The purpose of this study was to find out proper evaluative words according to fashion image and to identify the correlation between clothing style and hair style related to fashion image. The questionnaire was used to collect data. 326 female aged between 23 to 40 were selected for the subjects of this study. The data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, pearsons correlation. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Evaluative words for each fashion image were selected by factor analysis. modern image intellectual, cold, urbane, simple, straight. elegance image : graceful, dignified, refined, decorous, luxurious. romantic image : cute, lovely, girlish, feminine, romantic. natural image : natural, comfortable, gentle, intimate, soft. casual image : energetic, active, free, cheerful, vivid. avant-garde image : experimental, strange, creative, avant-garde, irregular. 2. Correlation between clothing style image and hair style image ; clothing style and hair style was positively correlated. with the same image in case of modern, romantic, casual, elegance and avantgarde but natural image of clothing style was correlated with the natural, elegance, romantic, modern image of hair style. 3. The most suitable hair style for the clothing style according to fashion image : The clothing style of a particular image was matched best with the hair style of the same image.

In this study, the changes in hair quality before and after Magic straight perm have been evaluated through a hair damage measurement method. For this, a healthy high school student's (age18 years) wavy hair was selected and permed on the left and right sides. Then, the changes caused by physical methods which were applied during the fl at iron-based Magic straight perm were evaluated based on the hair damage measurement method before and after the Magic straight perm. According to the protein release test after the Magic straight perm, 1.26% in average and 0.14% was observed in Cool Magic straight perm sample. In a field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) test, saw teeth-shaped partial desquamation of cuticle cells and impurities were observed in the warm-treated hair sample. In atomic force microscope (AFM), line-profile is a method to represent roughness data on hair. According to analysis on 3-dimensional (3D) images, the hair with Cool Magic straight perm was lower than the hair with Warm Magic perm in terms of the color change of 3D images. In addition, vertical changes were observed in the hair with Cool Magic perm. As a result, irregular surface roughness was observed. This study proposed a method to minimize hair damage by cooling down the heat with the cool hair straightener as soon as the Warm Magic was finished.

The physico-chemical characteristics by bleaching treatments were assessed by several instrumental analyses such as surface morphology, chemical structural change, color change as well as tensile strength. The change of morphological characteristic was observed through scanning electron microscope(SEM). The observation of the fine structure on hair surface by SEM showed the bleached hair had much damaged to hair cuticle, and some of cuticle surface were worn away. To investigate the chemical structural changes in hair keratin, the cross-sections of hair samples were directly analysed using Fourier transform infrared microspectroscopy(FT-IRM). The results showed the cysteic acid S=O band intensity was distinctively increased by performing the bleaching treatment. The cleavage of cystine was appeared to proceed primarily through the sulfur-sulfur (-S-S-) fission whereby cysteic acid was formed as a principal oxidation products. The distribution of amide I band in hair keratin was determined by attenuated total reflectance(ATR) FT-IR mapping image. The results showed that the outer side of hair cortex was more damaged than the inner side of the hair cortex. Also, during chemical bleaching of the hair with alkaline peroxide, the hair was turned to reddish yellow due to the oxidative degradation of eumelanin. This means the eumelanin is more unstable than pheomelanin in chemical oxidation. With bleaching, the tensile strength was also reduced as a results of the chemical oxidation.

본 연구는 대학생들이 받는 스트레스와 탈모와의 관련성, 탈모 인식 현황을 파악하고, 유형별 스트레스와 탈모 인식의 상관관계를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 경기도 지역 대학생들을 대상으로 245부의 설문지를 회수하여 SPSS 통계 패키지를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 탈모로 인한 가장 큰 문제는 '자신감 상실'로 분석되었고, 특히 진로/취업과 학업에 대한 스트레스가 큰 사람일수록 '자신감 상실'에 대한 문제를 가장 심각하게 생각하고 있는 것으로 분석되고, 탈모 인식에 대한 일반적 특성과 '최근 가장 큰 스트레스' 항목의 교차분석 결과와 유형별 스트레스와 탈모 인식을 구성하는 탈모 현황의 상관관계분석 결과 모든 유형의 스트레스가 대학생 탈모에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 그중 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 스트레스는 진로/취업 스트레스와 학업 스트레스인 것으로 나타났고, 탈모가 생겼을 경우 대인관계나 경제적 문제에 앞서 진로/취업, 학업, 외모를 위해 보다 더 적극적으로 탈모 치료에 임할 의향이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 스트레스를 유형별로 분류하고, 탈모 인식에 있어서 탈모 현황, 탈모 관리, 탈모 치료의 3가지 항목으로 구체화하여 실증적 연구 방법을 통해 상관관계를 분석하였다는 점에서 큰 의의가 있다고 판단된다.

