본 논문은 CATV 망 관련 장치 구현에 관한 것으로 기존의 수동형 장치의 비효율성을 제거하기 위해 자동화된 집중식 Headend 시스템 및 분배장치를 구현하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 주파수대역 중에서 비디오 신호의 송신에 사용되지 않은 대역을 확보하고 이를 제어신호의 송ㆍ수신이 이루어지는 제어대역으로 사용하는 송수신 시스템 및 자동화 분배기를 설계하였으며, 상ㆍ하향통신 및 하향통신방식이 공유된 형태로 RS-232를 이용한 9600bps의 CATV 망을 위한 통합관리 시스템을 구현하였다.

This paper introduces facility operation modeling and simulation based primarily on a discrete event system modeling scheme. Many modern industrial facilities are so complex that their operational status cannot be estimated by simple calculations. In general, a facility can consist of many processes and transfers of material between processes that may be modeled as a discrete event system. This paper introduces the current status of studies on operation modeling and simulation for typical nuclear facilities, along with some examples. In addition, this paper provides insights about how a discrete event system can be applied to a model for a nuclear facility. A headend facility is chosen for operation modeling and the simulation, and detailed procedure is thoroughly described from modeling to an analysis of discrete event results. These kinds of modeling and simulation are very important because they can contribute to facility design and operation in terms of prediction of system behavior, quantification of facility capacity, bottleneck identification and efficient operation scheduling.

본 논문은 CATV 가입자 망 관리 시스템 구현에 관한 것으로 기존의 수동형 관리 시스템의 비효율성을 제거하기 위해 자동화된 집중식 통합관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 주파수대역 중에서 비디오 신호의 송신에 사용되지 않은 대역을 확보하여 제어신호의 송수신이 이루어지는 제어대역으로 사용하는 송$.$수신 시스템 및 자동화 분배기를 설계하였으며, 상$.$하향통신 및 하향통신방식이 공유된 형태로 RS-232를 이용한 9600bps의 송수신 시스템 및 자동화 단말기를 구현하였다. 또한 구현된 시스템의 운영 관리를 위한 CATV망 통합관리 시스템의 구성은 가입자 관리를 위한 ID생성부, 송수신부, 제어부, 자료백업부로 구성되며 윈도우 기반의 C++로 구현하였다.

In this paper, geographic information system(GIS) for an intelligent power distribution network was implemented with location informations acquired from automatic meter reading system, where the location informations of power line communication(PLC) modems installed at customer side were collected at data concentration units(DCUs) of headend equipment via PLC and then were transmitted to front end processor server. By displaying the connection status of the power distribution network on GIS map, operation of advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) or management of power grid system could be performed intuitionally and in real time, because the configuration state of the power grid could be easily monitored. The feasibility of the proposed system was confirmed with the especially constructed laboratory-level test bed and the verification test of the system will be carried out for a real power distribution network.

본 논문은 CATV 관련 가입자 망 관리 시스템 구현에 관한 것으로 기존의 수동형 관리 시스템의 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 자동화된 중앙 집중 식 통합관리 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 주파수 대역 중에서 비디오 신호의 송신에 사용되지 않는 대역을 확보하여 제어 대역으로 사용하고, 자동화 단말기를 설계하여 기존의 수동형 가입자 단말기를 교체하였으며, 상ㆍ하향통신 및 하향통신방식이 공유된 형태로 RS-232를 통한 9600bps의 팻킷통신 방식을 적용하여 송수신 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한 자동화 통합관리 시스템의 구성은 가입자관리를 위한 송수신부, 제어부, 기록부, 상태표시부, 자료백업부이며 윈도우 기반의 C++로 구현되었다.

21세기에 들어오면서 기존 전력망의 한계를 극복하기 위해 IT기술을 접목시켜 신재생에너지 활용과 효율적이고 안정적인 전력공급을 할 수 있다. 또한 스마트미터를 이용해 사용 전력량, 요금 등을 관리할 수 있다. 하지만 IT기술과 접목되어서 기존의 폐쇄망과는 달리 개방적으로 바뀌면서 외부의 공격에 쉽게 노출되어있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트미터와 이를 통해 수집되어진 정보를 취합하는 AMI Headend사이의 안전한 정보 전송을 위해 프로토콜을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 디지털 데이터의 저작권 보호와 무단 복제 방지를 위해 기존의 M-sequence 대신 카오스 시퀀스를 이용한 새로운 워터마킹 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 강인성과 보안성은 워터마킹 처리에 있어 중요한 요소이다. 디지털 영상을 웨이브렛 변환한 후 각 부대역의 계수값들을 인간의 시각 체계를 고려한 다중 임계값으로 분류하고 카오스 시퀀스와 삽입할 워터마크 영상 그리고 랜덤 발생기로 생성된 다중 워터마크 가중치를 이용하여 워터마크 영상을 삽입하였다. 워터마크 검출은 웨이브렛 변환된 각 부대역간의 차신호를 이용하여 검출하였으며 여러가지 가능한 공격에 대해 성능 실험을 하였다. 카오스 시퀀스는 생성하기가 매우 쉬우며, 초기 값에 따라 전혀 다른 시퀀스를 생성하므로 M-sequence에 비해 보안성(security)면에서 더욱 안전하다는 장점을 갖고 있다.
