중년기 성인의 노화불안과 영향요인 (Aging Anxiety and Related Factors of Middle-Aged Adults)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify aging anxiety and influencing factors of middle-aged adults. Methods: Descriptive correlation design was used. Three hundred and three middle-aged adults participated in the study and completed the questionnaires in the period from September 11 to October 15 of 2011. The data was analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchial multiple regression analysis. Results: Aging anxiety of middle-aged adults was higher than a moderate level. Socio-demographic variables such as age, religion, education, economic level, perceived health status and experience of living with older adults influenced significantly on aging anxiety. In contrast, general self-efficacy, aging knowledge and attitude toward older adults were negatively correlated with aging anxiety. Hierarchial multiple regression analysis incorporating these variables showed an explanation rate of aging anxiety at 21%. And religion, perceived health status, attitude toward older adults, and general self-efficacy were statistically significant among variables that influence on aging anxiety. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that senior preparation programs that can enhance self-efficacy, induce positive attitude on older adults and promote health should be implemented to reduce aging anxiety of middle-aged adults.

일 농어촌 중년여성의 고혈압에 대한 건강신념 및 건강행위 실천의지 (A Study of Middle-Aged Women's Health Beliefs and Their Intention to Practice Health Behaviors to Prevent and Improve Hypertension)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate factors related to middle-aged women's health beliefs and their intention to practice health behaviors for preventing and improving hypertension. Methods: The participants were 319 middle-aged(40-59 years) women who lived G city. Data was collected from January to February, 2005. Personal interviews were performed. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's multiple comparison test and hierarchial multiple regression analysis. Results: Perceived susceptibility of health belief was high in those who had higher educational level, disease history and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived seriousness was high in those who had higher educational level, middle economic status and health education experience, significantly(p<0.05). Perceived benefits was high in those who had higher educational level and perceived barriers was low in those who had disease history and hypertension, significantly(p<0.05). The subject's intention to practice health behaviors was significantly high in those who were younger, who had higher educational level and menopausal status(p<0.05). In hierarchial multiple regression analysis, the subject's intention was related to perceived seriousness, perceived benefit and educational level, significantly(p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to develope the education programs which can increase the subject's health belief and intention to practice health behaviors towards hypertension in middle-aged women.

임상간호사의 감성지능과 대인관계능력, 직무만족도의 관계 (The Relationships among Emotional Intelligence, Interpersonal Relationship, and Job Satisfaction of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations among emotional intelligence, interpersonal relationship, and job satisfaction among clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 315 nurses who had worked for more than 6 months at five general hospitals by a self-reported questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchial regression using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The mean score of emotional intelligence was 3.42 and the score of self emotional appraisal was the highest. The mean score of interpersonal relationship was 3.44 and the score of intimacy was the highest. The mean score of job satisfaction was 3.04. Emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship were positively correlated with the job satisfaction. Hierarchial multiple regression analysis showed that use of emotion was the main factor of affecting job satisfaction, which explained 30.8% of the variance for the nurses' job satisfaction together with intimacy, regulation of emotion, position, and monthly salary. Conclusion: These findings indicated that emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship, especially use and control of emotion and intimacy contributed to nurses' job satisfaction. It is necessary to develop and implement the program for increasing emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship for improving job satisfaction.

한국 노인의 주관적 감각장애와 인지기능 간 관계: 2017 노인실태조사 자료를 중심으로 (The Association between Self-Reported Sensory Impairment and Cognitive Function among Korean Older Adults: Results from the 2017 National Survey of the Living Conditions and Welfare Needs of Older Koreans)

  • 본 연구는 한국 노인이 주관적으로 인식하는 감각장애와 인지기능 간의 관계 조사이다. 연구방법은 2017년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하여 65세 이상 10,082명에 대한 주관적 감각장애에 대한 평가 자료와 MMSE-DS를 통한 인지기능 간 관계를 위계적 다중회귀분석과 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 시력, 청력, 구강 기능에 대해 주관적 불편감을 보고할수록 인지기능 감소의 위험이 높게 나타났다. 또한 청력, 구강에 대한 불편감은 치매로 이어질 가능성이 높음을 발견하였다. 특히 다른 감각기능에 비해 청력 불편감이 치매의심 집단의 인지기능과 상관관계가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 노인의 감각기능을 정부 차원에서 관리할 필요성이 있으며, 노인 스스로 감각기능의 신체적 변화를 지각하고 평가하기 위한 도구를 개발할 필요가 있음을 제안한다. 아울러 노인의 건강 증진을 위한 구체적인 방안을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

여대생의 스트레스와 정신건강과의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과 -일부 전문대학 여대생을 중심으로- (Mediating Effect of Social Support on the Relation between the Stress and Mental Health of Female College Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the mediated effect of social support in relationship of stress and mental health of woman college students. Methods: Data were collected by distributing self recording type questionnaire to 336 woman students in three universities placed in Gyeonggi-do, who agreed attending to the research, and then were re-collected. The statistical methods used for data analysis were the descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, One-way ANOVA test, Pearson correlation coefficient, hierarchial regression analysis. Results: 1. According to the research, it appeared that social support differed depending on the grade the one is in(F=10.643, p<0.05), and mental health(F=3.446, p<0.05) and social support(F=2.444, p<0.05) differed depending on the family's economical level. 2. As the result of analysis of relationship of objects' mental health, stress, and social support, it appeared that mental health and stress(r=-0.605, p<0.01), mental health and social support(r=0.276, p<0.01) have relationship to each other. 3. As the result of hierarchial regression analysis for verifying the mediated effect of social support in relationship of research objects' stress and mental health, it showed that social support partially mediate in relationship of stress and mental health. Conclusion: The program which can intensify woman college students' social support and decrease stress needs to be developed and provided, in order to arrange solution of promoting woman students' mental health.

