최적화 화음탐색법을 이용한 항만 케이슨 구조물의 구조건전성 평가 (Structural Health Monitoring of Harbor Caisson-type Structures using Harmony Search Method)

  • In this study, damage detection method using harmony search method and frequency response is proposed. In order to verify this method, the following approaches are implemented. Firstly, damage detection method using harmony search was developed. To detect damage, objective functions that minimize difference with natural frequency and modal strain energy from undamaged and damaged model are used. Secondly, efficiency of developed damage detection method was verified by damage detection of beam structure. And results of harmony search and micro genetic algorithm are compared and evaluated. Thirdly, numerical model was implemented for harbor caisson structure and damage scenario was determined. Lastly, damage detection was performed by proposed method and utility of proposed method is verified.

  • 본 연구에서는 BIM 관련 선행연구들의 고찰을 통해 BIM의 동향과 BIM 관련 소프트웨어 분석 및 문제점을 파악하고자 한다. 또한 토목분야에서의 BIM 특히, 지형공간정보기술 기반의 항만구조물 BIM구축을 위한 레이어 표준화 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 기존 2차원 및 건축기반의 BIM의 문제점과 토목-BIM의 적용 필요성을 파악할 수 있었다. 또한, 항만구조물을 대상으로 한 지형공간정보기술 기반의 토목-BIM의 레이어를 제시하고, 부산항 국제여객터미널을 대상으로 구축한 기존 BIM과의 비교분석을 통하여 항만분야의 지형공간정보기술 기반의 토목-BIM 표준화 및 적용 방향을 제시할 수 있었다.

Reflection and Transmission Coefficients for Rubble Mound Breakwaters in Busan Yacht Harbor

  • This paper reports the results obtained for there flection and transmission coefficients on rubble mound breakwaters in Busan Yacht Harbor. A2D physical model test was conducted in the wave flume at the Coastal Engineering Research Laboratory at Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea. In this study, physical model tests were completed to further our understanding of the hydrodynamic processes that surround a rubble mound structure subjected to irregular waves. In particular, the reflection and transmission coefficients, as well as the spectrum transformation, were analyzed. This analysis suggests that with an increase in wave height around a rubble mound, the reflection coefficient drastically increases at each water level (HHW or MSL or LLW). Moreover, when the water level changes from HHW to LLW, the reflection coefficient is suddenly reduced. A further result of the analysis is that the transmission coefficient strongly drops away from the rear of the structure. Finally, in regard to the rubble mound breakwater in Busan Yacht Harbor, a consideration of the reflection and transmission coefficients plays an important role in the design.

투과제를 이용한 중력외파의 항내 수면진동 저감 방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on Minimization of Harbor Oscillations by Infragravity Waves Using Permeable Breakwater)

  • 본 연구는 장주기 파의 항내 수면진동 대책과 수질 문제를 동시에 고려하기 위하여 투과방파제를 활용하는 수면진동 저감 방법을 실제 해역에 적용하고 Boussinesq 파랑모델을 이용하여 저감 효과를 수치적으로 검토한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 중력외파에 의한 항내 수면진동 문제가 빈번히 발생하는 동해안의 묵호항을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 5년간의 장기 파랑관측 자료를 분석하여 파악한 묵호 수역의 중력외파는 주기는 40 s~70 s 사이에 집중 분포하였고 파고는 0.1 m 이하가 분석대상 자료의 94%이었다. 저감 목표 주기는 항내 수면진동 해석을 실시하여 첨두 주기 68.0 s로 결정하였으며, 가장 효과적인 수면진동 저감 방법은 항 외측에 투과율 0.3의 투과방파제를 도제로 설치하고 항내 안벽의 일부 구역을 파랑에너지흡수 구조형식으로 교체하여 중력외파에 의한 반사율을 0.9 이하로 하는 방법이었다. 이 방법의 진폭 감소율은 27.4%이었다. 그리고 투과방파제의 투과율 차이가 중력외파에 의한 항내 수면진동의 진폭 감소율에 미치는 영향은 크지 않았다.

