연도별 기상데이터를 활용한 건물의 냉.난방부하 특성 비교 (Comparative Studies on Heating and Cooling Loads' of a Building Varied by Annual Weather Data)

  • 본 연구는 건물에너지 효율 향상을 위한 목적으로 기상데이터 변화에 따른 건물 냉 난방부하량을 예측하고 결과를 비교 분석한 것으로, 연구 성과는 다음과 같다. 1)기상청에서 입수데이터를 평가툴인 ESP-r에 활용할 수 있도록 항목별 기상데이터를 개발하였다. 표준기상 데이터의 외기온도, 습도, 풍속은 대부분의 경우 기상청데이터 보다 크거나 높았다. 수평면전일사량은 기상청데이터가 높았고, 직달일사량은 겨울철에는 표준기상데이터가, 여름철에는 기상청데이터가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 2)대학교 캠퍼스 내에 신축된 후생복지관을 대상으로 한 시뮬레이션 결과, 최대난방부하의 경우 표준년도, 2006년, 2009년이 비슷한 반면 2007년은 표준년도 대비 81%, 2008년은 96% 수준이었고, 연간난방부하는 2006년, 2008년의 순으로 난방수요가 많았다. 한편, 냉방부하의 경우에는, 상대적으로 최대냉방부하가 큰 2007년, 2009년의 연간 냉방부하보다 최대냉방부하가 가장 적은 2008년의 연간냉방부하가 더 큰 결과를 보였다. 3)냉 난방기기의 상당시간가동률을 평가한 결과, 표준년도의 최대부하대비 상당시간가동률은 2006~2009년이 표준년도에 비해 대부분 가동률이 낮았다.

압력용기시험에 의한 EVA분진의 혼촉 위험성 평가 (Risk evaluation of EVA dust with oxidizer by a pressure vessel)

  • 석유 화학플랜트에서 다량 부산되는 가연성 고체인 EVA(ethyl vinyl acetate) 분진의 열적특성 및 산화제와의 혼촉 위험성을 조사하였다. 시차주사열량계(DSC, Differential Scanning calorimeter) 및 열중량 분석기(TGA, Thermogavimetric Analysis)를 이용하여 온도에 따른 발열개시온도 및 중량감소를 조사하였고, EVA 분진의 위험성을 살펴보고자 몇 가지 대표적인 산화제와 혼합하여 무게비에 따른 압력용기 내에서의 혼촉 위험성을 조사하였다. DSC 분석 결과 EVA 분진의 열분해에 따른 발열 peak가 220~$250^{\circ}$ 부근에서 나타나고 있으며, TGA 분석결과 EVA 분진의 분해온도는 250~$500^{\circ}$ 범위이다. 압력 용기 시험에 의한 산화제와 EVA 분진의 혼촉 위험성은 오리피스 직경이 감소할수록 증가하며, 승온속도가 증가할수록 증가한다. 또한 승온속도가 느린 경우에는 시료의 분해온도와 산화제의 분해온도가 비슷한 경우 혼촉 위험성이 크게 나타났으며, 승온속도가 빠른 경우에는 시료 및 산화제의 분해온도보다는 분자 내에 산소의 함유량이 높은 산화제가 혼촉 위험성이 크게 나타났다.

생활(生活)쓰레기 및 유기성폐기물(有機性廢棄物) 혼합(混合)에 따른 RDF 연료화(燃料化)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the RDF fuel mixing with household and organic wastes)

  • 본 연구는 B시 생활폐기물 및 유기성 폐기물의 혼합에 따른 연료화 및 활용방안에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 반입폐기물, sludge cake와 food wast의 모든 혼합비율의 발열량이 6,000 kcal/kg으로 산출되었고, sludge의 경우 공연비와 온도가 높을수록 발생되는 유해물질 농도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 유해물질의 배출기준과 비교하여 보았을 때, 공연비가 2인 경우 800$^{\circ}C$일 때 유해물질 (CO, NOx, SOx)들이 기준이하의 배출 농도를 나타내었으며 혼재 소각 시 소각로 내부 온도 또한 가장 안정되는 것으로 나타났다. 소각시 완전연소가 이루어진다면, 혼합하여 RDF를 제조 시 발열량이 6000 kcal/kg이상으로 연료화 하기에 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