호텔 종사원의 직무특성 인지도와 서비스품질의 관계: 성과 재직기간의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Relationship between Job Characteristics and Service Quality, and Moderating Effect of Gender and Tenure)

  • Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. Multiple regressional analysis showed that job importance, job variety, and feedback had an positive impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, but autonomy had a negative impact on tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance. Hierarchical regressional analysis showed that gender had moderating effects on 4 relationships between job characteristics and service quality, and tenure had moderating effects on 3 relationships.

  • The purpose of this research is to test the effects of employee perceived job characteristics on service quality. Empirical analysis was based on the data of 692 hotel employees from Seoul and Gyung-gi province. To test the relationship between job characteristics and service quality, multiple regression analysis was applied, and hierarchial regression analysis(Cohen & Cohen, 1983) applied to test the moderating effects of gender and tenure. 대학생이 느끼는 절망감이 행복감에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지의 조절효과 (Effects of College Students' Hopelessness upon Their Happiness: Moderating Effects of Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 느끼는 절망감이 행복감에 미치는 과정에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 검증하기 위한 연구이다. 이를 위해 전라북도에 소재한 4년제 대학교 학생 734명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 연구방법은 빈도분석, t-test, ANOVA, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 절망감은 행복감을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 행복감을 종속변수로 선정하고, 절망감과 사회적 지지를 단계적으로 투입하는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 절망감은 행복감에 부(-)의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 지지는 절망감이 행복감에 영향을 미치는데 있어 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 하여 대학생의 정신건강 향상과 사회적 지지 같은 긍정적 기제 마련을 위한 실천적, 정책적 함의에 대하여 논의 하였다.

간호대학생의 인유두종바이러스 접종 의도 및 영향요인: 계획된 행동이론을 기반으로 (Factor Associated with the Intention of Human Papillomavirus Vaccination with Nursing Students: Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 계획된 행동이론을 적용하여 간호대학생의 인유듀종바이러스(Human Papilloma Virus, HPV) 예방접종 의도를 파악하고, 관련 요인을 알아보기 위함으로 D광역시에 소재한 간호대학에 재학중인 학생을 대상으로 총 195명의 자료를 수집하였다. SPSS 25.0 program을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 대상자의 HPV 예방접종 의도는 5.24±1.66(7점 척도)이었으며, HPV 예방접종 의도에 태도(β=.446 p<.001), 주관적 규범(β=.134, p=.041), 지각된 행동 통제(β=.321, p<.001) 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 변수는 대상자의 HPV 예방접종 의도를 54.4% 설명하였다. 본 연구결과 바탕으로 HPV 예방접종에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 가지고, HPV 예방접종을 용이하게 할 수 있는 정책 및 접종을 독려하기 위한 프로그램이 요구되며, 본인의 접종 및 미래의 간호교육자로서의 성교육과 홍보활동을 위한 교육이 필요하다고 사료된다.

병원의 조직문화와 조직구성원의 임파워먼트와의 관계 (Relationship between Organizational Culture and Hospital Worker's Empowerment)

  • Organizational culture has been, by and large, regarded as one of the most significant factors to manage organizations. Especially the understanding of empowerment is pivotal, leading to explain organizational cultures. For hospital workers whose services are closely related to quality and performance of their hospitals, empowerment is now called upon more than ever before. This study is intended to investigate the relationship between organizational culture types and hospital workers' empowerment levels. The data were collected from 589 hospital workers at one university hospital and two general hospitals using the self reported questionnaire from Jan.9 to Jan.20 in 2004. The findings were as follows: 1. Empowerment levels were significantly different among the four organizational culture types. Developmental culture group showed the highest empowerment score(3.74), and next were group culture(3.64), rational culture(3.62), and hierarchial culture(3.46). 2. There was a significantly positive correlation between group culture and empowerment(r=.298, p<.000), between developmental culture and empowerment(r=.295, p<.000). But there was not a significantly correlation between hierarchial culture, and between rational culture. 3. According to the multiple regression analysis, self-esteem(${\beta}$=.417, p<.001), position (${\beta}$=-.190, p<.001), self-control(${\beta}$=.185, p<.001), and age(${\beta}$=.169, p<.01) were significant among general properties for organizational empowerment. As for organizational cultures, developmental culture(${\beta}$=.165, p<.001), group culture(${\beta}$=.099, p<.01), and rational culture (${\beta}$=.063, p<.05) were significant other than hierarchial culture. In conclusion, it is necessary to promote group culture and developmental culture to enhance hospital worker's empowerment level, and this article elucidates that understanding the organizational culture embedded in each organization is important for efficient management of organization.
