Due to several difficulties, a number of Automatic Weather Systems (AWS) operated by Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) are located on the rooftop so that the forming of standard observation environment to obtain the accuracy is needed. Therefore, the air temperature of AWSs on the synthetic lawn and the concrete of the rooftop is compared with the standard observation temperature. The hourly mean temperature is obtained by monthly and hourly mean value and the difference of temperature is calculated according to the location, the weather phenomenon, and cloud amount. The maximum and the minimum temperatures are compared by the conditions, such as cloud amount, the existence of precipitation or not. Consequently, the temperature on the synthetic lawn is higher than it on the concrete so that it is difficult to obtain same effect from ASOS, on the contrary the installation of AWS on the synthetic lawn seem to be inadequate due to heat or cold source of the building.
To find bacteria which can inhibit growth of enteropathogenic Clostridium perfringens ATCC 13124, spore forming butyric acid bacteria were isolated from 26 fecal samples of infants. Fourteen strains were found to be antagonistic to the enteropathogen and five of them produced butyric acid. A strain which produced the highest butyric acid was selected and identified as Clostridium butyricum. This organism sporulated in SM medium in 36 hours with optimum rates at 37$^{\circ}C$ and at pH 5.5. The spores tolerated well at high heat and acidity, and possible application of Clostridium butyricum as intestinal controller was discussed.
Biological control of soilborne plant pathogens by the addition of antagonistic microorganisms to the soil may offer a practical supplement or alternative to existing disease management strategies that depend heavily on chemical pesticides. Soil amendment with antagonistic microbes was non-effective because of high cost, low efficacy, and inconvenient usage on the treatment course. Therefore, seed coating formulation for the application of biological seed treatments has been being to apply successful disease suppression for many important crops. The objectives of this study were to investigate the optimal condition for the spore production of biocontrol agent Bacillus subtilis YBL-7 and the liquid coating formulation that contained a suspension of a proper aqueous binder, as well as a ground fine solid particulate material. The maximum yield has been obtained from 60 hrs-old culture at 30$\circ$C in spore forming (SF) medium containing 0.8% nutrient broth, 0.05% yeast extract, 10$^{-1}$ M MgCl$^{2}$, 10$^{-4}$ M MnCl$^{2}$, 10$^{-5}$ M dipicolinic acid, and pH 6.5. The optimal condition of dried spore preparation was achieved when cells of B. subtilis YBL-7 was heat-dried with 50$\circ$C for 2 hrs.

Over the past years, a large number of acrylate polymers have been developed and the overcoat thin layer containing acrylate polymers have been used for TFT-LCD color filter. As forming thin layer using acrylate polymers, the existing acrylate polymers have some problems such as low hardness by low Tg temperature, coating uniformity and solubility in organic solvent. To solve these problems, we synthesized new polymer(Scheme.), containing olefin monomer, which has high Tg temperature, good coating uniformity and good solubility in organic solvent. The overcoat thin layer containing new polymer resulted in good coating uniformity, stain, spot, scratch, heat resistance, DOP(Degree Of Planarization) on RGB glass, transparency, hardness, adhesion, anti-chemicals(anti-acid, anti-base, anti-organic solvent), insulation and anti-humidity. Scheme. The structure of new polymer X = Olefin monomer contains ketone, ester, hydroxy, ether, halogen, nitrile, alkoxy, phenyl functional group $R_1$ and $R_2$= H or $CH_3$. Ratio=0<[1/(1+m+n)]<0.7,0.1[$\leq$[n/(1+m+n)]<0.5.
The tungsten disulfide $(WS_2)$ solid lubricant was synthesized by two different reaction processes, i.e., the reaction between $CS_2$ gas phase and solid $WO_3$powder, and the vapour phase transport method of tungsten and sulfur in a high vacuum. The chemical and physical characteristics of synthesized $WS_2$powder were analyzed in terms of the average particle size, morphology, crystalline phase etc. in comparison with those of commercial $WS_2$powder. The solid $WO_3$ powder with the average size of 0.2 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ was reacted with $CS_2$gas flowed with$N_2$or 96%$N_2{\times}4%H_2$forming gas for 36 h and 24 h at 90$0^{\circ}C$ respectively. $WS_2$ crystalline phase was then formed through the intermediate phase of .$W_{20}O_{58}$ In the case of vapour phase transport method, the 3.5 wt% iodine was added as a vapour transport reagent into the composition of tungsten and sulfur powders maintaining a constant molar ratio of W:S=1:2.2. The mixture was then heat treated at 85$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 weeks in vacuum. The reaction product obtained showed the average size of 12 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and the hexagonal plate shape of typical solid lubricant with 2H-$WS_2$crystalline phase.
In the present research, the simultaneous punching of ultra small size hole of $2\~10\;{\mu}m$ in diameter on flat rolled thin metal foils was conducted with elastic polymer punch. Workpiece used in the present investigation were the rolled pure copper of $3{\mu}m$ in thickness and CP titanium of 1.5fm in thickness. The metal foils were punched with the dies and arrays of circular and rectangular holes were made. The process set-up is similar to that of the flexible rubber pad farming or Guerin process. Arrays of holes were punched successfully in one step forming. The punched holes were examined in terms of their dimensions. The effects of the wafer die hole dimension and heat treatment of the workpiece on ultra small size hole formation of the thin foil were discussed. The process condition such as proper die shape, pressure, pressure rate and diameter-thickness ratio (d/t) were also discussed. The results in this paper show that the present method can be successfully applied to the fabrication of ultra small size hole away in a one step operation.