약품 주입비율에 따른 하수 슬러지 형태(소화·비소화)가 건조효율에 미치는 영향 - 근적외선 및 마이크로파를 중심으로 - (Effect on Drying Efficiency of the Sewage Sludge (Digested, non digested) according to Polymer dose Ratio - Focus on the NIR and Microwave -)

  • In this study, we evaluated the effect of the type of sewage sludge (digested, non digested) on drying efficiency according to the polymer injection rate. The drying characteristics were shown using a near-infrared ray (NIR) and a microwave. As a result of the drying characteristics with NIR at a polymer dose ratio of 8%, the heating up period is up to 6 minutes after the start of the drying experiment. Afterwards, the constant rate drying period of the digested sludge (A, C and G sites) was 6 minute → 18 minute, showing a rapid decrease in moisture. On the other hand, non digested sludge (B, D, E, F, H, I, J and K sites) showed gradual drying characteristics compared to digested sludge until complete drying (10%). As the polymer dose ratio of 10% and 12%, the heating up period for digested sludge is up to 6 minute after the start of the experiment. Afterwards, the constant rate drying period of the digested sludge was 6 minute → 20 minute, showing a rapid decrease in moisture. On the other hand, the heating up period of non digested sludge was up to 10 minute after the start of the experiment, and the constant rate drying period was 10 minute → 22 minute, which was shorter than digested sludge. As a result of the drying characteristics with microwave at a polymer dose ratio of 8%, 10% and 12%, the constant rate drying period the digested sludge was 4 minute → 20~22 minute, showing a rapid decrease in moisture. On the other hand, non digested sludge of the constant rate drying period was 4 minute → 22~30 minute, which was longer than digested sludge.

가정용 목재 펠릿 보일러에 대한 부분부하 운전 특성 (Part Load Performance Characteristics of Domestic Wood Pellet Boiler)

  • Recently domestic wood pellet boilers are installed in rural and forestry houses. The fuel price per lower heating value of wood pellet is about 20 % lower than that of heating oil on July 2010. In spite of lower price of wood pellet, a few user of wood pellet boiler complain expensive fuel cost. One of this reason is inaccurate or improper air-fuel ratio setting of wood pellet boiler. O2 concentration of flue gas of domestic wood pellet boiler is about 9.7 % and there are few domestic wood pellet boiler which can control air-fuel ratio automatically. We tested a domestic wood pellet boiler in changing boiler thermal output and air-fuel ratio. The nominal boiler thermal output is 25 kW (21 500 kcal/h). We measured thermal efficiency and flue gas concentrations such as CO and NOx at each boiler thermal load with various air-fuel ratio. The results show that if air flow rate is the same as full load and part load, thermal efficiency of part load of 40 % drops about 7.7 %p compared to boiler full load case.

An Experimental Study on the Performance of Air/Water Direct Contact Air Conditioning System

  • Direct contact air conditioning systems, in which heat and mass are transferred directly between air and water droplets, have many advantages over conventional indirect contact systems. The purpose of this research is to investigate the cooling and heating performances of direct contact air conditioning system for various inlet parameters such as air velocity, air temperature, water flow rate and water temperature. The experimental apparatus comprises a wind tunnel, water spray system, scrubber, demister, heater, refrigerator, flow and temperature controller, and data acquisition system. The inlet and outlet conditions of air and water are measured when the air contacts directly with water droplets as a counter flow in the spray section of the wind tunnel, and the heat and mass transfer rates between air and water are calculated. The droplet size of the water sprays is also measured using a Malvern Particle Analyzer. In the cooling conditions, the outlet air temperature and humidity ratio decrease as the water flow rate increases and as the water temperature, air velocity and temperature decrease. On the contrary, the outlet air temperature and humidity ratio increase in the heating conditions as the water flow rate and temperature increase and as the air velocity decreases.

