wind pressure field. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that k-means clustering based retained pressure taps as model input can significantly improve the reconstruction ability of GANs model. Finally, the generalization ability of k-means clustering based GANs model in reconstructing wind pressure field is verified by an actual engineering structure. Importantly, the k-means clustering based GANs model can achieve satisfactory reconstruction in wind pressure field under the inputs processing by k-means clustering, even the 20% of pressure taps. Therefore, it is expected to save a huge number of pressure taps under the field reconstruction and achieve timely and accurately reconstruction of wind pressure field under k-means clustering based GANs model.

누가 왜 빈곤에 빠지는가? 빈곤진입자의 특성 및 요인 (Why Do Some People Become Poor? The Characteristics and Determinants of Poverty Entry)

  • 본 연구는 1998~2008년 한국노동패널자료를 이용하여 빈곤진입자의 사회·경제적 특성 및 빈곤진입의 원인과 그 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 분석결과 빈곤진입자들은 장기빈곤층과 비빈곤집단의 중간적인 특성을 보이고 있으며 다수가 빈곤에의 진입과 탈출을 반복하는 집단으로 추정된다. 외환위기 직후 높은 수준을 보이던 빈곤진입율은 점차 안정화되고 있으나, 전통적인 위험집단뿐만 아니라 청년층과 고학력자, 전문직 등에서도 빈곤에 빠지는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 빈곤진입의 가장 중요한 원인은 실직 및 고용불안정으로 빈곤정책 역시 여기에 초점을 두어야 할 것이며, 빈곤진입의 원인과 특성이 향후 빈곤지속기간과 탈출 가능성에 미치는 영향 등 빈곤의 동태적 측면에 대한 후속연구가 필요하다.

Review on Quantitative Measures of Robustness for Building Structures Against Disproportionate Collapse

  • Disproportionate collapse triggered by local structural failure may cause huge casualties and economic losses, being one of the most critical civil engineering incidents. It is generally recognized that ensuring robustness of a structure, defined as its insensitivity to local failure, is the most acceptable and effective method to arrest disproportionate collapse. To date, the concept of robustness in its definition and quantification is still an issue of controversy. This paper presents a detailed review on about 50 quantitative measures of robustness for building structures, being classified into structural attribute-based and structural performance-based measures (deterministic and probabilistic). The definition of robustness is first described and distinguished from that of collapse resistance, vulnerability and redundancy. The review shows that deterministic measures predominate in quantifying structural robustness by comparing the structural responses of an intact and damaged structure. The attribute-based measures based on structural topology and stiffness are only applicable to elastic state of simple structural forms while the probabilistic measures receive growing interest by accounting for uncertainties in abnormal events, local failure, structural system and failure-induced consequences, which can be used for decision-making tools. There is still a lack of generalized quantifications of robustness, which should be derived based on the definition and design objectives and on the response of a structure to local damage as well as the associated consequences of collapse. Critical issues and recommendations for future design and research on quantification of robustness are provided from the views of column removal scenarios, types of structures, regularity of structural layouts, collapse modes, numerical methods, multiple hazards, degrees of robustness, partial damage of components, acceptable design criteria.
