  • Air-operated valve is one of principal valves that are used to control fluid flow in nuclear power plants. A periodic diagnosis for the safety of power plants is necessary. But there are many difficulties such as economic loss caused by income of high cost devices and a matter hard to deal with users. In this study, we developed the diagnostic system that users of power plants are easy to handle. The diagnostic system is composed of database module, diagnosis test module and analysis module.

  • This paper represent about design of the controller for battery of a PE drum for power supply using PV Module. Simulation is represents V-I and power characteristic by Mathematica & Pspice 6.0 & Qnet 2.1. Finally, we composed of road surface-signpost system. This system is successfully operating with high clearness lights.

  • 본 논문은 통신용전원장치와 같은 대용량의 DC 전원 장치에 적용하기 위하여 3상용 6 Switch로 구성된 Bridge로써 대용량 DC-DC converter에 적합한 Topology에 관한 것이다. 기본 동작은 기존의 Phase shifted ZVS PWM 방식을 사용하며, Bridge의 바깥쪽 양쪽암의 펄스폭을 제어하는데, 같은 펄스를 동시에 주는 방식과 각각 별도로 제어하는 방식, 두암의 위상을 지연시키는 방식에 관하여 연구하였다. 제안된 Topology들은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 그 동작특성을 확인하였고, 대용량에 적용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 장치의 용량은 출력 500[A]/30[V] 회로를 구성하여 각각의 경우에 대하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시하였다.

  • Recently, the shift to next-generation wide-bandgap (WBG) power semiconductor for electric vehicle is accelerated due to the need to improve power conversion efficiency and to overcome the limitation of conventional Si power semiconductor. With the adoption of WBG semiconductor, it is also required that the packaging materials for power modules have high temperature durability. As an alternative to conventional high-temperature Pb-based solder, Ag sintering die attach, which is one of the power module packaging process, is receiving attention. In this study, we will introduce the recent research trends on the Ag sintering die attach process. The effects of sintering parameters on the bonding properties and methodology on the exact physical properties of Ag sintered layer by the realization 3D image are discussed. In addition, trends in thermal shock and power cycle reliability test results for power module are discussed.

  • In recent, electronic devices were able to develop and focus for ultra-compact size, intelligence, multifunction and broadband. Their SMPS is realized to ultra-compact size, light weight, high efficiency, high reliability, low noises. The power module which can be used to supply DC output from a commercial power supply (85 to 265 VAC). A switching power supply can be made easily by adding simply external circuit, such as microcontroller, a relay, etc. It would be apply to mostly electronic devices, and fit the global project "Saving energy". But we need to statistical analysis for a quality and performance about a load and an output voltage in product.

  • This paper reports an experimental study around a module about forced air flow by blower($35{\times}35{\times}6mm^3$) in portable PC(10mm high, 200mm wide, and 235mm long). The channel inlet flow velocity has been varied between 0.26, 0.52 and 0.78m/s. The power input to the module is 4Wthis report, particular attention is directed to the fluid flow and adiabatic wall temperature($T_(ad)$) around a module which is under fluid mechanical and thermal influences of the module. The fluid flow around a module was visualized using PIV system. Liquid crystal thernography is used to determine the adiabatic wall temperature around a heated module on an acrylic board. Plots of $T_(ad)$ (or F) show marked effects of dispersion of thermal wake near the module.

  • In this paper, a controller for the linear motor with high speed and stiffness is implemented using SERCOS interface which is a real time communication protocol between the numerical controller(NC) and the motor driver. The proposed controller is mainly composed of current, speed, and position controller, which are designed using the 32-bit DSP(TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device (EPM7128), and Intelligent Power Module(IPM) to enhance reliability and compactness of the system. The experimental results show the effective performance of the proposed controller for he linear motor with high speed and stiffness.

  • Currently, most of TDIS(Train Destination Indicator System) is operated colored-LED type equipment in Korea. This current LED type TDIS equipment has not graceful display and causes passenger's fatigues because of the LED module inherent characteristics as a display light source, high power consumption, high operating and maintenance costs, and et al. To address these several, we are developed new colored-LCD type TDIS equipment. According to our developed new TDIS equipment, we can achieve high resolution and graceful color stone of information display. Thus high graded service are able to provide to passengers. In addition, LCD module decreases power consumption, and it can be used permanently by changing only backlight in comparison with conventional equipment. Therefore we can decrease the maintenance cost and extend durability-period of TDIS equipment using new equipment.
