This paper analyzed md developed flow - shop sequencing heuristic method. The essence of the heuristic approach is in the application of selective routine that reduce the size of a problem. The advantages of this approach are consistency. Speed, endurance and the ability to cope with more data and larger systems than is humanly possible, In recent years many heuristic procedures have been suggested for the flow - shop sequencing problem. Although limited comparisons of these procedures have been made, a full scale test and evaluation have not been reported previously. The maximum flow - time criterion is selected as the evaluation criterion is selected as the evaluation criterion of flow - shop's efficiency. The author evaluated these 3 heuristic method's performance. By the evaluation of the result, we can see that the modified methods produce a shorter maximum flow - time than the original methods.

In this study, we have a goal to develop usability evaluation guidelines for heuristic-based artificial intelligence-based Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) in the medical field. We conducted a gap analysis between medical hardware (H/W) and non-medical software (S/W) based on ten heuristic principles. Through severity assessments, we identified 69 evaluation domains and 112 evaluation criteria aligned with the ten heuristic principles. Subsequently, we categorized each evaluation domain into five types, including user safety, data integrity, regulatory compliance, patient therapeutic effectiveness, and user convenience. We proposed usability evaluation guidelines that apply the newly derived heuristic-based Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) evaluation factors to the risk management process. In the discussion, we also have proposed the potential applications of the research findings and directions for future research. We have emphasized the importance of the judicious application of AI technology in the medical field and the evaluation of usability evaluation and offered valuable guidelines for various stakeholders, including medical device manufacturers, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities.

전자책은 전용 단말기 기술의 향상으로 꾸준히 주목을 받고 있으나, 전자책의 효율성과 인지도에 비하여 상대적으로 이용률이 낮다. 이 연구에서는 전자책 이용 환경을 개선하고 이용자들의 필요와 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 먼저 전자책의 이용과 이용성 연구 설계에서 제안하고 있는 원칙과 기존 휴리스틱 연구 유형에 대한 문헌 조사를 실시하였다. 이에 근거하여 전자책 이용 경험자들을 대상으로 목적성 표집을 하였고 모집된 22명의 실험 참여자들은 휴리스틱 평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실험을 통하여 지적된 이용성 문제와 요구된 이용 편리성을 모두 종합하여 최종 10개의 휴리스틱을 도출하여 제시하였다.

본 논문은 게임성 평가 모델 설계를 기반으로 온라인 게임성 평가 시스템 설계 및 구현을 중점적으로 연구하였다. 온라인 게임성 평가 시스템이란 평가 요소를 정의한 모델 설계를 통하여 온라인상에서 게임을 실시간으로 평가하는 시스템을 의미한다. 게임성 평가 시스템은 사용성 평가(Heuristic Evaluation) 기법을 활용하여 기술적 요소, 관리적 요소, 사회적 요소, 경쟁력 요소의 4부분으로 평가를 실시하였다. 게임성 평가의 객관성과 타당성 검증을 위하여 초급자, 중급자, 전문가 세 분류를 통하여 평가를 실시하여 신뢰도를 높였으며, 게임성 평가 포럼을 개최하여 다양한 계층의 의견을 수렴하였다.

본 연구는 정보 시스템으로서의 웹(WWW)의 인지심리학적 특성들을 고려하여 웹사이트의 사용성에 관련된 디자인 특성들을 밝히고자 하였다. 구체적으로 다양한 목적의 웹사이트를 선정하고 다양한 비실험적 방법들을 이용하여 그 사이트의 홈페이지 디자인에 관한 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 이를 위해 연구 1에서는 설문조사법을 통한 웹사이트의 사용성을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 몇 가지 중요한 사용성과 관련된 디자인의 특성들 및 요인들이 추출되었다. 연구 2에서는 연구 1에서 쉽게 발견되지 않은 특정 웹사이트의 세부적 사용성 문제들을 검출하기 위해 발견적 평가를 실시하였다. 연구 2의 결과, 발견적 평가가 연구 1 의 설문조사에 비해 디자인의 세부적인 문제점들을 더 잘 드러내는 것으로 나타났다.

Group scheduling, which is a kind of operations scheduling based on the GT concept is analyzed in a multi-stage manufacturing system. The purpose of this research is to develop and evaluate a heuristic algorithm for determining gro up sequence and job sequence within each group to minimize a complex cost function, i.e. the sum of the total pe-nalty cost for tardiness and the total holding cost for flow time, in a multi-stage manufacturing system with group setup time dependent upon group sequence. A heuristic algorithm for group sc heduling is developed, and a numerical example is illustrated. For the evaluation of the pro-posed heuristic algorithm, the heuristic solution of each of 63 problems is compared with that of random scheduling. The result shows that the proposed heuristic algorithm provides better solution in light of the proposed cost function.

In the last decade, the research of the usability of mobile phones has been a newly evolving area with few established methodologies and realistic practices that ensure capturing usability in evaluation. Thus, there exists growing demand to explore appropriate evaluation methodologies that evaluate the usability of mobile phones quickly as well as comprehensively. This study aims to develop a task-based usability checklist based on heuristic evaluations in views of mobile phone UI practitioners. A hierarchical structure of UI design elements and usability principles related to mobile phones were developed and then utilized to develop the checklist. In order to demonstrate the practical effectiveness of the proposed checklist, comparative experiments were conducted on the usability checklist and usability testing. Majority of usability problems found by usability testing and additional problems were discovered by the proposed checklist. It is expected that the usability checklist proposed in this study could be used quickly and efficiently by usability practitioners to evaluate the mobile phone UI in the middle of the mobile phone development process.

The purpose of this study was to develop a self-management program for patients suffering from coronary artery disease (CAD), based on the self-determination theory and subsequently perform a heuristic evaluation by professionals and a quality assessment by users. The program consisted of 6 main menus and 20 submenus. Heuristic evaluation was conducted using eight principles, and as a result, a score of 1 was assigned by a professional for five principles: consistency and mapping, good ergonomics and minimalist design, flexibility and efficiency, anesthetics, and error management. Two professionals gave the principles of ease of input, screen readability, and glanceability a score of 1. In the quality assessment by the users, the system quality category had the highest score of 4.6 out of 5, and information quality had the lowest score of 3.87 out of 5. The overall average score was 4.08, which indicated the general satisfaction regarding the quality of the application. We have reflected on all the recommendations provided by the professionals based on their heuristic evaluation and incorporated them in the program.
