Background: The objective of this retrospective study was to show results from platform-switched narrow-diameter implants in the posterior edentulous region, which we followed up for more than 1 year after functional loading. Methods: Ninety-eight narrow implants were inserted into 66 patients. After healing, fixed implant-supported prostheses were delivered to the patients, and Periotest and radiographic examinations were performed. After the first year of loading, the implant outcome was again evaluated clinically and radiographically using the Periotest analysis. Crestal bone loss and Periotest values (PTVs) were used to evaluate the effect of surgery, prosthesis, implant, and a host-related factor. A general linear model was used to statistically detect variables statistically associated with crestal bone loss and Periotest value. Results: We followed up on the implants over 1 to 4 years after loading; their survival rate was 100 %, and pronounced differences from PTVs were noted among jaw location, bone quality, and loading period. No difference was detected in bone loss among the variables studied. Bone loss after functional loading was $0.14{\pm}0.39mm$. The stability value from the Periotest was $-3.29{\pm}0.50$. Conclusions: Within the limitations of this study, judicious use of platform-switched narrow implants with a conical connection must be considered an alternative for wide-diameter implants to restore a posterior edentulous region.
Linked Open Data (LOD) is rated as the best of any kind of data disclosure, and allows you to search related data by linking them in a standard format across the Internet. There is an increasing number of cases in which relevant data are constructed in the LOD form in the global environment, but in the domestic healthcare sector, the disclosure of data in the form of LOD is still at the beginning stage. In this paper, we introduce a case of LOD platform construction that provides services by linking domestic and international related data by LOD method, based on the data of Korean medical research paper data and health care big data linkage platform. Linking all data from each DB into an LOD requires a lot of time and effort, and is basically an infrastructure task that government or public institutions should be in charge of rather than the private sector. In this study, ten domestic and foreign LOD sites were linked with only a portion of each DB, enabling users to link data from various domestic and foreign organizations in a convenient manner.
In this paper, solar-powered, multi-scale, vibration-impedance sensor node on Imote2 platform is presented for hybrid structural health monitoring (SHM) in cable-stayed bridge. In order to achieve the objective, the following approaches are proposed. Firstly, vibration- and impedance-based hybrid SHM methods are briefly described. Secondly, the multi-scale vibration and impedance sensor node on Imote2-platform is presented on the design of hardware components and embedded software for vibration- and impedance-based SHM. In this approach, a solar-powered energy harvesting is implemented for autonomous operation of the smart sensor nodes. Finally, the feasibility and practicality of the smart sensor-based SHM system is evaluated on a full-scale cable-stayed bridge, Hwamyung Bridge in Korea. Successful level of wireless communication and solar-power supply for smart sensor nodes are verified. Also, vibration and impedance responses measured from the target bridge which experiences various weather conditions are examined for the robust long-term monitoring capability of the smart sensor system.

Methods:Two hundred eight women aged $60{\sim}87$ years were recruited from the elder's College and welfare center in Daegu. Each subject performed questionnaire surveys. Chi-square($X^{-2}$) test was used to compare the outcome for differences of age, weight, height, heel height and footwear size. SPSS 12.0 program was used in this study. Results:The type of their possessive shoes were casual shoes (24.8%), running shoes (20.1%) and dress shoes (16%) etc. The type of their short-distance outdoor shoes were casual shoes (32.1%), running shoes (31.4%) etc. The type of their long-distance outdoor shoes were platform shoes (40.3%), dress shoes (31%) etc. Conclusion:The heel height of platform shoes had no relation with demographic factors (age, weight, height), but the size of platform shoes had relation with demographic factors such as age and height except for weight(p<0.05).
This study focuses on user experience of Ant Insurance Platform(insurance product of Alibaba) and provides insights and improvement advises based on the survey conducted. Given that insurance claim is the most controversial part during the whole process, it is essential to conduct corresponding research from users' prospective. Some Chinese users between their 20's and 40's, who are major users of mobile insurance platforms, were selected as a sample group. Questionaire survey, which was made based on measurement items from Information systems success model, as well as in-depth interview was conducted within the group. According to the result, health, among all kinds, is the most difficult insurance to claim, which was mainly cause by security and information concerns. In order to enhance security, more options should be given to users. As for information, complains should be delt carefully and transparently. This study is expected to be used as referential material for mobile insurance platforms and user experience of insurance claims.
