  • 본 연구는 초고속 지능형 라인센터 개발에 관한 것으로서 1 차 년도 볼 스크류 방식의 시험모델에 대한 종합 검토 결과를 바탕으로 2 차 연도에는 리니어 모터를 채택한 라인센터의 시제품 설계에 있어서 고속화를 위한 방안을 모색하고 컴팩트한 경량의 구조를 지향하는 라인 센터 구조물을 설계하였고, 3 차 년도에는 라인센터의 제작 및 종합적인 시험 평가를 통하여 상품화 모델을 정립하고자 하였다.

It is going to make mention of the process of 1st model production for the above-mentioned base on test model production and evaluation.

  • Recently, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) drives are widely used for industrial applications due to its high efficiency and high power factor control strategy. PMSM generally have two classifications such as the SPMSM(Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) and IPMSM(Inter Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors). IPMSA has economical merits over SPMSM in higher speed range, mechanical robustness, and higher power rate by the geometric difference. The maximum torque operation in IPMSM is realized by the current angle control which is to utilize additional reluctance torque due to a rotor saliency. In traction, spindle and compressor drives, constant power operation with higher speed range are desirable. This is simply achieved in the DC motor drives by the reduction of the field current as the speed is increased. However, in the PMSM, direct control of the magnet flux is not available. The airgap flux can be weakened by the appropriate current angle control to demagnetize. In this paper, the control method of optimal current vector in IPMSM is described in order to obtain the maximum torque or maximum output with the speed and load variations. The applied algorithm is realized by the proto system with torque and speed control Experimental results show this approach is satisfied for the high performance servo applications.   • 본 논고에서는 Radial 및 Axial 하중을 동시에 받을 수 있고, 예압에 의해 주축강성을 증대시킬수 있으며, Ball수의 증가로 부하능력을 향상시킨 초정 밀.초고속용 Angular ball bearing을 조합 사용하고, 고속회전에 지금까지 개 발된 ball bearing 윤활방법 중 가장 효과적인 간헐적인 oil 공급과 air 압력 으로, 계속 ball을 냉각, 윤활시켜주는 air oil 윤활법의 채용과, 국내 공작기 계 제조회사들이 주로 사용하는 일본 FAMUC AC Spindle motor(FAMUC-H type : 8000-15000rpm)를 사용해서 초고속 주축의 최적 설계조건을 제시하기 위한 기초연구 단계로 MT40-12000rpm 급의 Machining center용 Cartridge type의 Spindle unit개발을 통해서 주축설계에 따른 문제점과 연구용 주축제작의 생산 기술적 문제점 및 진동특성을 검토 하고자 한다.

IPTV 셋톱박스 환경에서 스트리밍 데이터 재생을 위한 전력 소모 감소 기법 (Low Power Consumption Technology for Streaming Data Playback in the IPTV Set-top Box)

  • IPTV 셋톱박스에서 가장 많이 사용하는 저장장치인 하드디스크는 가격에 비해 저장용량이 크고 입출력 속도가 빠르지만 스핀들 모터의 기계적 동작으로 인해 전력 소모가 많다는 단점이 있다. 셋톱박스에서 스트리밍 데이터를 재생하기 위하여 하드디스크의 스핀들 모터는 최대 전력을 사용하는 활성모드를 계속 유지해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 스트리밍 데이터 재생 시 전력 소모를 감소시키는 오프셋-버퍼링(Offset-Buffering)과 다중모드 스핀-다운(Multi Mode Spin-Down) 기법을 제안한다. 오프셋-버퍼링은 사용자의 시청 패턴을 분석하고 분석된 결과를 통해 버퍼링을 하므로 스핀들 모터의 모드를 대기모드로 길게 유지할 수 있다. 또한 오프셋 버퍼의 크기에 따라 다양한 모드로 스핀-다운을 하여 전력 소모를 줄일 수 있다. 실험 결과 본 논문에서 제안한 오프셋-버퍼링과 다중모드 스핀-다운은 기존의 풀-버퍼링(Full-Buffering)보다 28.3% 전력 소모량을 감소시켰으며, 스핀-업 횟수를 12.5% 줄였다.

A comprehensive study of spin coating as a thin film deposition technique and spin coating equipment

  • Description and theory of spin coating technique has been elaborately outlined and a spin coating machine designed and fabricated using affordable components. The system was easily built with interdisciplinary knowledge of mechanics, fluid mechanics and electronics. This equipment employs majorly three basic components and two circuit units in its operation. These include a high speed dc motor, a proximity sensor mounted at a distance of about 15 mm from a reflective metal attached to the spindle of the motor to detect every passage of the reflective metal at its front and generate pulses. The pulses are transmitted to a micro-controller which process them into rotational speed (revolution per minute) and displays it on a lead crystal display (LCD) which is also a component of the micro-controller. The circuit units are a dc power supply unit and a PWM motor speed controlling unit. The various components and circuit units of this equipment are housed in a metal casing made of an 18 gauge black metal sheet designed with a total area of 1, $529.2cm^2$. To illustrate the use of the spin-coating system, ZnO sol-gel films were prepared and characterized using SEM, XRD, UV-vis, FT-IR and RBS and the result agrees well with that obtained from standard equipment and a speed of up to 9000 RPM has been achieved.

  • Though the research and the development in the field of machine tool was focused on high precision and high speed machine these days, traditional gear reduction device has been used to increase the cutting force which was transmitted from power source, motor In this study, analysis of 2 step gear reducer used in machining center spindle was carried out by using APM WinMachine which is commercial software for the analysis of machine element and system. For the analysis of this device, first of all, the analysis of power source and the transmitting of it were carried out. Then, machine elements like gear, shaft, bearing, and the forth, was analyzed in the view point of life time, static strength, stiffness, fatigue failure, etc. Consequently, we can estimate them and introduce new idea of the design modification of reduction device by this study.

적응 Feedforward를 이용한 자기베어링 고속 주축계의 전기적 런아웃 제어 (Runout Control of a Magnetically Suspended High Speed Spindle Using Adaptive Feedforward Method)

  • In this paper, the feedforward control with least mean square (LMS) adaptive algorithm is proposed and examined to reduce rotating error by runout of an active magnetic bearing system. Using eddy-current type gap sensor fur control, the electrical runout caused by non-uniform material properties of sensor target produces rotational error amplified in feedback control loop, so this runout should be eliminated to increase rotating accuracy. The adaptive feedforward controller is designed and examined its tracking and stability performances numerically with established frequency response function. The tested grinding spindle system is manufactured with a 5.5 ㎾ internal motor and 5-axis active magnetic bearing system including 5 eddy current gap sensors which have approximately 15 ~ 30 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of electrical runout. According to the experimental analysis, the error signal in radial bearings is reduced to less than 5 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ when it is rotating up to 50,000 rpm due to applying the feedforward control for first order harmonic frequency, and vibration of the spindle base is also reduced about same frequency.
