해양 구조물의 Carbon Steel Process piping용 FC 용접부의 저온 충격인성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Low Temperature Impact toughness of Flux Cored Arc Weldmetal in offshore Carbon Steel Process Piping)

  • The experimental simulation welds using 3kinds of 70ksi titania based flux-cored consumables were performed on 24 inches 24.6-thick API 5L Gr. B pipe with relatively high current, over 300A and four different Post Weld Heat Treaonent(PWHT) conditions at $625^{circ}C$ were applied to each consumable test coupon. It is well known that, in common welding processes such as Submerged Arc Welding(SAW) or Flux Cored A.c Welding(FCAW), the cooling rates in as-deposited weld bead are normally so ,apid that actual precipitation of microalloy carbonitrides, Nb(C,N) or V(C,N) is not likely to occur in the as-welded weld metal, however, during stress relief or PWHT the operation of precipitation can reduce the impact properties of the weld metal. As results of mechanical testing, it is concluded that PWHT at $625^{circ}C$ is detrimental to weld metal impact toughness of Ti-B type flux- cored (FC) welding consumables regardless of the amount of Nb and V, but two optima were exhibited, one at 800ppm Ti, 75ppm 5 and another 360ppm Ti, 54ppm 5.

TSSG 법에 의한 KTP 단결정 성장의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study of KTP Crystal Growing by TSSG Method)

  • K6P4Ol3 응제를 사용하여 TSSG법에 의해 KTP(K Tiop04) 단결정을 성장시켰다. 가열로의 내부에 heatpipe와 복사방열판을 설치하여 도가니 내의 온도 안정성 및 균일도를 향상시켰다. 크고 양질의 단결정을 얻기 위한 목적으로 조업온도 구간,초기 냉각속도, 강제교반, 융제의 재사용과 같은 몇 가지 조업변수들에 따른 영향을 비교 고찰하였다. 본 융제의 조건하에서(0.6g KTP/lg flux), 초기 냉각속도가 0.1℃/hr 이하까지 느릴수록, 적절한 결정 회전이 수반될수록 양질의 단결정성장에 유리하였다. 최대 44 × 39 ×17체 크기의 KTP단결정을 얻을 수 있었으며, 단순가공 상태하에서도 21.3% SHG 변환효율을 나타내었다.

  • The goal of this paper is to investigate structural integrity factors of RMI(reflective metal insulation) to confirm the design requirements in nuclear power plant. Currently, a glass wool insulation is using now, but it will gradually be replaced with the reflective metal insulation maded by stainless steel plates. The main function of an insulation is to minimize a heat loss of vessel and pipes in RCS(reactor coolant system). It has to maintain structural a integrity in nuclear power plant life duration. In this study, the structural integrity analysis was carried out both multi-plate and outer shell plate by using a static analysis and experimental test. First, inner multi-plate has a self support structure for being air space. Because the effect of total static weight in multi-layer plate is low, a plate collapse possibility is not high. Considering optimum thin plate pressing process, it has to pre-check the basic physical properties. Second, the outer segment thickness and stiffener shape are verified by the numerical static analysis, and sample test for both type of panel and cylindrical pipe model.

  • The simulation program which predicts the gas behavior in a spark ignition engine has been developed and verified by the comparison with the experimental results foy the MPI engine, naturally aspirated and turbochared engines with a carburettor. First paper describes the calculations of the behavior of gas in the intake and exhaust system. The generalized method of characteristics including friction, heat transfer, area change and entropy gradients was used to analyse the pipe flow The constant-Pressure model was applied for the analysis of the flow through engine valved, and the constant-pressure perfect-mixing model was applied for the flow at manifold junction. The concept of the sudden area change was used for the muffler and catalytic convertor. Fer the plenum chamber in an MPI engine, constant-pressure model and constant-volume model were both examined. Through the comparison of predicted results with experiments, the simulation program was verified by showing good prediction of the behavior of IC engine qualitatively and quantitatively under wide range of operating conditions.

  • Currently, The method to produce a brewing body for dentistry supplementation water produces a brewing body by fabrication, burying and it is heat wish in city gas and oxygen. It uses an original judgment found airplane the brewing body uses a spring of the back wait that melting temperature dissolved various alloys in by a blow pipe, and to generate centrifugal force and produces it. In addition, because it uses preheating to dissolve an alloy in general, it is hard to regulate the appropriate melting temperature of the alloy and brewing time and generates a brewing defect hereby same as gas industry and pinhole and shows the defect of the supplementation thing due to the super-heating. In this paper, We developed the high induction heating system which it could set brewing time,temperature and had durability and security,by the kind of the alloy to produce a high quality prosthetic thing brewing body.