This paper looks at perceived images of female university students concerned with various wedding hair coordination including wedding hair styles, veil details and fitting positions and head dresses. Ta design an experimental test of a wedding dress and hair coordination variables, the content analysis of magazines was performed and hair experts were interviewed. 17 stimuli representing the variables of wedding hair coordination were manipulated and included with hair styles(2), veil details(2), veil fitting Positions(2), head dresses(2) and a wedding hat(1). The questionnaire of 445 was carried out and data were statistically processed. As a result, five images of wedding hair coordination were factors loaded, that is, favorable, decorative, smooth, personal and pretty one. Various main and interaction effects were found in images of it regarding to changing hair styles, different veil details and fitting positions and head dresses. favorable images, they affected by interactions between hair styles and veil details, hair styles and veil fitting positions, hair styles and head dresses and between veil details and the fitting positions. For personal images, interactions between veil details and the positions of veil fitting had effects on female students; for smooth images, That is, for hair style, female university students were influenced by favorable and smooth images; for veil details, by decorative and smooth images; for the positions of fitting veil, by decorative and favorable ones Then the researcher examined effects by dual interactions between factors of wedding hair coordination. For decorative images, they were found influenced by interactions between hair styles and veil details and between hair styles and head dresses. For personal ones, interactions between veil details and the fitting positions; for pretty images, interactions between the fitting positions and head dresses. These findings will provide sellers of the wedding dress with the idea of how females to perceive wedding hair coordination according to the variation of it.

본 연구는 라벤더추출물을 첨가한 제형제를 제조하여 손상된 모발에 도포할 때 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 실험재료는 라벤더추출물 함량을 0 g, 3 g, 6 g, 9 g 으로 펌베이스제에 첨가하여 제조하였다. 제조한 제형제로 4개의 손상 모발 시료에 도포하여 비교 분석하였다. 손상 모발에 미치는 영향에 대한 측정방법은 인장강도, 메틸렌블루를 이용한 흡광도, 광택을 측정하였다. 연구결과의 신뢰성을 위해 통계분석을 하였다. 인장강도 측정결과는 8레벨에 6 g 과 9 g 을 함유한 제형제로 도포 한 시료의 인장강도가 증가하여 손상모발에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 메틸렌블루를 이용한 흡광도 분석 결과 추출물을 첨가하여 도포 한 모든 시료의 흡광도가 감소하여 손상모발에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 광택 측정 결과는 9 g 첨가시에 손상모발에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론은 라벤더추출물이 손상된 모발에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있어 모질 개선효과가 있을 것으로 생각된다.

In order to study the relationships between trace element concentrations of hair and internal organs, autopsy samples of hair, liver, kidney cortex, kidney medulla, heart, lung, spleen, cerebrum, testis and bone from 162 Korean subjects were analyzed for Cd, Hg, Pb and Zn by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. High significant positive correlations were found between the Cd concentration in hair and bone and Pb in hair and lung. Hair Hg levels were highly significantly correlated with organ Hg levels in the liver, kidney cortex, kidney medulla, heart, lung, spleen, cerebrum, testis and bone. And hair Zn levels were highly significantly correlated with organ Zn levels in the kidney cortex, kidney medulla, spleen, testis and bone.

The root hair provides a major entering spot for the symbiotic legume rhizobia. It is obvious that dynamic cell wall modification occurs in the plant root hair during the early microbe invasion. Expansins are nondestructive cell wall-modifying proteins that are involved in cell growth and differentiation. Among about 40 expansin genes in Arabidopsis, two expansin genes are expressed specifically in the root hair cell. Orthologous genes of this Arabidopsis root hair expansins have been found in other Brassica members, rice, and Medicago truncatula (a legume). In this review, I discuss the probable function of expansins during the early symbiotic process between the root hair and microbes and the regulation of root hair expansin genes in a comparative approach.

Hair styles which independently coexist by transcending the time and space under the environment of highly developed information and communication technology of recent years, were analyzed. Moreover the concerned trends of art which influenced on these styles were introduced in this study. Through IT based information exchange produced new hair styles which have the technological images. The characteristics of these hair styles are investigated also. For the examination of yearly trends, hair styles in fashion collections of Yves Saint Larent during 1962 to 1999 were examined and classified. The results show that time variated trends are appeared in this period. For the analysis of the trends of hair styles featuring technological images, hair styles in fashion collection of Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chanel in the early 2000s are quoted.

Although Korean first ladies are not very big in changes in their hair style, American first ladies have greatly influenced clothing as well as hair style, exercising their influence over the apparel industry and fashion. Historically, American first ladies' fashion tastes have been on the center of attention and taken the lead in fashion. Although Korea first ladies' hair style are not very new or sensible enough to lead the fashion among the public, they have a sense of fashion and some influence on women of the upper classes. Beauty artists creating first lady hair style are representative of the times and have great value to the research. However, this study will not concentrate on their research. This study will analyze Korea first ladies' hair style, examine hair design and hair technique in fashion in those days. This study intends to provide important materials for Korean beauty history that has not been established by systematically arranging fashion style in the times analyzed through first ladies' hair style. Also, this study aims at researching in the aspect of beauty aesthetic concept through analyzing Korea first ladies' hair style.
