3차원 컴퓨터 애니메이션을 위한 충돌 검색 및 반응 계산 (Collision Detection and Response Calculation for 3-D Computer Animation)

  • A mechanism for collision detection in general animation system is necessary to prevent the interpenetration among multiple objects. On the other hand, a dynamic simulation system which is a part of animation system simulates realistic motions using dynamics after the collision, which is called collision response. In this paper, a method for reducing the CPU time for collision detection by removing redundant calculations and object sorting is proposed. A dynamic simulation system including collision detection and response function was implemented to demonstrate the proposed methods, where the input data as elasticity, friction, gravity, object shape, external force and external torque are given by the user. The system simulates motions of multiple objects using dynamics, and generates the wireframe display.

다채널 신경전극 어레이를 이용한 말초 신경신호의 측정 및 분석 (Recording and Analysis of Peripheral Nerve Activity Using Multi-Electrode Array)

  • 신경보철 의수를 제어하기 위해서는 말초 신경신호를 측정하고 분석함으로써 사용자의 동작의도를 인식해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다채널 신경전극 어레이, 전극 삽입 장치, 신경신호 증폭기로 구성된 말초 신경신호 측정 시스템을 제안한다. 마취상태에서 전극 삽입 장치를 이용하여 16 채널의 신경전극 어레이를 백서의 좌골신경에 안정적으로 삽입하였다. 수동적 관절 운동을 유도하거나 기계적 피부 자극을 인가하였을 때, 신경신호 증폭기를 통해 근육 또는 피부 감각 신경신호가 측정됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 개별 신경 단위를 분리하기 위해 활동전위 분류방법을 제안한다. 근육의 내부 수용기들은 근방추와 골지건 기관 수용기로 구분되었으며, 피부의 외부 수용기들은 완만적응과 급속적응 수용기로 분리되었다. 이와 같은 실험결과는 제안한 방법이 신경보철 시스템에서 말초 신경신호의 측정과 분석에 적용될 수 있음을 보였다.

  • 본 논문의 연구 목적은 공개 학습활동관리시스템 종류 중 하나 인 LAMS를 이용하여 학습자들의 알고리즘적인 사고력을 키우며 다양한 학습 활동을 통하여 학습에 대한 흥미를 느끼게 해주는 데 있다. LAMS는 다양한 학습 환경에서 교수자가 설계한 대로 학습자가 학습할 수 있도록 시각적인 학습 디자인 제작 환경을 제공하며 또한 순차적인 학습 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 학습자의 논리적인 사고를 향상시키기 위해 컴퓨터의 기본이 되는 데이터 정렬 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 설계한 콘텐츠를 초등학생을 대상으로 학습을 수행 한 후 설문조사를 실시한 결과 대다수의 응답자들이 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 반면 데이터 정렬 알고리즘뿐만 아니라 컴퓨터와 관련된 다양한 종류의 콘텐츠들이 제공 되었으면 좋겠다라고 응답한 응답자도 있었다. 향후에는 초 중등 교과 과정에서 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 콘텐츠와 개념적인 원리가 추가, 수정되어야 할 필요가 있으며, 또한 대중적인 학습관리시스템을 만들기 위해 노력할 것이다.

The Regulatory Framework of Taiwan′s Municipal Waste Recycling

  • In addition to landfilling and incineration, waste minimization and recycling have become priorities in Taiwan's municipal waste management strategies over the past 10 years. Major recycling initiatives being implemented in Taiwan include producer responsibility, "pay-as-you-throw, " and mandatory sorting provisions. Currently, the producer responsibility regime established under the Waste Disposal Act and administered by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) requires that manufacturers or importers of listed items, including containers, batteries. cars, motorcycles ("scooters"), tires, oil, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, computers, and printers, pay recycling fees to government recycling funds. EPA then uses the recycling funds to subsidize collection and recycling. The 2001 recycling fund budget totals NT$57 billion (NT$35 = US$l). Under the producer responsibility regime, EPA-designated retailers ("sellers") must accept end-of-life items returned to them by the consumers. At the local level, Taipei City implements a pay-as-you-throw program, whereby citizens pay waste collection and treatment fees through the purchase of special trash bags approved by the Taipei City Government. However. recyclables that are separated by citizens are collected free-of-charge by the City. Taichung City and Kaohsiung City, on the other hand, enforce mandatory sorting schemes, whereby citizens face penalties if they don't separate recyclables from the trash before pick-up. These programs have resulted in a significant reduction in municipal waste. Per capita waste collected per day has dropped from 1.143 kg in 1997 to 0.978 kg in 2000. Targeting a 10% recycling rate for municipal waste in 2001. EPA plans to research and develop new recycling techniques, expand the scope of producer responsibilities, and strengthen existing municipal recyclable collection programs. To this end, among other initiatives, EPA has prepared a draft "Resource Recycling and Reuse Act" that would complement the existing producer responsibility programs by incorporating into the current recycling framework the concept of product life-cycle management.