농업시설 난방을 위한 축산폐기물의 고형 연료화 연구 (Study on the Development of Solid Fuel of Animal Wastes for Heating of Agricultural Facilities)

  • This study was carried out to obtain the basic data for the development of the solid fuel with investigating the characteristics of mixtures of animal wastes and wasted coal and supply it as an energy resource to agricultural farms for heating of agricultural facilities. It was investigated for the characteristics of animal wastes (swine waste, swine waste with sawdust, cattle waste), wasted coal, the mixtures of animal wastes and wasted coal with or without mixing seawater. The characteristics of solid fuel according to the mixture ratio of animal wastes and wasted coal were analyzed. The effects of seawater affecting on calorific value and thermal pyrolysis of solid fuels were investigated. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The calorific value was improved with mixing seawater into wasted coal due to chemical reaction. 2) The diverse solid fuels of various calorific values can be made with adjusting the ratio of animal wastes and wasted coal. 3) Animal wastes and wasted coal had each different reaction temperature of thermal pyrolysis and the decreasing rate of weight. 4) The mixture of animal wastes and wasted coal would be ignited easily. Therefore, the solid fuel could be ignited more conveniently when seawater is mixed with it.

난방공간에서 형상비에 따른 자연대류 방열기의 방열특성 (Heat Emission Characteristics on Natural Convection Radiator with Various Aspect Ratios in Heating Space)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 난방공간에서 자연대류 방열기를 통한 방출열량이 방열기의 형상에 따라 어떤 특성을 가지고 있는가 알기 위함이다. 이와 같은 전열특성을 알기 위하여 컴퓨터를 이용한 수치해석방법을 이용하였다. 방열기의 폭이 길고 높이가 낮은 경우 바닥 위 0.5 m에서 2.7 m까지의 온도차는 적음을 알 수 있다. 이는 다른 경우 보다 난방공간에 좋은 열환경 조건을 만들어 주는 것을 보여준다. 장래에 실험적인 방법을 통하여 본 컴퓨터 수치해석 결과의 타당성을 검증하고자 한다.

A study on the S/W application for a riser design process for fabricating axisymmetric large offshore structures by using a sand casting process

  • The effects of the location and dimension of the gate, location, and volume of the feeder, application of a chill, chill volume, and heating method of the feeder with respect to the effect of the mold-designing technologies on the defect status of the products are described. It is possible to increase the solidification time of the feeder by heating feeder. Furthermore, the pressure generated from the feeder is imposed on a product, and this decreases the generation of shrinkage porosities. In this study, two types of gating and feeding systems had been proposed: the bottom L-type junctions and the top L-type junctions. Additionally, solidification behaviors, such as solidification time, shrinkage porosities, weight percentage of chill system to product, hot spot, and solidification time ratio (=Solidification time of feeder/solidification time of product), are extensively analyzed by using commercial casting simulation software. Based on the solidification behaviors, reasonable mold design, feeding system, critical feeder heating temperature, and solidification time ratios are proposed in the sand casting process for the fabrication of carrier housing in order to reduce the casting defects and to increase the recovery rate.

활성백토 첨가율에 따른 기능성 발열도료의 특성 (Properties of Functional Heating Paints according to Additional Ratio of Activated Clay)

  • Safety management of steel frame members is a very important part to maintain safety and function. However, precise inspection is not possible for steel frame members due to finishing materials and insulation materials, leading to poor inspection. For steel members, an insulating spray coating method is used for high thermal conductivity. The insulation spray method is not only uneconomical, but also has the disadvantage of spoiling the aesthetics. In addition, VOCs are released from paints used in spraying, so a solution is needed. In this study, heating paint was used to improve the disadvantages of the insulation spray coating method and the high thermal conductivity of steel frame members. In addition to this, in order to reduce VOCs generated from the paint, active clay was added to produce a functional exothermic paint, and then the experiment was conducted. As the amount of activated clay increased, the film thickness increased, and the VOCs emission and thermal conductivity decreased.
