IT서비스 기반의 실버IT 비즈니스 모델 연구 (New IT Service Business Model for Silver Users)

  • Content services for silver users on the ubiquitous technologies are getting attention as a new business model, monitoring users in real-time on the real-world and/or cyber-world. A lot of business and service model have been developed to apply silver or elder user. This study explained a state-of-the-art silver IT service to innovative services for users, ranging from home and finance to support for healthcare and living. Due to the variation of subtle terminologies, this study was conducted to restructure an adaptive terminology including some definitions. Current silver IT service model has been evaluated from the technical, functional, and business analyst, and its suitability has also been expressed in a proposed model and service. The purpose of this study was to propose a systematic approach of new IT service business model for silver users. A proposed model was described to explain the feasibility of the silver IT industry.

Application of Standard Terminologies for the Development of a Customized Healthcare Service based on a PHR Platform

  • The personal health record platform can store and manage medical records, health-monitoring data such as blood pressure and blood sugar, and life logs generated from various wearable devices. It provides services such as international standard-based medical document management, data pattern analysis and an intelligent inference engine, and disease prediction and domain contents. This study aims to construct a foundation for the transmission of international standard-based medical documents by mapping the diagnosis items of a general health examination, special health examination, life logs, health data, and life habits with the international standard terminology systems. The results of mapping with international standard terminology systems show a high mapping rate of 95.6%, with 78.8% for LOINC, 10.3% for SNOMED, and 6.5% when mapped with both LOINC and SNOMED.

Design and Implementation of Transfer Buffer Sharing Technique for Efficient Massive Data Transfer

  • It is required that a server which communicates with various client simultaneously should have an efficient data transfer model. In Windows$^{(R)}$ environment, the server was generally developed based on IOCP model. Developing the IOCP model, the server generally has one data transfer buffer per client. If the server divides a larger data than the transfer buffer into several fragments, there used to be a problem in sending it to a client, because there is a conflict in a data transfer buffer. That is, CPU requests one data-fragment transfer, then it will request the next data-fragment transfer successively before completing the previous request, owing to the property of overlapped IO model. In this paper, we proposed the transfer buffer sharing technique to solve the conflicting problem. The experimental result shows that the performance of data transfer was enhanced by 39% maximally.

  • According as USN's application field is magnified, various results are appearing. Efforts to apply this results in life are progressing. In car field, is used in control that level of significance is less. In home network, is used in a household electric appli-ance control and electric lamp control, security etc.. In factory, is used in process control, and is used in various application because is involved with RFID leader recently. In this paper, patient's status monitoring, USN use wish to. Because USN can utilize existent network, it is system that can transmit various data as that change passed information.Wish to send information that get in health-care board. Information that can get in health-care board is blood pressure, blood sugar, stroke, SPO2, ECG, the activity amount, position. Also, wish to forecast use possibility to involved various service, silver industry with database.

ISO 26000 적용을 위한 의료기관의 사회적 책임활동에 대한 고찰 (Analysis on CSR of Hospitals for Application of ISO 26000)

  • Objectives : As the management philosophy of hospital social responsibility is diversified, we systematically reviewed the literature to apply ISO 26000 to the monitoring of social responsibility activities in accordance with social needs and changes. Methods : PubMed Database, NDSL and RISS were searched for articles related to CSR based on ISO 26000. The articles were classified according to aims, methods and results. Results : There is a lack of research and development of the CSR tools of hospitals, including human rights, labor practices, and consumer issues, which are parts of the seven key topics of ISO 26000. Conclusions : Based on ISO 26000 as an international standard for social responsibility activities, it is necessary to develop a measurement tool for social responsibility activities that reflects legal and institutional situations of Korean hospitals.

  • Health care has attracted a lot of attention, recently due to an increase in life expectancy and interest in health. Various biometric data of the user are collected by using the air pressure sensor, gyro sensor, acceleration sensor, and heart rate sensor to perform the Smart Health Care Activity Tracker function. Basically, smartphone application is made and tested for biometric data collection, but the Arduino platform and bio-signal measurement sensor are used to confirm the accuracy of the measured value of the smartphone. Use the Google Maps API to set user goals and provide guidance on the location of the user and the points the user wants. Also, the basic configuration of the main UI is composed of the screen of the camera, and it is possible for the user to confirm the forward while using the application, so that accident prevention is possible.

  • The use of the implantable Doppler device eases the burden of free flap monitoring, and allows caregivers to notify healthcare personnel of a potential vascular event. A 24-year-old female patient underwent anterolateral thigh adipofascial flap surgery to provide a buried flap on the left temporal area for a depressed and infected skull wound. The author was able to salvage the flap from two venous occlusions, which was made possible by early notifications from the caregiver who reported changes in the Doppler signal.

IEEE 802.15.6 Under Saturation: Some Problems to Be Expected

  • Because currently available wireless technologies are not appropriate for wireless body area networks (WBANs), the IEEE 802.15.6 standard was introduced by the IEEE 802.15.6 Task Group to satisfy all the requirements for a monitoring system that operates on, in, or around the human body. In this work, we develop an analytical model for evaluating the performance of an IEEE 802.15.6-based WBAN under saturation condition and a noisy channel. We employ a three-dimensional Markov chain to model the backoff procedure as specified in the standard. Probability generating functions (PGFs) are used to compute the performance descriptors of the network. The results obtained from the analytical model are validated by simulation results. Our results indicate that under saturation condition, the medium is accessed by the highest user priority nodes at the vast majority of time while the other nodes are starving.

  • 본 논문에서는 장시간 동안 모바일 기기를 통하여 건강관리를 할 수 있는 웨어러블 심전도 측정 시스템의 구현에 대하여 기술한다. 웨어러블 심전도 측정 시스템은 1-/6-채널의 심전도를 측정하여 블루 투스 통신으로 모바일 기기로 전송하기 위한 심전도 측정기와 모바일 기기에서 측정된 신호를 실시간으로 보여주는 앱으로 구성된다. 구현한 웨어러블 시스템을 이용하여 일상생활 및 수면동안의 심전도와 맥박 및 스트레스의 변화를 관측할 수 있고, 특히 심장의 이상으로 인한 부정맥 신호를 실시간으로 관찰하는 데 구현한 시스템이 매우 유용한 것으로 파악되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유헬스를 위한 적응형 미들웨어를 제안한다. 제안하는 적응형 미들웨어의 특징은 USN(Ubiqitous Sensor Network)과 RFID를 동시에 지원하는 미들웨어로 다음과 같은 특징을 가진다. 첫째, 사용자 인식수단으로 RFID 태그와 Zigbee sensor를 동시에 지원한다. 둘째, RFID Reader와 Zibee 센서가 수집한 데이터를 filtering하여 주기적으로 응용 프로그램에 전달한다. 셋째, 이동하는 사용자에 대하여 realtime health monitoring을 지원한다.