  • One of the powerful data management tools is Building Information Modeling (BIM) which operates through obtaining, recalling, sharing, sorting and sorting data and supplying a digital environment of them. Employing SHM, a BIM in monitoring systems, would be an efficient method to address their data management problems and consequently optimize the economic aspects of buildings. The recording of SHM data is an effective way for engineers, facility managers and owners which make the BIM dynamic through the provision of updated information regarding the occurring state and health of different sections of the building. On the other hand, digital transformation is a continuous challenge in construction. In a cloud-based BIM platform, environmental and localization data are integrated which shape the Internet-of-Things (IoT) method. In order to improve work productivity, living comfort, and entertainment, the IoT has been growingly utilized in several products (such as wearables, smart homes). However, investigations confronting the integration of these two technologies (BIM and IoT) remain inadequate and solely focus upon the automatic transmission of sensor information to BIM models. Therefore, in this composition, the use of BIM based on SHM and IOT is reviewed and the economic application is considered.

창녕 이방면 하천범람 퇴적물 입도분포 특성 및 그 의미 (Characteristics of Grain Size Distribution of River Flooding Sediments in Ibang-myeon, Changnyeong and their Meaning)

  • This study analyzed the characteristics of the grain size distribution of the sediments obtained from the flooding in Ibang-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, which was caused by the collapse of a embarkment on the Nakdong River on August 9, 2020. As a results, it was found that the mean grain size decreases and the sorting becomes poorer as the distance from the embarkment collapse point increases. This is attributed to the fact that the transport energy of the river decreases when flooding occurs, ensuring that coarse-grained sediments are deposited first. Further, as the transport energy further reduces and becomes dispersed, the sorting for the fine-grained sediments becomes poor. Considering the characteristics of spatial distribution, sediments along the farm road showed the properties of floodplain deposits that transport to natural levee and back swamp due to river flooding. On the other hand, sediments along the irrigation ditch exhibited the properties of the deposits that are carried by the flow backward of ditch from the river after the collapse of the embarkment. The results of this study are significant because characteristics of flood sediments were elucidated for major rivers where flooding rarely occurs due to the recently built artificial structures. In addition, by applying the grain size distribution characteristics of present river flood sediments, it will be able to contribute to clarifying the sedimentary environments of the paleo river flood deposits.

농산물우수관리를 위한 황기(Astragalus membranaceus Bunge)의 미생물학적 위해요소 분석 (Microbial Hazard Analysis of Astragalus membranaceus Bunge for the Good Agricultural Practices)

  • 본 논문은 황기재배 농가의 미생물학적 위해요소를 분석하였다. 충북 제천소재의 4곳의 농가를 선정하여 수확 후 처리 설비 (세척기, 세척수, 손수레, 선별 작업대, 건조선반, 결속기), 작업자의 손 및 수확 후 처리 단계별 황기(세척 전, 세척 후, 선별 후, 건조 후)로부터 샘플을 채취하여 위생지표세균과 병원성 미생물에 대한 오염도를 조사하였다. 수확 후 처리 설비의 총 호기성 세균과 대장균 군은 각각 0.93~4.86, 0.33~2.28 log CFU/$100cm^2$, mL의 수준으로 검출되었으며, 작업자의 손에 대한 미생물의 오염도는 5.43~6.11, 2.52~4.12 log CFU/Hand로 수확 후 처리설비보다 높게 검출되었다. 병원성 미생물에 대한 연구결과, B. cereus가 수확 후 처리 설비, 작업자의 손, 황기에서 각각 0.33~2.41 log CFU/$100cm^2$, mL, 1.48~3.27 log CFU/Hand, 0.67~3.65 log CFU/g으로 측정되었다. 정량분석에서는 S. aureus가 측정되지 않았지만, 정성분석에 의해 세척기, 작업대, 작업자의 손, 황기 (세척 전, 선별 후)에서 검출되었다. 본 연구에서 황기의 수확 후 처리 설비와 황기에서의 미생물학적 오염도를 측정한 결과, 개인 위생 및 작업시설의 위생상태를 청결하게 유지하여 교차오염을 방지해야 할 필요가 있는 것으로 판단된다.

