  • The UTAUT was presented as a comprehensive of eight existing theories to improve the limit of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and it has been also utilizing in various fields related to acceptance and diffusion of new technology. In this study, we analyzed factors utilized in UTAUT through meta-analysis, and confirms the consistency of the model. We presented the principal factors and the additional factors. Moreover, we presented differences and suggestions through comparative analysis with previous researches. The meta-analysis showed that satisfaction, hedonic motivation, attitude, perceived enjoyment showed a important factors as additional factors. Based on this result, we presented an extended UTAUT model. In the case of Korea studies, it was found that increasing the degree of behavior intention is the most important factor leading to use behavior. The results of this research will be able to support researchers who research the acceptance and diffusion of new technologies, and companies trying to launch new products.

  • In this paper, we intend to understand distinguishable SNS technology contributions for B2C commerce. In order to theorize this, we draw upon Technology-to-Performance chain (TPC) theory to develop the model that could explain how the technology value of the SNS could be realizable. For the purpose of capturing SNS technology effect to B2C channel effectiveness, on the basis of TPC theory, personal productivity is selected as a performance variable instead of satisfaction from SNS usage. Accordingly, as the antecedents of personal productivity, two variables of locatability and timeliness are extracted to reflect Task-technology-fit (TTF) dimension of performance precursors. For the utilization dimension of TPC framework, convenience and recreation tendency of the personal traits in shopping are included as the precursors of SNS utilization in the sense of reflecting utilitarian and hedonic value of SNS adoption. Empirical validation is conducted with reference to promotion and sales event on Facebook, which is chosen as the typical SNS based B2C commerce scenario. The data analysis result provide useful insights to further investigate the firm's SNS usage potentials for business applications.

The subjects of this study were 266 university students dwelling in Seoul. A questionnaire was used as the survey method. The data was analyzed by Cronbach's alpha, frequencies, percentile, mean, factor analysis, K-mean cluster analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range tests, multiple linear regressions. Computations were conducted by SPSS WIN 12.0. The study produced the following results. First, college students can be categorized into 3 shopping values by K-means Cluster analysis of 13 items: the hedonic shopper (shopping value), the utilitarian shopper (shopping value) and the balanced shopper (shopping value). • Consumption has generally become more fragmented, hedonic and individual specific, satisfying not only functional but also emotional needs. In parallel, customer satisfaction is now thought to be both a cognitive and affective response, and the closely related concept of job satisfaction is commonly seen as an emotional reaction. The reasoning within quality management does, however, still lean heavily toward cognitive judgements (i.e. performance ratings), the emotional component clearly being under explored. Further, performance variables have shown not to be significant in predicting satisfaction for certain 'experience products', the effect fully mediated by emotions. As a consequence a cognitive judgement based quality concept has lost its ability to predict satisfaction, which clearly contradicts with the modem quality definition, stressing quality as the ability to satisfy the customer. Emotions have however entered the quality discourse and it has been proposed that having customers that are merely feeling satisfied will not suffice. Instead, there has been a plethora of executive exhortations in the trade press calling on business to 'delight the customer'. Strategies for doing so have however usually been imprecise and unclear, and the different drivers of delight and satisfaction are not well explored. This paper aims to complement the previous cognitive dominance by exploring the multiple emotional responses involved in customer satisfaction. A conclusion being that we currently are measuring something, in terms of satisfied, that is more or less independent of what we aim for, in terms of delight. It is also most likely that - depending on the situation, product, and person - other positive and negative emotions are more important outcomes of purchase and usage than merely satisfaction. It is questioned whether a single, summary response such as satisfaction is feasible or even desirable.

A total of 250 questionnaire response data was obtained. Hypotheses were tested using SPSS. Specifically, it has been found that it directly affects customer loyalty and indirectly influences through service quality evaluation. The moderated mediation effect of the bargain-proneness tendency in the process of basic value satisfaction affecting customer loyalty through service quality evaluation has been verified. In other words, the higher the bargain-proneness tendency, the more influence the basic value satisfaction has on the favorable service quality evaluation. Conclusions - This study contributed to the distribution literature in that it attempted a new empirical study considering the variable 'bargain-proneness tendency', which had not received much academic attention in the past. Furthermore, this study contributed academically in that it presented important moderating variables that should be paid attention in the field of distribution studies. In this study, bargain-proneness was used with a focus on traditional markets, but this variable could play an significant role in future offline distribution studies that should pay attention to meet hedonic needs of shopping. These results suggested that traditional market practitioners should focus on the basic value and that the bargain-prone consumer segment should be considered as a target.

The consumer groups were divided by habitual experience and self-evaluated knowledge relate to apparel product. The results of this study showed that consumers have different preferences and post-utilization satisfaction regarding the type of sales promotion offered by fashion retailers. Consumers with more experiences in apparel product and with higher self-evaluated knowledge were more active in utilizing the benefits offered through the value-added type of sales promotions, such as the gift certificate or coupon. Consumers with more experience in apparel product also showed higher satisfaction with both the utilitarian and hedonic types of sales promotions, such as gift certificate offer, special price, price discount event, and coupon or courtesy card offer. Furthermore, consumers with higher self-evaluated knowledge showed higher satisfaction with the utilitarian types of sales promotion, such as gift certificate offer and regular sale.
