고속가공 시스템의 가공정밀도 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Machining Accuracy Evaluation Method of High Speed Machining)

  • KS and ISO have proposed several evaluation methods of conventional machine tools. Even though the accuracy of the tools can be evaluated with these methods, there are still no proper evaluation methods of high speed machining. Because it is hard to evaluate characteristics of high speed machining such as decrease of cutting temperature, cutting force, and reduced machining time. Therefore, new evaluation method for high speed machine should be developed. In this paper, several shapes of model have been proposed to evaluate cutting accuracy of high speed machine.

  • Recently, high accuracy and high precision are required in various industrial fields that are composed of semiconductor manufacturing apparatus and ultra precision positioning apparatus and information system and so on. The positioning technology is a very important one among them. This technology has been rapidly developed, its field needs for positioning accuracy to high as submicron. It is expected that accuracy with 10 nm in precision working and accuracy with 1 nm in ultra precision working are reached at the beginning of 2000s. Recently, to accomplish this positioning technology, many researches are concerned about it and make efforts it. This paper contain design technology of ultra precision 2-axis(X-Y Delta) stage for materialize to positioning accuracy with submicron, where, Delta stage is design as optimum against load and disturbance. And computer simulation is performed for stability and dynamic characteristic of Delta stage.

미세홈 가공시 고압공기분사에 의한 형상정밀도의 향상 (The Improvement of Form Accuracy by High Pressure Air Jet in Slot Grinding)

  • One of the recent changes in machining technology is rapid application of micro- and high precision grinding processes. A fine groove generation is necessary for the fabrication of optic, electronic and semiconductor parts, and achieved by chemical or mechanical processes. Slot grinding is very efficient for the generation of micro ordered groove with hard and brittle materials. As slot grinding is continuous, the ground depth become gradually shallow because of wheel wear. The form accuracy become worse from the increase of ground slot width by the loading phenomena at wheel side, results on chipping damage of the workpiece. The experiments achieve to the enhancement of the form accuracy and chipping free of the brittle materials using V shaped cast iron bonded diamond wheels. In this study we focused on the investigation of the effect of the high pressure air jet on the grinding characteristics. As a results, we found that the high pressure air jet is very effective on the reductions of the wheel wear, enhancement of the form accuracy.

  • 제품 정밀도와 생산성 향상을 위해 고속프레스의 초고속화 및 초정밀화 기술이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 그러나 고속프레스는 작동 속도 증가에 따라 슬라이드의 반복 위치 정밀도가 저하되고 프레스 구조 부품의 파손 위험성은 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 고속프레스의 설계 정밀도를 향상시키기 위해서는 이런 문제점을 해석적으로 예측하고 설계에 미리 반영하는 것이 필요하다. 이번 연구에서는 편심 질량을 갖는 프레스 구동부 부품의 회전에 따른 동적 탄성 변형을 유한요소해석과 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 고속의 작동 조건에서 프레스의 정밀도와 파손 위험성 변화를 평가하였다.

대형증발계용 매시간 증발 기록계 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Hourly Evaporation Recording Instrument for Class A Pan)

  • A new method is developed to estimate the evaporation of water from a surface with high accuracy and resolution. The principle of new method is to detect a weight change of buoyant weight according to a change in water level of Class A Pan mesured by the use of a strain-gauge load cell. Field test of evaporation recording new instrument was carried out at Suwon for 10 days July 1999. It is possible in field observation to measure hourly evaporation amount by newly developed evaporation recording instrument in Class A Pan against strong solar radiation. Present study provide a possibility of domestic high accuracy instrument development below than 0.1mm water level measurement accuracy. If there is low humidity and high wind speed conditions which is possible to evaporate from water surface during night time. And it needs continuous study to understand between meteorological elements and latent heat effect at ground level by field observation study using high accuracy evaporation recording instrument.

  • Grinding technology in morden industry society is focusing on research and development for grinding stone and machin-ing parts for the purpose of high accuracy and high efficiency of products. But in order to equip the high technology and high accuracy of micro stone which is one of grinding stone a continuous effort on R& D is require. In this study the honing processing work of 2 cycle engine cylinder for motorcycle which has an open hole is carried out so as to investigate the boring and hone stone effects on accuracy of honing. As the experimental result of this study we could conclude that it is possible to secure good conditions of honing by controlling and keeping appropriate cycle-time in the stage of boring for the prior step of honing.

  • Generally, the machining accuracy in ball end milling directly depends on the rotational accuracy affected by the spindle speeds. The effects of spindle speeds for rotational accuracy in the high speed regions are more dominant than those in the low speed regions. This paper will investigate effects that the Increased speed affects on the rotational error according to the increase of a rotational speed and machining characteristics of the high speed ball-end milling in various rotational speeds and on various materials by using the high speed air-bearing spindle.

  • An automated surface-strain measurement system, named ASIAS, was developed by using the image processing and stereo vision techniques in the previous studies by the corresponding author and his coworkers. This system has been upgraded mainly to improve the accuracy through image enhancement, sub-pixel measurement, surface smoothing, etc., since the first version was released. The present study has still more improved the convenience of users as well as the accuracy of measurement by processing high resolution images 8 mega pixels or more which can be easily obtained from a portable digital steal camera. It is proved that high resolution image processing greatly decreases the measurement error and gives strain data without considerable deterioration of accuracy even when the deformed grids to be measured and the master grids for camera calibration are captured together in the same image, making the whole process of strain measurement much simpler.

고정밀 전력미터의 개발과 신뢰성 확보 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the High-Accuracy Power Meter and Reliability Verification Plan)

  • We propose a design method of high accuracy power measuring device and the method of securing the reliability of the measured data. As a design method for the development of the high accuracy power measuring device, the circuit was made by reflecting the high accuracy power measuring ICs and the CT (Current Transformer). To ensure the reliability of the power meter, we requested to the watt-hour meter certified testing organization to measure the error rate, and the error rate of active power based on the "Wattmeter Technical Standard(Revision notify 2014-283)" was measure, and the error rate was confirmed to be less than 0.1%.