Structural Damage Monitoring of Harbor Caissons with Interlocking Condition

  • The objective of this study is to monitor the health status of harbor caissons which have potential foundation damage. To obtain the objective, the following approaches are performed. Firstly, a structural damage monitoring(SDM) method is designed for interlocked multiple-caisson structures. The SDM method utilizes the change in modal strain energy to monitor the foundation damage in a target caisson unit. Secondly, a finite element model of a caisson system which consists of three caisson units is established to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. In the finite element simulation, the caisson units are constrained each other by shear-key connections. The health status of the caisson system against various levels of foundation damage is monitored by measuring relative modal displacements between the adjacent caissons.

  • 모바일하버는 선박의 대형화로 인하여 항만에 접안 및 정박이 불가능하거나 선박의 접안 대기시간이 길어지는 경우 등 항만의 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 제시된 새로운 개념의 시스템이다. 이 새로운 시스템은 해상에 있는 선박에 다가간 후, 모바일하버에 설치된 크레인을 이용하여 선박에 컨테이너를 직접 상, 하역작업을 하도록 고안되었다. 모바일하버용 크레인은 컨테이너를 이송하는 장치로써 그 중요성이 매우 크다. 본 연구에서는 모바일하버용 크레인의 형태들을 제시하고 각 형태에 따른 구조최적설계를 실시하였다. 불안정한 해상으로부터 발생되는 횡동요 및 종동요와 바람에 의한 풍하중을 최적설계의 하중조건으로 하였다. 또 한국선급 및 각각의 규정들을 최적설계의 제한조건으로 하여 규정을 만족하면서 경량화된 크레인 구조를 최적화하였다.

병렬 계류된 모바일하버의 운동응답 및 계류 해석 (Motion Response and Mooring Analysis of Mobile Harbors Moored in Side-by-side)

  • Recently, since there are several problems in space, the infra-structure and the facilities in the contiguity of the existing harbors due to the trend of enlarging the container capacity of the large container vessel, a special floating platform named as the Mobile Harbor has been proposed conceptually as an effective solution of those problems. Two kinds of hull shapes, a conventional mono-hull type and a catamaran type, are proposed as midway feeders to transfer containers to the harbor on land from a large container ship on near shore. In this study, the motion response and mooring analysis are carried out for comparing the global performance of two types of Mobile Harbor. Robot arm mooring facility specially is devised and newly tried to use for the safe fixation of a large container ship and the Mobile Harbor on near shore. It would be expected for this comparison study to give a guideline to design the efficient hull form for a midway loader.

Hydrodynamic Interaction Analysis of Floating Multi-body System

  • Recently, several problems have occurred in the space, infra-structure, and facility of the contiguity of existing harbors due to the trend of enlarged container vessels. In this regard, the Mobile Harbor has been proposed conceptually in this study as an effective solution for these problems. The concept is that of a transfer loader that transfers containers from a large container ship to the harbor on land, and is a catamaran type floating barge. The catamaran-type vessel is well known for its advantage in maneuverability, resistance, and effectiveness for working on board. For the safe and effective operation of the two floating bodies (a container ship and the mobile harbor in the near sea detached from the quay), robot arms, novel crane systems, and pneumatic fenders are specially devised with an additional mooring facility or DP (dynamic positioning) system. In this study, this concept is to be verified through comparison and simulation studies under various environmental conditions. It is shown that the proposed concept is in general feasible but there are several areas for further investigation and improvement.

모바일하버에 적용할 컨테이너 적재 유도 시스템 (A Container Stacking System for the Mobile Harbor)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a stacking guidance system (SGS) of containers in the mobile harbor (MH). A mobile harbor is a floating structure especially designed for loading and unloading containers from and to a large container ship. A novel stacking guidance system was proposed for unloading the container in an effective way against possible vibrations of the floating body. The guidance system works as an aid for loading containers with a wider opening for easier stacking of a container into a moving storage cell due to waves. In order to determine the most effective inclination angle of the cell-guide, this study performed the dynamic analysis of the SGS equipped in the MH subject to fluctuations of the sea. The motions of the guidance system and a container loaded were calculated using ADAMS. The simulation results of the contact force between the two rigid bodies showed that a desirable angle of the cell-guide should be around 20 degrees from the vertical. This proposed SGS can considerably reduce the loading and unloading time, and will enhance the performance of the MH.
