The results of study for colorless hair manicure, which is well known for its useful point and supplement damaged hair glossy, luster, elastic and soft one are as follows. Hair protection effect by the management time of colorless hair manicure products, as below. When it comes to dyed hair group's hair surface condition. both level 3 and level 6 hairs cuticle changed to be irregular. And lose of cuticle has been observed with a fact that the space between cuticles are not clear. In case of manicuring, manicuring 2 weeks after dyeing is better complemented surface damage than manicuring right after dyeing. So, in case of making cuticle morphologic of good hair quality in manicuring dyed hair, it's more effective to manicure right after dyeing to both level 3 and level 6 hair.

This study was aimed to evaluate any influence food habits food intake freqyuency and factors associated hair conditions. The subjects of this study consisted of 291 female college students in Chung Ju. Questionnaires were completed by them Eating habits of subjects was irregular and hair type was not good generally hair glossy was most Who had hair trouble. The relationship between hair type and eating habits was not significant. But the rate of hair troubles, fallen hair, white hair, glossy were lower at the fish and soybean intake frequency to increasrd.(p<0.05) The drinking trime of coffee(p<0.01) and alcoholic beverage(p<0.05) per day was significant negative correlation with hair growth.

Black soybean (BS) is widely thought to prevent or alleviate hair loss, which has been demonstrated by in vitro experiments. However, few clinical studies have directly assessed the effect of BS on hair growth. To assess the safety and efficacy of BS, we administered BS extract to 10 adult patients for 3 months without any other hair products and treatments. The number and diameter of hair lost from washing were examined every 4 weeks. In addition, the participants' satisfaction with their hair condition was also measured using the VAS (1 to 10) before and after treatment. The mean number of lost hair was 140.7 (SD 59.4) at baseline and 38.8 (SD 54.4) after 12 weeks, and the diameter of lost hair was 72.4 ㎛ (SD 11.9) at baseline and 80.4 ㎛ (SD 8.8) after 12 weeks, which indicated a statistically significant improvement (p = 0.002, p = 0.022, paired t-test). The satisfaction score was significantly increased from 6.10 (SD 1.2) to 8.2 (SD 1.1) after 12 weeks. These results suggest that BS extract may promote hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of traditional Oriental hair care products on inhibition of extensive alopecia areata. Methods : We have experienced a 29-year-old woman with extensive alopecia areata to get worse quickly. The patient was treated by acupuncture and traditional oriental hair care products in 9 months. We used HRV(Heart Rate Variability), APG(Accelerated Photoplethysmograpy) and SALT(Severity of alopecia tool) scale for the assessment of alopecia areata and her physical condition. Results & Conclusions : Her hair loss and physical condition was completely improved.

There is an increased interest in having beauty regardless of ages and sex with improvement of the national income level and increase in social activities. Competition within the beauty service industry is increasing rapidly because of global impact within Korea wave. Thus, active public relations and offering distinguished service in the beauty service industry are important. Also, uniforms play an important role in providing an image differentiated from other brands and presents professionalism to the customer. Therefore, we determined function and design of uniforms required in beauty service industry by researching wearing realities, satisfaction, preferred designs and functions of uniforms from hair shop staff. Functional and aesthetic uniforms play an important role to enhance the staffs' sense of belonging. In addition, it is good for the image of hair shop. Special design mirroring job characteristics with expression of differentiated personalities is needed. However, the research was conducted only in the hair shop in Seoul, Daejeon, and Gyeonggi-do. Further studies on much wider areas will be needed.

This study aimed to help the college students majoring in beauty to have interests and manage the functional areas of scalp and hair by accurately identifying the condition of scalp and hair and realizing the convergence management habit and subjective symptoms for the condition. The study conducted a survey on 160 beauty major college universities in their 20s living in the Jeonnam area by asking the subjects to directly write the answers. The study found that many subjects had combination type of scalps and hair problems of split ends and thin hair, and recognized that their hair was damaged. They answered that frequent dyeing and perm caused the damage and they were using the shampoo for damaged hair to prevent hair damage. Regarding the observable symptoms on scalp and hair, it was identified that self-perception was higher as the interest in scalp was high, which influenced age and sleeping time.

Onions are commonly available and easily processed, and since their skins are thrown away they could be very useful materials from the viewpoint of environmental preservation. This study aimed to process onion skins into the state of powder and look into the optimum condition for hair dyeing by decoloring virgin hair four times and observing the hair dyeing quality and its mechanical and morphologic changes by the different condition of onion skins in duration, temperature, density, pH, and mordant treatment. The observations of hair surface through scanning microscopy showed the formation of cuticle layer, though in a little blown-up state in the case of the hair dyed with onion skin application, when compared with bleaching hair with the completely dissolved cuticle layer. According to the above findings of experiments, the dyeing quality of the hair dyes with onion skin application was excellent, the dyeing was also feasible without mordants, and the use of Fe as the mordant increased dyeing exhaustion more, which would make it an effective hair dye. These results of the experiments indicate that the natural pigment extracted from onion skins can be actually used for hair dyeing from the viewpoints of the dyeing quality and the skin treatment.

Generally, hair treatments by complementary actions to give a sense of activity are permanent setting, dyeing, and bleaching, etc. In this study, we investigated the wave formation ability and hair damage occuring in permanent setting and bleaching process. The wave formation ability was evaluated by the differences of length and curl diameter after permanent setting. And the hair damage was also evaluated by the protein release ability and SEM of hair. The bleached hair immediately after permanent setting treatment has better wave formation ability, but much more damaged than the bleached hair after rinsing thoroughly with warm water. It was considered that the chain of hair keratin broke down easily by the bleaching action in the existence of permanent setting agents.

The colors in the hair style express the individual taste, personality and the psychological condition, and play an important role as a visual language. The western people, who has thought that the blonde hair is a symbol of beautiful woman from the ancient times, has tried to get the blonde hair continuously even though they had not the technique of hair dyeing. On the other hand, the korean people whose hair color is usually dark brown or black, enjoy a various hair color due to the development of dyeing and decoloration technique. In this study, I deal with the yellow hair style, the most prevalent color which is an important means of communication in the our times.

This research is the hair damage as treating a permanent wave before and after that is compared and analyzed the change of physical and mechanical properties. This is the survey of women's hair in 20 years old. On the basis of this we would like to analyze a extend of hair damage. Also, we would to show a basic data for hair damage prevention and hair improvement to keep the beautiful and healthy hair. The conclusion is as follow. : The swelling degree after the treatment was found to be greater than before permanent wave treatment. For the formational characteristics wave, untreated hair certainly had more elastic S curl wave than damaged hair in all the permanent wave treatments, and damaged hair and extremely damaged hair had less elasticity and had saggy S curl wave. The protein permanent and soft permanent wave had thicker, gorgeous, and better elastic wave than the regular permanent wave and direct heating permanent wave in all the hair condition. As the degree of damage on hair got greater, the tensile strength dramatically decreased and as the degree of damage got greater, the elongation was great as well. For treatment method, direct heating permanent wave showed the greatest effect, causing the most damage.