  • 가스상의 체적분율과 압력강하는 기액이상류에 대한 이해와 예측에 있어서 매우 중요한 인자이다. 또한 그것들은 산업용 대용량의 열교환시스템 및 선박에 설치되는 보일러 및 냉동시스템의 설계에 있어서 필수적인 항목이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 파이프의 모든 경사각도에서 기액이상류 가스상의 체적분율과 압력손실을 예측할 수 있는 이론적 해석 방법을 제시한다. 여기서의 이론적 해석은 2유체 층상류 모델을 기초로 하고 있다. 또한 이론적 해석결과와 기존의 실험결과와 비교한 결과에 대해서도 제시한다.

굽은 관에서의 연소폭발천이 현상 모델링 (Numerical simulation of deflagration to detonation transition in bent tube)

  • 본 연구는 에틸렌-공기 혼합물로 채워져 있는 굽은 관에서의 충격파와 화염의 상호 작용, 화염 가속, 연소폭발천이 현상을 수치적으로 살펴보았다. 여기서 사용되는 모델은 지배방정식으로 Navier-Stokes 방정식과 경계조건 처리 방법으로 ghost fluid 기법을 사용하였다. 굽은 관에서 여러 충격파 강도를 이용한 모델링을 통하여 화염과 강한 충격파의 충돌에 의한 열점 생성과 화염 전파의 가속 현상을 확인하였으며 추가적으로 평균 화학적 열 발생률이 대략 20 MJ/($g{\cdot}s$)이 되는 지점에서 최초 폭굉이 발생한다는 것을 확인하였다. 즉, 우리는 복잡한 형상에 의한 효과를 포함하는 수치적 계산 결과를 기반으로 관에서의 강한 충격파, 충격파와 화염의 상호 작용, 열점, 연소폭발천이 현상 등의 발생을 확인하였다.

가연성 배기덕트-흄 화재위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fire Risk Assessment of Combustible Exhaust Duct-fume)

  • When back-out & firing Process applies heat, hume is piled up in exhaust duct by organic compound and it have high dangerousness. There by, the process is happening a lot of damage that is exhaust duct fire. However we do not have certain fire dangerousness estimation and digestion countermeasure. So we need preventive measure. Back-out & firing is a process which has fine structure, electrical and mechanical characteristics, such as firing kiln and back-out kiln which has pipe line and box type. The box oven is made of heating coil, fan motor and control panel. Back-out & firing process has air circulation institution of quick ventilation type. When we operate this process for long time, fire can break out easily. Duct is made by zinc shredder. If fire breaks out in duct inside, fire by deposit fume can be dispersed easily. Accordinglym, This project estimate danger for back-out & firing process exhaust duct through real fire test. And there is purpose of study to establish preventive measure.

  • In TIG welding of pipe, back bead size monitoring is important for weld quality assurance. Many researches have been performed on estimation of the back bead size by heat conduction analysis. However numerical conduction model based on many uncertain thermal parameters causes remarkable errors and thermomechanical phenomena in molten pool can not be considered. In this paper, filler wire feeding force in addition to weld current, wire feedrate, torch travel speed and orbital position angle is monitored to estimate back bead size in orbital TIG welding. Monitored welding process variables are fed into an artificial neural network estimator which has been trained with the monitored process variables (input patterns) and actual back bead size (output patterns). Experimental verification of the proposed estimation method was performed. The predicted results are in a good agreement with the actual back bead shape. The results are quite promising in that estimation of invisible back bead shape can be achieved by analyzing the welding parameters without any conventional NDT of welds.

SUS 304 마이크로 와이어 직선화 처리에 관한 연구 (Study on Micro Wire Straightening Process in SUS 304)

  • In the study, we have developed a straightening system for 304 micro wires that are normally used in the medical and semi-conductor fields. To apply heat to the micro wires, we introduced the direct wire heating method which generates the thermal energy by the electrical resistance of the wire itself. To avoid the deterioration of the wire surface by the environment, such as the oxidation or the hydration, the $N_2$ gas was filled in the glass pipe in which the straightening process was being performed. A precision tension meter was also attached to control the tension of the wire during the heating and straightening process. In order to control the straightening process, several experimental investigations with varying the tension, the feeding velocity and the temperature (current) was carried out. As a result of experiments, we obtained the optimal processing conditions satisfying the straightness requirement of the micro wires.