Recently, safety issues in companies and public institutions are no longer a task that can be postponed, and when a major safety accident occurs, not only direct financial loss, but also indirect loss of social trust in the company and public institution is greatly increased. In particular, in the case of a fatal accident, the damage is even more serious. Accordingly, as companies and public institutions expand their investments in industrial safety education and prevention, open AI learning model creation technology that enables safety management services without being affected by user behavior in industrial sites where high-risk situations exist, edge terminals System development using inter-AI collaboration technology, cloud-edge terminal linkage technology, multi-modal risk situation determination technology, and AI model learning support technology is underway. In particular, with the development and spread of artificial intelligence technology, research to apply the technology to safety issues is becoming active. Therefore, in this paper, an open cloud platform design method that can support AI model learning for high-risk site safety management is presented.
Recently, due to the rapid increase of pets, there is a need for an integrated pet-related personalized product recommendation service such as feed recommendation using a health status check of pets and various collected data. This paper implements a product recommendation system that can perform various personalized services such as collection, pre-processing, analysis, and management of pet-related data using big data. First, the sensor information worn by pets, customer purchase patterns, and SNS information are collected and stored in a database, and a platform capable of customized personalized recommendation services such as feed production and pet health management is implemented using statistical analysis. The platform can provide information to customers by outputting similarity product information about the product to be analyzed and information, and finally outputting the result of recommendation analysis.
A comprehensive air quality monitoring was carried out to investigate the criteria concentration of air pollutant in indoor of subway stations of Seoul City. The samples were collected twice per year (the first and the second half of the year) at each sampling point from February to September in 1997. Sampling point of subway stations was ticket office and platform. The measurement of indoor air pollutants such as sulfur dioxide(SO$_2$), nitrogen dioxide(NO$_2$), carbon monoxide(CO), carbon dioxide(CO$_2$), total suspended particulate(TSP) was performed to determine the indoor air quality. Heavy metals(Pb, Cd, Cu, Cr, As, Hg) were also measured together with those air pollutants. The annual average concentration of CO$_2$ and TSP in subway stations were relatively high while those of heavy metals were within 10% of environmental recommended standard concentration in all stations. As results of regression analysis between line and line of air factors, the concentrations of CO, CO$_2$, TSP, Pb, Cd, Cr and Cu were highly correlated, but those of $SO_2, NO_2$ and Hg were not correlated. As results of regression analysis between ticket office and platform, the concentrations of heavy metals such as Cr and Cu were highly correlated. Results of oneway analysis of variance between the first and the second half of the year air factors also indicated that CO, CO$_2$, Cd, Cu, Hg were significant($\alpha$=0.01), respectively. The average contration of total suspended particulate(TSP) in subway line No. 1 was shown high concentration(200 $\mu g/m^3\cdot$ day) level.
Objectives: Most of the $PM_{10}$ in subway stations is spread by the train-induced wind from the tunnels. Therefore, in order to improve air quality in subway stations, it is important to remove the $PM_{10}$ from the tunnels. After the installation of PSD (platform screen doors), the influence of train-induced wind and $PM_{10}$ at the platform has decreased, but is estimated to have increased in subway tunnels. This study was conducted to investigate the control of $PM_{10}$ in subway tunnels by applying a 500-fold diluted solution mixed with a humectant using a natural polymer. Methods: For this purpose, we tested the dust reduction effect in a laboratory and corrosion test and water pollution using fish and aquatic plants for the natural dust collecting agent. In the tunnel of a subway station, we used the natural dust collecting agent over 15 days. The study was carried out on $PM_{10}$ control during operation, which accounts for more than 70% of subway dust. Results: As results, the natural dust collecting agent exhibited an excellent dust control effect, and it was safe for water quality and soil. It showed the effect of controlling $PM_{10}$ in the subway tunnel by 49.5- 64.7% over 15 days. The use of the dust collecting agent for the control of $PM_{10}$ could be confirmed in the subway. Conclusion: It is necessary to clearly explain the major portions of chemical components contained in $PM_{10}$ to figure out the characteristics of $PM_{10}$ and to develop effective reduction measures to decrease the adverse effects of $PM_{10}$ in the subway.