극동러시아 남연해주의 냉온대 침활혼합림의 군락분류 및 분포적 특성 (Syntaxonomical and Synchorological Characteristics of the Cool-temperate Mixed Forest in the Southern Sikhote Alin, Russian Far East)

  • The northernmost type of the monogolian oak forests in the Russian Far East was studied in terma of syntaxonomy and synchorology. Hand-sorting method, computer program TWIN-SPAN, CANOCO and SYN-TAX III were engaged for the classification and data analysis. Correlation between plant communitie and environmental factors was analyzed by DCA (Detrended Correspondence Analysis) using NeCD (Net Contribution Degree) of species. Three plant communities were recognized: the Abieti holophyllae-Quercetum mongolicae, the Lespedezo-quercetum mongolicas and the Rosa ussuriensis-Quercus mongolica communit. They were included into the alliance Jeffersonio-Quercion monogolicae which is representative to the cool-Temperate forests mixed by conierous and broadleaved trees in southern Sikhote Alin. Human impact was signified as the most important factor to interpret the disjunction of plant communities of which DCA ordination yielded sharp contrasting objects (i.e. stands and species). In the amhi-Tonghae region, alaogous vegetation types such as the Jeffersonio-Quercion monogolicae of Russian Far East, the Quercion grosseserratae of Japanese Hokkaido and the Pino koraiensis-Quercion monogolicae of Koream peninusula were reviewed in terms of similarity of species composition and stratum structure. It is signified that the Jeffersonio-Quercion monogolicae was one of the continental types more similar to Korean alliance that to Japanese one.

폐 PCBs의 미분쇄 공정 적용에 따른 유가금속 분포 특성 및 금속 침출 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Valuable Metals Leaching and Distribution Characteristics on Waste PCBs(Printed Circuit Boards) by Using Pulverization Process)

  • The main objective of this study is to recovery valuable metals with metal particle size distributions in waste cell phone PCBs(Printed Circuit Boards) by means of pulverization and nitric acid process. The particle size classifier also was evaluated by specific metal contents. The PCBs were pulverized by a fine pulverizer. The particle sizes were classified by 5 different sizes which were PcS1(0.2 mm below), PcS2(0.20~0.51 mm), PcS3(0.51~1.09 mm), PcS4(1.09~2.00 mm) and PcS5(2.00 mm above). Non-magnetic metals in the grinding particles were separated by a hand magnetic. And then, Cu, Co and Ni were separated by 3M nitric acid. Particle diameter of PCBs were 0.388~0.402 mm after the fine pulverizer. The sorting coefficient were 0.403~0.481. The highest metal content in PcS1. And the bigger particle diameter, the lower the valuable metals exist. The recovery rate of the valuable metals increases in smaller particle diameter with same leaching conditions. For further work, it could improve to recovery of the valuable metals effectively by means of individual treatment, multistage leaching and different leaching solvents.

SAN 환경 대용량 파일 시스템을 위한 디렉토리 구조 비교 (Comparison of Directory Structures for SAN Based Very Large File Systems)

  • 최근 전자상거래시스템을 비롯하여 대용량 데이터의 저장과 검색을 요구하는 정보시스템들이 광범위하게 활용되고 있다. 이에 맞추어 클라이언트가 메타데이터를 직접 관리하며 데이터에 접근할 수 있는 SAN 환경의 리눅스클러스터 파일시스템이 연구되고 있으며, 파일의 빠른 검색을 위해 확장 해시 기반의 세미플랫 디렉토리 구조가 제안되었다[1]. 본 연구에서는 리눅스 환경에서 확장 해시 기반의 세미플랫 디렉토리를 설계 및 구현하였으며, 구현된 시스템의 실용성을 평가하기 위하여 B+ 트리 기반의 디렉토리 구조를 함께 구현하여 성능을 비교하였다. 디렉토리의 성능을 비교 분석한 결과, 파일의 삽입, 삭제, 검색 성능에서는 확장 해싱 기반의 디렉토리가 우수하였으나, 전체 파일의 목록을 정렬하는 데는 B+ 트리 기반의 디렉토리가 더 우수한 성능을 보였다.
