Rebuilding an existing paper machine is often a very profitable way for papermakers to increase the cash flow created by an older paper machine. Metso Paper has placed particular emphasis in recent years on developing concepts and products specifically for rebuild needs. The outcome of this work can now be seen as a wide selection of products offering quite possibly the best coverage of all time of specific improvement targets. Different needs can be addressed through truly different solutions. Selection the best-fit alternatives will offer great upgrade options for all paper machines and paper grades. Metso Paper's long experience with high-speed paper machines has been put to good use to create more cost-effective small and mid-sized solutions with the reliability and quality of bigger and faster paper machines. This paper has discussed some of the most interesting and latest configurations available today for paper machine and finishing area rebuilds.

The purpose of this study is to analyze lesson plans from third to sixth grades of science and to find out teaching strategies in respects of learning functions provided by preservice elementary teachers in education university. On the whole, to control students' learning process preservice teachers used more shared-regulation strategy than strong teacher-regulation one. Teaching activities for regulative learning function were most used in strategy of strong teacher-regulation, and in strategy of shared-regulation those for cognitive learning functions were most used. But teaching activities for affective learning functions were used a little considered in both teaching strategies. In introduction step of instruction, affective and regulative learning functions were more instructed by strong teacher-regulation strategy and cognitive learning functions were more instructed by shared-regulation strategy. The affective, cognitive, and regulative learning functions were largely planned by shared-regulation teaching strategy in development. The regulative learning functions were planned by strong teacher-regulation strategy than by shared-regulation strategy and affective learning functions were considered a little bit in consolidation. There was a tendency that strong teacherregulation strategy was increased in lessons for fifth and sixth grade.

the observations in situ and the seawater analyses were conducted in July and August, 1996 for the purpose of evaluating the characteristics of seawater quality centered on eutrophication in Mokpo harbour. By applying the OECD standards of trophic classification to the parameters such as secchi depth, total inorganic nitrogen, phosphate phosphorus and chlorophyll-a, the trophic level of seawater in Mokpo harbour was evaluated to be in eutrophic state in summer. By the estimation of pollution index with relation to eutrophication, the seawater quality of Mokpo harbour was evaluated to be under the regular grades and this evaluation was found to be different from the results of evaluation obtained by the environmental index of single parameter, chemical oxygen demand. By the estimation of eutrophication index, the seawaters of Mokpo harbour were shown to have the high potentiality of red tide occurrence.

The purpose of this study is to examine the level and major influencing factors of pro-environmental consumer consciousness and resource-saving behavior of adolescents. The research was conducted in 2007 using a written questionnaire completed by 545 male and female high-school students who reside in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. The data was analyzed using statistical methods such as frequencies, percent, means, standard deviations, Crobach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS statistics program. Major findings were as follows. The higher level background parameters for pro-environmental consumption consciousness were students who were: male in higher grades; given a higher allowance of pocket money. Likewise, a higher degree of mutual communication within their family, mass communications' contact and environmental information also showed a higher level of pro-environmental consumer consciousness.

This study was designed to examine children's comprehension monitoring ability. Specifically the purpose of this study was to investigate (1) children's monitoring standards preference according to monitoring ability, and (2) the relationships between comprehension monitoring and working memory capacity. The subjects were 60 children, 30 each in 2nd and 4th grades. To measure comprehension monitoring ability, 7 stories including erroneous sentences were used. Working memory capacity was measured by the Reading Span Test (Lee, 1995). Results showed that (1) the high and low monitoring children were not different in monitoring standard preference, and (2) comprehension monitoring ability was significantly and positively related to working memory capacity.

Purpose: This study was done to develop a cell phone addiction scale for Korean children. Methods: The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of initial items, verification of content validity, selection of secondary items, preliminary study, and extraction of final items. The participants were 268 children from grades 4 to 6 in two urban elementary schools. Construct validity, internal consistence reliability, and split-half reliability were used to analyze the data. Results: Nine items were categorized into 2 factors explaining 61.29% of total variance. The factors were labeled as obsessive compulsion (6 items) and dependency (3 items). Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 9 items was .87, and Spearman-Brown coefficient was .83. Scale scores identified children as high risk users, at risk users, or average users by standard scores. Conclusion: The above findings indicate that the cell phone addiction scale for children has good validity and reliability when used with Korean children.

Purpose of this study is to analyze the validity of textbook content on practical arts for the 6th curriculum, to grasp the content problems and to propose the strategy of reformation to be satisfied with consumer better than supplier. The data collected from 196 elemantary school teachers who lived in Gyungsang-namdo and analized by SPSS/PC(sup)+ package program. The statistical methods used for analysis were frequency, descriptives, validity, t-test, oneway ANOVA. The major findings can be summarised as follows： 1. The textbooks on practical arts for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades showed unbalanced division for picture, figure, table unite and evaluation type of all units doesn’t show diversity. 2. The validity of textbook contents on practical arts was found to be the highest for 3rd grade textbook and the lowest for 6th grade one. Among the validity of the evaluation items,‘differentiation with other subject’and ‘usefulness of living’showed high scores, wheres ‘fitness of child level’marked lowest score. 3. There was no significant difference Among the validity contents of teachers based on socio-demographic variables.

We focus our attention on grading of table meat in accordance with the standard of Japan Meat Grading Association, and construct a beef grading system by image processing. For image processing of beef grading, it needs some techniques such as a shading correction, separation of color image data, and classification of color image data into some grades, for the system construction. However, there are various kinds of weak points in usually used methods for these techniques. Then the authors propose and introduce new approaches using Neural networks and fuzzy inference for the techniques above mentioned, which is very convenient and ensure the high precision.