PURPOSE. The goal of this study was to compare the adhesion of Candida albicans to the surfaces of CAD/CAM and conventionally fabricated complete denture bases. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Twenty discs of acrylic resin poly (methyl methacrylate) were fabricated with CAD/CAM and conventional procedures (heat-polymerized acrylic resin). The specimens were divided into two groups: 10 discs were fabricated using the CAD/CAM procedure (Wieland Digital Denture Ivoclar Vivadent), and 10 discs were fabricated using a conventional flasking and pressure-pack technique. Candida colonization was performed on all the specimens using four Candida albicans isolates. The difference in Candida albicans adhesion on the discs was evaluated. The number of adherent yeast cells was calculated by the colony-forming units (CFU) and by Fluorescence microscopy. RESULTS. There was a significant difference in the adhesion of Candida albicans to the complete denture bases created with CAD/CAM and the adhesion to those created with the conventional procedure. The CAD/CAM denture bases exhibited less adhesion of Candida albicans than did the denture bases created with the conventional procedure (P<.05). CONCLUSION. The CAD/CAM procedure for fabricating complete dentures showed promising potential for reducing the adherence of Candida to the denture base surface. Clinical Implications. Complete dentures made with the CAD/CAM procedure might decrease the incidence of denture stomatitis compared with conventional dentures.

Ultra precision progressive die have used for above one million's lot size of production part. In the field of design and making tool for press working, the progressive die for sheet metal (STS 304, thickness : 0.5mm) is a specific division. In order to prevent the defects, the optimum design of the production part, strip layout, die design, die making and tryout etc. are necessary. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, i.e. theory and practice of metal press working and its phenomena, die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die component, know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and constructed a progressive die of multi-stage and performed try out. Out of these processes the die development could be taken for advance. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis become the characteristics of this paper (part 1 and part 2) that nothing might be ever seen before such as this type of research method on all the processes. In the part 2 of this study we treated die making and tryout mostly.

The two-dimensional, unsteady, laminar conservation equations for mass, momentum, energy and species transport in the gas phase and mass, momentum and energy in the liquid phase are solved simultaneously in spherical coordinates in order to study heating and vaporization of a droplet entrained in the oscillating flow. The numerical solution gives the velocity and temperature distribution in both gas and liquid phase as a function of time. When the gas flow oscillates around an vaporizing droplet, the liquid flow circulates in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction and the temperature distribution in the liquid phase changes its shapes, depending on the gas fow direction. When the gas flow changes its direction of circulating liquid flow is opposite to the gas flow, forming two vortex circulating in the opposite direction. During the heating period, the difference in the maximum and minimum temperature is large, followed by the almost uniform temperature slightly below the boiling temperature. The mass and heat transfer from the droplet depend on the droplet temperature, droplet diameter and the magnitude of relative velocity, giving the droplet lifetime different from the d$^{2}$-law.
